Absolutely brilliant everytime!! I requested to have my veg separate from my chow mein and no veg on certain meals which they were very accommodating. Tasty food and lovely young boy who serves me when I go in. Definitely recommend 😊

Very nice people and atmosphere, the lady was extremely nice and even helped me with the food enquiries I had,food is amazing, they also gave us extra spring rolls. Payed £19 for three people which is very cheap for the amount you get aswell.

Food took 2.5 hours to arrive. Was cold and half went in the bin. Much better chienese take aways around than this one.

Ordered at 9:20. Said food was on its way, got to 22:40 still hadn’t arrived. Turns out it closed at 10 and they never bothered to contact to let me know. But still took my order and money! Couldn’t even ring to ask for a refund

The food was tasty, but that's irrelevant when it arrives 2 hours late. No explanation on the app, and just a generic text saying "it's delayed", which they just kept sending each time they failed to meet their own new arrival time. Couldn't ring the restaurant as they've shut off their phone line. I thought about driving down to the place myself to see if it was even open, and just as I was getting ready to go, they finally marked it as out for delivery, 2.5 hours after me ordering a fairly normal order from a place 10 minutes away. Abysmal service and I'm appalled that I've had to pay full price for this. I deserve SOME sort of discount at least. Final thoughts: AVOID THIS PLACE.

Very very poor service. Have waited over 2 hours for food with no explanation from restaurant. When we try to call them there is no answer, so you are left in the dark about where your food is. This is the second time we've tried this place and won't be trying again.

VERY POOR SERVICE I ordered food through Uber ears (but the restaurant uses its own delivery driver )at 7.35 on Friday night expecting it to be delivered within an hour , two and a half later Uber Eats was still saying delivery expected and still no food I tried to contact the restaurant without any luck . I then went down to Lucky house to see where it was to be told the delivery driver left 5 minutes ago , on returning home still no food . When I looked at Uber eats the restaurant had cancelled.

Ordered 3 items for delivery on New Years Eve, wait time was an hour when ordering, once order was placed said nearly 2 hours, fair enough it’s New Year’s Eve. Still hadn’t arrived at 2 hours so called and said it would be another 25 minutes. Absolute joke, it would take 25 minutes to cook the 3 items I’d ordered 2 hours ago. Never ordering from here again.

Ordered food for valentines so we knew would be busy but after 2 hours to be told firstly 30 mins prior would be 10 mins and then another half an hour told come and pick it up in a further 30 mins with a hungry kid a not impressed Mrs we settled on maccys and cancelled our order.

Disgusting food first of all. Ordered some food and came after 2 hours and it was cold and tasteless. I had to take the food back and argued with the owner to get my money back and they even tried to attack me, which is the worst thing that happened. I only got some money back, never come here to have a good Chinese.

Well... this is easy. You could go to China for an authentic Chinese restaurant or go to the Lucky House. What a lovely experience. The potions were huge. The staff great. Didn't feel rushed and felt welcome. Decor is a bit dated but I honestly didn't care. Definitely going back.

Had excellent salt & pepper chicken, very good salt & pepper chips and good fried rice. Will return if in the area.

Have to say really really good food. Doesn't look much from the outside, bit scruffy and could do with decent lick of paint inside. But food... I have to say the best I've had in years. Good value, tasted spot on and plenty of it. We had the set meal for 4 and ordered an extra sweet & sour chicken ball dish....plus chips!!!!!! ;) I have a thing recently when having chicken balls that they all seem to have the bleach taste to then. No, not at lucky House. They were how they should taste and how I remember them from years gone by. Now I've found a good Chinese I'll have no hesitation to go back. Also... Nice touch the free bottle of Pepsi Max.

The food was always spot on until today. Cold food. Salty noodles, sauces weren't how they are supposed to be. Probs using inferior quality. Rice was stodgy. Looked up the rating and it has gone down to 2 and half stars. Our fault for not checking I suppose. They need to pull their socks up

Korean beef was disappointing. This is our favourite Chinese takeaway and we’ve never had a bad dish from there, until now. The Korean style beef was tough, chewy and fatty in parts. We didn’t even finish it. Everything else was amazing as usual, especially the ribs, but we were let down by that dish so won’t be ordering that again.

The food was not at all as expected. Don’t normally visit this restaurant & can safely say we won’t return. The most that was eaten was the rice!

I called in one wet and gloomy evening just for a quick old favourite chips and Chinese curry sauce , LUCKY HOUSE Was a great discovery for me , there's not many Chinese take-aways will do you curry & chips , they would prefer to sell you a ,114 , 78 , or a 42 . Called lucky house because you're lucky if you survive the meal. Chicken balls were pink inside and batter was mushy, chips were greasy. Delivery time was spot on though so at least I'm not hungry

Best vegetarian duck that I have had. The rest of the food was decent too and it arrived way before the delivery time suggested. I would order from here again and definitely recommend the veggie duck to vegetarians.

I call the restaurant to check if my order would be on time as it's been very late on a few occasions before, I was assured it would arrive on time but it was still 15 mins late! The food was good though.

Sadly the food arrived nearly an hour later than the scheduled time so nearly 2 hours after it was ordered. Average at best which is very disappointing as previously the food has been great from here.

Ordered for collection, arrived a minute or 2 after the collection time. But still had to wait 10 minutes for them to prepare the order. It was not busy so there was no reason for our order not to be ready at the agreed upon time.

Nice food but late delivery. It was mother's day so perhaps extra busy. Worth the wait.

My food was late so I rang the restaurant to be told they were busy, my food was ready but the driver hadn’t returned yet. I understand these things happen but I asked for a rough estimate of time because it had already been over an hour. I got told just give me 15 minutes it will be there. 25 minutes later and still no food. By the time it arrived it was cold and inedible! An absolute joke. No one contacted me to tell me it would be late and when it finally turned up nearly an hour and 45 minutes late it was cold. Very poor service. Would not return here again.

The food was very nice and we all really enjoyed it. If I had to pick a negative the only complaint I would have is I like my chips crispy. So.. not really a biggy!

Food turned up over an hour late every time we called them they said it was being cooked as we spoke....this kind of service is completely unacceptable, this was a treat from me for my daughter and grand children on Christmas Eve not very happy and will not use this takeaway again

waited over 3 hours...when it was meant to arrive within hour and a half...rang them after 2 hours and was told it would be half hour...had to wait over an hour again. great food...disappointed in service and delivery...can appreciate it being busy but you have the choice to give a delivery time...it came 2 hours after that. I rang them and was asked if I wanted to cancel my order after 2 hours ?!?!

used this restaurant a lot lately but waited over 2 hours for my delivery and rang twice and all they said was we are busy and will get it their when we can or you can cancel your order why say we can get it there in an hour when they can’t handle the deliveries they are accepting

batter too thick on salt & chilli prawns. beef was poor quality (chewy and grisly) in beef noodles. similar to last time but accidentally ordered using re-order instead of my usual place.
