Comfortably the best of it's kind in this area. The quality of the food is great and portion sizes good. Delivered on time and my wife said the man who delivered it was lovely. Now I can't argue with that.

Delivery great as always. We were really looking forward to the food. We always order from here. Tonight’s food was awful. Things missing and food quality just wasn’t the same. Quite shocked to say the least won’t be ordering again 😖

Can't fault the temperature of the dishes which arrived piping hot! All very tasty but 2 disappointments: 1) the very small size of the brinjal compared to the paneer in the brinjal paneer masala. Hard to taste as lost in sauce. 2) Pakora Kurri-nothing like the description nor like any of the various yogurt curry sauces in this dish around the Indian subcontinent. Tasty but the vegetable dumplings weren't dumplings. perhaps pakoras broken up. But far too much tomatoes in a yogurt curry!

Best cooked chicken in an Asian dish ever. Food is always at the top end, tonight's Jalfrezi right up there with the best. My faith in the premises has been re ignited - Delivery time today excellent. Wow that dish was good and there was plenty.

Food was unquestionably good. The delivery service was just like it says on the tin, ABYSMAL and not a word to say sorry or to explain. Obviously, everything was cold.

Food had been crushed half my meal was spilled in the bag very disappointed pay a premium for a good meal. Their food is good but they didn’t deliver it in a proper manner. Very disappointed high price should at least get delivered properly and not be squashed. My biryani sauce was all spilt in the bag Mango chutney and mince force was spilt in the bag very upset to be honest.

This place is the best for Indian food, you get more than your money’s worth, staff very friendly and helped even asked if we any allergies. Must have.

Poor services. Repeated deliberate misinformation regarding ETA. Certain item delivered not as advertised [delivered potatoes as "Tarka daal" with no lentils. Also, some of the semosas had no vegies. I'd think twice before using again.

The food is nearly always good, but, as has happened before, items were missing. Salad and mint sauce ordered but not delivered.

Very long wait for delivery, poor in this day and age that it takes 2 hours to receive your food, get with the times 45 mins max you should be waiting, if you can't cope with it then don't take on the orders it's just greed, as good as the food is (when it arrives) it's completely unacceptable, won't be ordering again.

I asked for chicken tikha punjabi not chicken punjabi glad I had kebabs and naan bread too bulk it up at least the chicken horrid unlike chicken tikka

Absolutely stunning food !! … the best in the area by a mile ! The quality of food is really impressive from the popadoms right through to the end of the menu … the staff here also add to the whole experience , always greeting with a smile and a chat and made to feel appreciated for my ongoing custom …. 10 out of 10 from me and a well deserved 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Order was 25mins late, called for an update and was told 15/20mins. The delivery time then got an extra 50mins added on. Finally got delivered over an hour after the original delivery time and they forgot to include the poppadoms and chutneys. Very disappointed.

order was an hour later than app stated, called restaurant when 30 mins late and hadent even left for delivery.

Ordered 17:45, delivered 19:30, staff didn't seem bothered when calling to enquire when it was late, 'we are busy' was the response, disregarding the customer expectation set by the establishment with their reported delivery time which had been exceeded. Poor meat, fairly tasteless curries, samosas were horrendous and went in the bin as they and a strange taste to them that I can only describe as chemical tasting. I definitely not be ordering again and would advise to avoid on this experience.

This is the best take away we’ve had in a long time. The food was so tasty and hot. Very impressed we shall definitely order again.

Delicious food. I respect the quality. The delivery time was unfortunately unacceptable at over 2 hours. This could be remedied if they adjusted delivery times to be more realistic on the app. In additioni called after an hour and a half and was told 7 minutes away. when i called 2 hours later i was told exactlythe same thing. this made me quite annoyed. I realise that Ramadan is having an impact and its a Friday. just a bit more transparency is all i ask. Truth.

Driver messed about phoning me instead of just ringing the bell as per instructions. Food well cooled by the time I plated it up. Peshwari Nan (£4.95!) had no taste and wasn’t even sweet. Not impressed; nothing like as good as used to be and nearly £30 for 3 items and £5 for delivery when they’re literally 2 mins down the road from me?

