Really awful. Late. Cold starters. No chillis in my chicken chilli masala. I’ve ordered from here for over 20 years but suggest you avoid from now on. No free poppadoms without notice so my pickle tray order is useless. Avoid.

I ordered 1 extra mint sauce along with the pickle tray as there isn’t ever enough mint sauce to go with the free poppadoms and the starters. I got a very generous extra 3 mint sauces, but no free popadums

The food at this place is amazing it really is, my dad is not long out of hospital and his appetite wasn’t the best and nearly always left a lot of his food, not with this curry he didn’t lol he ate every last bit it was really nice to see him enjoying his food again If I had any complaints it would be the samosas was barely warm and if it’s a meal for 2 why wouldn’t you get 2 naan breads ? Just a thought great food again guys

Tasty Indian food, ordered 2 rogan josh, it was creamy and good portions too. Naan was fresh, egg fried rice was lovely. All good!

Food was delicious as always. Have used Sanam for years with no problems so was very disappointed that when paying cash the delivery driver did not have any change at all and I had to pay £30 for a meal that cost £25.99.

Asked for Chicken Pakora, but Onion Bhaji was sent. The Handi curry had a number of bay leaves and a 6cm cinnamon bark that had to be picked out. Not impressed.

Sorry to leave a bad review but you used to be such a good place but my last three orders have been poor. Something aint right with the chicken. Apart from the chips I had to bin it. You've lost a customer and ive used you for 20+ years.

Ordered a delivery.... very big mistake. The meal was disgusting. Phoned to voice my opinion and was talked down by the manager. Claims they have never had a complaint in their 33 years of business. JOKE. 33 years on Mansfield road. I think NOT.

Missing most of my food. Missing my big bottle of coke and the delivery service was appalling. The food was cold and absolutely disgusting, and disappointed. Had me waiting at my front door for ten minutes. I AM NOT HAPPY.

Have you changed owners? ordered a Sanam special and Rogan Josh both currys were identical and bland, prety much base gravy with meat. usually the best but had two bland orders now. Disappointing.

Takeaway food is a treat nowadays and I'm always happy to have spent my money here, consistently tasty food and a reliable service.

Amazing. The vegetable Karahi was full of flavour, Red Hot Prawns brilliant (my favourite in this meal) the Peshwari Naan lovely and sweet with coconut. Incredible aromas as well as flavours. Such a brilliant place, can't wait to order again

Not all the order turned up.I rang the restaurant and they said they would send missing item out. Now 1 hour later and no missing item has been sent out.Very disappointed as normally they give a good service

We have ordered from here a few times and it just never disappoints. I am really picky with curries but this place serves the most delicious food and really authentic curry flavours. Everytime we fancy curry we order from here and we are always so happy with the food. To top off the amazing food, we also always have really friendly delivery drivers. You can't buy better. King Prawn Rogan Josh was absolutely superb flavour , texture and freshness Brinjal Paneer was very good too This is the best curry house in Nottingham. You never get a bad meal

The meal deal for 1 . Dryer than normal bit like a ready meal fine chopped onions . Chips were slightly under fried. Onion bhargys and samosas were good tho.. nice polite delivery man . I only come here for my Indian but tonight wasn't as good as normal nights 😪

😞one of the worst curries I’ve ever had. I’ve been ordering from you for over 5 years and until recently you’ve been fantastic, but the last 3 times have been frankly awful. After my last order of chicken pathia which was 99% onion, I ordered chicken chilli masala today … again, huge amount of onion .. and NO chillis in sight. It’s sad, but I won’t order from you again. The fact that I got no response from you after my last review probably says it all. For other potential customers - avoid here - there are so many much better places in and around Sherwood. I’m just sad mostly as this has always been my go to place, but the food has gone downhill too much. I have photos but nowhere to post to show.
