Average. The Satay beef was not at all that.. more like a black bean sauce with a bit of satay flavour. The spring rolls were pastry and barely anything else.

The food was delivered on time and warm. The appetiser platter was tiny for what you pay for and there was not much filling. The crispy duck pancakes were nice the flavour was good but all the pancakes were ripped in half. The chicken satay was very dry. The salt and pepper chips were cooked well but had no flavour or spice just normal chips. The chow mein had more mushrooms and other veg than noodles. Overall it was warm and everything was cooked through just lacked flavour and finesse.

Some of the dishes were very heavily seasoned and just tasted of salt, sauces were bland and didn’t taste of anything. The chow mien had a burnt taste and very little sauce in the 3in 1 combo. All the food arrived cold and the pancake roll was ice cold in the middle! We definitely will not be a returning customer!

The Crispy spare ribs were over cooked and were just bone with very little meat content. The House Special Chop Suey was very watery and contained little meat, it was very bland and lacked seasoning of any kind. I will not use them again, the food from there has never been as bad.

We didn't receive the spring rolls (the page says they're included in orders over a certain amount, which we spent more than) which was disappointing, but the food we got was good.

Food was tasty, overall not the same standard from neighbouring Chinese takeaways. The crispy shredded beef was tasty, not spicy, more like pork scratchings. Hardly any lemon sauce with the lemon chicken dish. Rice and chow mein noodles were fine/standard. Sweet and sour chicken dish was average. Everything did arrive hot.

Food took over a hour and half when being told 45 mins and your food is on the way and when it did arrive it was over cooked and dry , this is the second bad experience we have had from them but gave them the benefit of the doubt to try again , you will be disappointed

Came too early to say that the food was outstanding. I had just put in the order when there my phone rang. The driver was at my front door. There was too many veg and fruit in my order. I don't even order chinese food that much I go to Comos. So I ate what I could and binned it off. Brought a readymade salad ftom somewhere else instead.

We dont normally go here but thought worth a punt. Food tasty and hot and arrived quick , only thng I did not enoy was the garlic ribs as they was covered in batter. all in all good

Great food and delivered super quick

Received foot late from expected time then missing items then sent smaller version of items ordered by the time this all happened food needed microwaving and tasted could reheated chips wasn’t great! It may have been good if hadn’t been stood waiting and gone cold. We had to throw out some stuff wasn’t happy and the lady can not understand what your asking from them

I went in on the off chance the food had improved but again I was very disappointed. Had a special curry that was mostly just a very runny tasteless sauce. I will not be venturing in there again.

I always have Chinese from here usually really good, this time the food tasted like it had been reheated I hope its a q off and it's go's back to normal

Meat in the chow mein was so dry and overcooked. Appetisers we’re awful - ribs again very over cooked and dry. Spring rolls and won tons we’re very greasy and had barely filling in them

I always use Joy King House due to excellent quality food, competent friendly delivery staff and value for money. Good range of choice on their menu and my son and his wife, who are vegan, enjoyed the vegetarian dishes which I ordered for them. I would recommend Joy King House without hesitation.

Everything very greasy, the crispy shredded beef was fried to within an inch of its life leaving next to no beef inside, portion of salt & pepper chips was small and not seasoned overly well. This used to be one of my favourite Chinese takeaways but very disappointed with our recent order.

Didn't enjoy the meal at all, no meat on the spare ribs, the £8.50 starter was waste of money to be honest and no chicken in the chicken fu yung, very dissappointed
