The best restaurants in Ilkeston Central Erewash East Midlands

First time visiting since 2017 when let's just say it was a haven for drug heads. How ever on my visit today I can't tell you how pleased and excellent the service and the atmosphere was 1000% completely different experience. Met the landlady Coady friendly, really wants to give the place a good go. Personally I wish her and her staff every success and I urge people to give this place another go. Always first class food and service.

Once a month the Curves ladies gym in Ilkeston meet at Millies and have a great time. They look after us well, even though they have to rearrange the seating to accommodate us all, usually 20 or so. Thanks to all the staff who looked after us today.x

visited today Tuesday 7th May2024 and not been here for a very long time. Was very quiet so getting a table was easy. Drinks were good, staff friendly, clean toilets

Really nice delivery person food really fresh and hit always adjust menu as I have mushroom allergy. Very grateful and enjoy the tofu dishes thank you.

Impressed - spotlessly clean, food good quality and wonderful presentation, friendly , helpful staff, good prices and unhurried, chilled out catch up with friends. Only one small niggle - paper towels in cleanest bathroom I have ever visited would be better than the towel and it would be perfect. Lovely surroundings, relaxed and chilled and good quality well presented food. This establishment deserves to do well for the 100% effort they make - well done Nenes.

After spending an hour or so visiting the Ilkeston Heritage and Classic Vehicle Show which was held on the Market Place it was time for a spot of refreshment. Warm and friendly greeting from the person behind the bar, tables well laid out with good decoration, I love these kind of places, no gimmicks, people talking to each other and a a very good pint of beer.

I went here to try a new cafe for breakfast with my family and my parents on a Saturday morning. The price was fair if the food had of been edible. £25 for 2 adult and 2 kids breakfasts. My parents paid for theirs. I actually ended up throwing up outside, my children (who eat everything) didn't eat it. The beans were salty, the bacon was cremated, the eggs were well over done, and my partner said her mushrooms were disgusting 🤢 and the brown sauce was like they had just tipped vinger in it to make it last, so watery. When I bought this to the attention of someone that was serving and ask for some of the money back (£15) I was confronted by an idiot (whom i can only assume was the fella to the owner) who wanted to fight me (which wouldn't have ended well, for him or anybody) needless to say I did eventually get my £15 back, but after we left he stood pointing, taunting and laughing at me through the window.

They were so so rude to us. We order delivery and they said we orders pickup which we did not do then they recited our address (which was not correct btw) and we were like how do you know our address if we ordered pick up? We told them there was something wrong with their system and they just kept shouting at us. It was very unprofessional, then they told us to cancel our delivery so we could get refunded but then they purposely cancelled it on their end so we couldn’t get refunded. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour

They took half an hour just to get our food and was not very nice

Visited today Tuesday 15th Oct 2024 for lunch. Not been here for about 30years. Wasnt busy so got a seat ok. Very good menu and fairly priced. I had a gammon and the wife an omlette. Food was hot, cooked well and was very nice. Our only moan was that the pub was quite cold otherwise ok.

papa johns pizza is our favourite in Ilkeston, pizzas have loads of flavours, service is great, if they haven’t got something they have phoned and have other options with extra sent on delivery. We’ve never had anything we haven’t liked yet and love the garlic & herbs sauce 😋. All the meats & Mexican pizza 🍕 Overall great food & services

Never received my order, even though the delivery app said it was delivered. Not happy!