Too many failures with delivery time and expectations. Tonight was the final straw, initial order to delivery time was 30 minutes via Uber eats, then they updated it to 55 minutes and never delivered. Call to Spice then said it would be another 25 minutes. Totally unacceptable service. Last time I will use them.

Honestly such a shame - spice used to be our go to but the last 2 orders have been disappointing. Used to be expensive but worth it but now it’s not good value for money. Tikka only had 5 pieces of chicken in it. Naan was wrong, and the food overall was cold and of a poor quality. It was also late.

Excellent service and brilliant food. Would definitely recommend! Try the mix grill personally my favourite, cannot go wrong.

Outstanding as usual, love the fact the food comes in tin trays, and not plastic. I ordered a chicken madras spicy and I love the tinge of red colour in the source. Will be placing my main order tomorrow night best Indian takeaway in Nottingham. 👍👍

Inputted the wrong address as was not home restaurant were more than happy to help and even threw in extra dishes. Lovely food will definitely order again.

Absolutely love ordering from Spice! It’s been in the community for so many years it’s a full family favorite! I’ve tried loads of Indian takeaways but this is by far the best, can really taste the high quality ingredients and authentic taste on all the dishes! Definitely would recommend

Ordered a couple of dishes (Biriyani & Makani) via Uber eats and realised I had forgot to order some popadoms. Called spice to add and with no issue a lovely guy called Bash added those and threw in some onion bhajis which was a lovely surprise. The food arrived quickly and was still piping hot and was delicious. Large portions mean I will be finishing off the left overs again for my dinner tonight. Thanks Spice.

Delivery was on time despite all the horrible reviews. The Rogan Josh was very bland and tasted of pure garlic. Not your typical rogan Josh. The hot meat lamb was vile it all went in the bin. Every bite I had was pure fat. Chips very oily and over cooked. the chicken in the curry was very nice.

When the food arrived, the driver was extremely polite and apologised for being late, but we had chosen a specific delivery time for a reason. However, that aside the food was lovely, really tasty and if it says garlic, you get garlic.... loved it. Thank you

Ordered at 6.10pm, it arrived 1.5hrs after that - against a delivery window of 30-40mins. Food cold and congealed, naan bread hard and brittle.

Late because they really only start cooking at 4pm.

Placed order at 6:57 the food arrived at 9:15 I had to ring to find out where our order was.

The food was fantastic, however having ordered 3 hours in advance the delivery was 18 minutes late. There was no way of knowing or checking the situation

Meat was OK quality but the curry itself was pretty poor, not particularly flavourful. A real shame, spice used to be my go to curry place a few years ago, havent been for a while until today. Firmly off the list now Customer service is always lovely though, can't fault them on that

Chicken korma is normally really tasty but tonight there was no flavour. Also although it sounds petty, I paid for 4 poppadoms and only received 3.

Over an hour and a half late, when order did arrive it was incomplete and main chicken tikka dish was missing, that then got delivered another 45 minutes later but the chicken was chewy and dry :( disappointing experience.

ordered my food at 7:30pm it didn’t arrive until 10:30pm. this was an hour and a half over the delivery time. not only was the food late it come cold like it had been sat for ages.

Ordered at 6:32pm don’t arrive til 9:27pm nearly 3 hours and when it arrived was barely warm never ordering from this again!!!!

Order was marked as delilvered at around 19.55 as per the expected delivery time, it hadn't arrived so I left it 15 minutes to call the restaurant and it hadn't even left there! I was assured that it would be leaving within 5-10 minutes.

Food was okay. Nothing wrong with it. Average. But delivery time was so frustrating. More than an hour beyond the initial longest estimate. Took two hours. Which is too long. If you are too busy to deliver within 90 mins don’t accept the order. Or at least be honest with delivery time. Don’t say 8pm when you mean 9pm.

My delivery took over 2 hours to arrive, when it did - it was cold! I called the restaurant after 90mins of waiting and they refused to accept responsibility for their complete lack of customer service. They claimed that they were unexpectedly busy, but when I asked why they couldn’t pick up the phone to call me and pre warn or let me know that my delivery would in fact be 2 hours and not 40mins they said nothing. I’m appalled. To add insult to injury the food arrives cold!

We order from here regularly and it never disapoints. Always a delicious and satisfying hot meal.
