Amazing customer service, amazing presentations and cleanliness and the food was amazing.

A lovely old style pub with a nice choice of beers and amazing food,lovely chatty landlord and some nice chatty characters in the pub,enjoyed it that much I’ve been back a few times and the regulars remember me,definitely worth a visit 10/10

I’ve drank here many times and there’s a superb choice of cask ales…provided you like pales. A mild, porter or stout (not bloody Guinness) would be nice. I’m always surprised how expensive it is due to the quality being meh. Two pints I had Saturday tasted of manky pipes. Hoping this is a one off, it’s usually excellent ale. The staff act like they work in Wetherspoons and definitely need to work on customer skills. They’re not really rude but not overly polite. Having to constantly tell them I’d checked in was a niggle. The ladies toilets stink also. Its always been my favorite place in Mapperley and I’ll go again but at their prices I expect better, much better.

I have been a loyal customer for year's...to expensive £40 for a meal for 1....joke.. great curry terrible customer loyalty.. not happy.

Spot on. service was great and Sunday roast perfect. Welsh rarebit starter scrumptious Vegtables cooked to our liking nothing was a problem for the waitress Will be back again

Worst meal ever! They said on the sign home made food... well they served us pork pies! And they were stone cold! And it took them 15 minutes to serve us... we where si hungry and that is why we stayed. With pickled onions and mustard! And that was 15.85 for just 2! Then my son was still hungry so ordered another one they charged me 7.45! We are talking about pork pies here! with chips this time and after waiting 25 minutes the chips were too late we already ate the pies... horrible atmosphere and just not good service.

Was going to go in but nowhere to park the car so went to the garden centre instead

2nd time in about 4 weeks and OMG so nice, This time had 4 different meat dishes and all tastes different unlike most places feeding 8 people loads of food

Had a dhal rice and saag aloo within 2 hours I was being sick and everything else I would not recommend made me very poorly

Placed an order on Uber Eats. After an hour and a half’s wait with no delivery, we were told it would be another half hour. Nothing arrived. Tried to phone back and they had taken the phone off the hook! After continuously trying, the phone started ringing, they answered and then put the phone down on me without even speaking. Food never arrived. Will NEVER use these again!

This is such a lovely homely pub. Very family and dog friendly, but also a lovely relaxed atmosphere for date night. Me and my husband visited for tea with our 7 year old son last week. We had two steaks and a children's bbq chicken burger. The food was delicious, chips so crispy but fluffy inside, and steaks cooked perfectly as requested. There is a dog menu too, if you want to include your pup. Water bowls available and a station to buy dog treats from. We love coming here in the summer too as there's a park in the attached woods for kids to play on and a lovely patio seating area with a big green for the kids to have a play on. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely shocking! Very very rude on the phone when we rang up to say half our items were missing then said “there’s nothing we can do about it now, you live too far away, take it up with just eat” food was cold, over an hour late and very very rude customer service! So we haven’t even got our money back for missing items!!! Will never use again!!!

Ordered a crispy spicy beef, wasn’t crispy or spicy. It was covered in a sweet and sour sauce. Not great at all could not eat it
