What happed to them making the sandwich to your taste? Done behind a screen now and they barely fill the sandwich at all. Paying for a footlong with 3 inches of filling missing at each end! Barely any sauce. Go to the other one near the range, you can still see them make it and ask for it how you like it.

I booked a table for four receiving confirmation at time of booking and then as usual a reminder the day before. On arrival, I discovered my three friends standing at the reception, but no member of staff. They explained that they had been shown to a table set for three where an additional place would be set although space did not really allow. For an additional chair. The restaurant was not particularly busy so no reason for ‘squeezing’ us in. We were signposted to the bar where we waited to be served with no acknowledgement from bar staff that we were waiting even though there were not any other customers. Some ten minutes passed before being shown to a table, this time suitable for a group of four, where we shared our thoughts about how the rest of the evening may evolve based on our arrival. However, Charley was friendly, pleasant and smiled whilst taking our orders and bringing each course to our table. He clearly explained our menu options and ensured that dietary needs were met for one member of the group. I understand that Charley has been employed by The Hutt for just six weeks but what a positive role model for other staff. Although The Hutt is a convenient location for our meetings, we would have been prepared to source an alternative, given our arrival however Charley made such a difference to our evening. Management take note! Thank you Charley for making a difference and best wishes for your career in the hospitality sector.

Lovely atmosphere when we walked in. Greeted and served by Layla. Meal was good value and good quality. We will certainly go again soon.

A girl working on the counter at 2:30pm on Sunday 5th of January 2025 is so rude. I don’t want to visit this place again and also don’t recommend to anyone.

Great Carvery dinner, I had the beef, the meet and vegetables were cooked just how we like them. Great beers too, guest ale was Barnsley Better, Veeeeery Nice. CAMRA discount given, too! Spot on.

Esta wetherspoons ha estado allí durante aproximadamente 25 años y nunca ha tenido una renovación, es muy anticuado, las máquinas de café regularmente no funcionan o producen bebidas no comestibles y si todos los ingredientes de la comida que pides llega su mucha suerte, el servicio es ridículamente lento como el personal prefiere quejarse entre sí que servir, pero lo peor es la rudeza del personal, lo siento por ellos porque todos se ven suicidas y es alarmante, pero no es una gran noche. Tristemente es famoso por ser el peor wetherspoons en nottingham.

Been today for Christmas dinner wow it was beautiful. Well done to all the pleasant caring staff.,a big thank you to the manager GEMMA she is so obliging. There is nothing to much trouble for her .very accodating. & helpful .thank you Gemma & staff for making our family get together for Christmas 🎅 so special . For us I highly recommend xx
