Really nice delivery person food really fresh and hit always adjust menu as I have mushroom allergy. Very grateful and enjoy the tofu dishes thank you.

Terrible place. I've gave 1 star would give zero if I could. Ordered vegetarian meal . Was sent meat. Rang up to tell them the mistake, no mention of refund. Sent another meal out also had meat in it. This is not the first time that we've had a wrong order. Won't be ordering again. Terrible customer service and now waiting for someone to come round with a refund .

Absolutely awful. Ordered vegetarian curry, got beef curry. By the time the proper order arrived everything else was cold. All went in the bin and still waiting for my refund. Person on the end of the phone was not helpful, quite abusive. Will definitely not use again. After a long hard day just wanted my tea. Went without and still out of pocket. Feel been taken for a ride. Do not use, buyer beware!

I got a delivery chicken nuggets and chips kids meal. The nuggets was hard and even the manager who came to collect the meal back agreed the chips was not good. My meal of special fried rice was terrible the pork all fat and the rice hard covered in a sauce that did not make it any better. This is not the first time why i went back again i don't no. The manager took the meals away saying she will let me no her decision the following day. i have not heard any thing. Sticking with China red across the road

I order here often and the food is perfect full traditional dishes that offer colour and flavour I especially recommend the chips they complete the meal. The dish I order was king prawn battered balls sweet sour sauce. The sauce was easy to dip with and conditancy was nice. The prawn batter was light fluffy and held the prawn well, i espically like the fact they remove the prawn poo from prawn as most Dont and adds a horrible flavour as you can imagine. Most people in food know this and so do Sun do, so no nasty surprises. The price is reasonable and the online order was easy to conduct using their site as it offer more volosaity when ordering. The delivery was fast and friendly and as a food blogger I would recommend. They do offer vegetarian options and also meal deals, so children’s options available. All in all my experience was perfect enjoying fresh and delicious Chinese and Cantonese food delivered to my door. Thank you Sun Do Bear from trusted eatery.

Really high quality food, delivery took a hour, however at least it means it fresh not reheated food I rate full starts as hot tasty delicious portion sizes extrealy great value for family I enjoy the crispy seaweed with most dishes I order and the curry sauce was lovely no SMG sodium Mon glutamate . You could taste a lot of time and effort was put into making the food. Would recommend

I can only assume this take away has new ownership as we have used this place for years only tonight it was absolutely nothing like the top quality food we used to get it was absolutely disgusting

After such good reviews on tripadvisor I thought I’d post about our experience. 3 mains purchased - all the mains consisted of the same ingredients with different sauces despite being three very different dishes. Despite asking for a chicken dish - contained only 2 pieces and instead had prawns and pork!! I dare to ask what would happen if anyone purchased this with any allergies. At least the order was done quickly but again not surprising considering all dishes contained the exact same ingredients. If you want generic supermarket worthy Chinese at double the cost come here.

After some very disappointing experiences locally we were looking for somewhere better and visited Sun Do based on the reviews here. I'm pleased to say that the food was really excellent. Highly recommended.

we have been to this take away for years and the food has never varied in taste it is always gorgeous. the staff are friendly and efficient with newspapers to read while you are waiting which is not long at all to say it is cooked from fresh

A lovely Chinese takeaway been ordering from here for a few years now and wouldnt go anywhere else for my chinese takeout as nothing has compared to sun do. Lovely food and always lovely staff at the counter.

Amazing food always freshly cooked, hence the wait for delivery sometimes but we'll worth it! Try the special chow mein as it has huge pieces of meat on the top which melts in the mouth!

Quite simply the food from this take away is delicious. It has been here for at least 20 years to my knowledge & it's reputation has always been for well cooked, quality food. The best local Chinese.

Such an unassuming shop front hides this little gem. The food is quality rather than quantity but there is a large option on some of the dishes. The menu is quite extensive with speciality dishes and the usual fare. The only down side is limited roadside parking which is on a bend.

There is no better Chinese chip shop in the Ilkeston area than the Sun Do, very tasty Chinese food and the chips are very good Very good value for money

Visité este llevar chino por recomendación, justo antes de Navidad 2015, y no me decepcionó. Tengo otra vez desde entonces y ha sido muy contentos con el servicio y la comida. El personal siempre es amable y servicial, y la comida es fantástica y sabroso. El menú tiene todo lo que se espera para ver en una que sirve un menu chino, y todo lo que hemos comido ha sido bien cocinada y deliciosa. El tiempo de espera siempre es razonable, y aún mejor si su pedido por teléfono antes de recolectar. Este es un lugar muy popular para llevar con los lugareños, y puedo ver por qué - estamos muy contentos con el sol, y sin duda que volveré pronto.

Esta salsa era mi deseo de embarazo hace 16 años! Me podría haber literalmente bebimos por el cartón! Todavía sabe exactamente lo mismo y aún así me encanta (aunque no tan mucho! ). llevar chino precioso!

Excellent Chinese (takeaway only) wont go anywhere else in town. On our last visit a customer was in from Loughborough which is a 30 -40 minute drive away. No more to be said

we have a Chinese from Sundo every Friday and go into withdrawal if we miss a week. The food is amazing. Always delivered piping hot. Remember to order early as there can be over a hour wait at the weekend but this is simply a testament to the quality of the food.

Whats happened. Chips awful, beef chewy and just bland... Been a few times like this so won't return now....
