Shamis Saffron in High Peak

I would give no stars if I could. The food ordered wasn't what I ordered. Tried to contact but phone rings off straight way. Payed through just eat there no support either. Spent half hrs choosing starters two curry's and starter with sides yes was hungry. To be delivered, one curry chips and doc pepper drinks.

Placed order which was immediately cancelled but they still took my money. Avoid at all costs

I would avoid this place at all costs if you dont want food poisoning. Won't be going back here in a hurry. RAW food being sent out I've tried to ring over 10 times now and the phone line is busy.

Undercooked cheap supermarket pizza and an off-brand rustlers microwave burger and a tiny portion of chips. Might be an Indian first and foremost but that's a joke.

I made an online order for a special which it turns out they don't do. My order never arrived and when I rang (after 2 hours) to ask where my food was, the person on the phone was very rude and swore at me when I asked for my money back. They still owe me £ for this order. I will not be ordering from here again and I would not recommend Shamis - there are much better and nicer places for an Indian in New Mills.

Waited two hours for my order to be delivered. Kept ringing and them telling me it was out for delivery then hanging up on me.

Twice I've tried ordering from here. I gave them a second chance when my first order took over 2hours to arrive. Ordered last night and after 2 hours still no delivery. I tried to contact them several times and noone answered. I ended up having to contact foodhub and ask for a refund. They had told foodhub they tried to deliver but noone answered, I explained it was a lie and that noone had been to the house. I will not be ordering from here again. Terrible service from shamis both times.

Love the curry's from here also the kebabs are nice.. only fault is they slice the chicken tikka for kebabs which I prefer in chunks but still tastes the same.. very nice staff have used them regularly, have tried several takeaways in new mills and not alot have the same quality! Will carry on using for our takeaway

Given 1 star because that's the minimum. NHS workers ordered via just eat, app says order delivered but haven't received anything. Tried phoning but cuts off. Will definitely not be ordering from this place again. Will be pursuing to get our money back.

Absolute waist of space takeaway. Been waiting 2 hours for my food still not arrived and no one answering the phone. Do your self a favour and use any other takeaway but this one.

Couldn't decide what to choose, I've ask for help. And I'm glad I've done it. Had a lamb podina with chips. And I know chips doesn't go well with curry but I wasn't fancy rice. Portions where big. Huge even. Meat was well prepared and with great balance of flavours. As for now my fav Indian take away in New Mills.

I didn’t like anything about this place. Long wait,food undercooked & tasteless . When tried Dopiaza I thought it was the worst tasted curry I had, but after trying Tikka Masala it turned out to be the best out of everything we ordered. Absolutely disgusting & overpriced. So many lovely takeaways in the area, avoid disappointment & go somewhere else.

Great food and service. The only thing I can say is it's like £4 more expensive than other takeaways in the area for the same order and it's a slightly less portion.
