I Had Mixed Veg I Bit On Going Eating Wise...But Otherwise Extremely Tasty. Sauce Wise Very Thin If Was Thicker It Would Better Still But That's My Opinion.... The Pony Man...Ps When Look At The Menu On Line Its Fuzzy 😎😎😎👍👍👍👍

The last takeaway I had from the Peking was not that good, but everyone deserves a second chance so on this occasion I ordered food for delivery. Food arrived when it should have, upon dishing it out the chips were hard and dry, yes all stale and the special chow mein (which I was really looking forward to) contained not the normal noodles you would expect but spaghetti it was horrible. So no more custom from me.

Take out. Had the food there for a long time and all been OK but had takeaway today and was the worst I've ever had all went in the bin apart from the prawn crackers

Foods always great, I ordered for collection this time but my dog was to stubborn to let me go out without her, I took her with me and when the staff seen me outside the shop they came straight out and sorted my food and greeted my dog, Friendly people and the food tastes great!

It was very nice egg fried rice but chicken was not crispy and it was mushy as if it has been in lemon and orange sauce for a long time, my wife also did not like the consistency of the chicken.....

Such a shame this place as gone down hill. Ended up in hospital with food poisoning and have now been in touch with the powers that be to inspect their premises

I was extremely disappointed with the chicken satay skewers. They were the worst I’ve ever had. I usually have these from Happy House because their chicken is very tender and the sauce is really delicious - thick and peanutty. However the chicken last night was very tough (in fact I could not even bite through it) and the sauce was awful - very thin, dark and overly sweet with just a slight hint of the taste of peanuts. Very disappointing. I almost ordered two portions and am so glad I didn’t. There was lots of sauce on the beef in oyster sauce which is good but I would have preferred a slightly richer, thicker sauce and more meat. The vegetables in the dish were some of the best I’ve ever had though. Overall though I’m afraid I won’t be using this takeaway again.

We've ordered 4 time's from here and every single time it's perfect. Can't find anything bad at all. Mum's had her first take away and she said she can't remember ever having one this good. Lady on the phone is lovely. Please try, you'll never look ook back..👍👍👍😁

Really excellent tasty food, good size portions with plenty of meat. We always choose a different selection each visit and it’s all 10/10. Staff are helpful and friendly and food always ready on time, we’re so lucky to have this takeaway in our area, for us it's our first choice by miles.

We usually eat here because the food is lovely and the service is good, however we ordered from here recently the standard of the food seems to have gone downhill rapidly. I had the crispy chilli chicken and when it came it was extremely watery with no taste and very floury chicken. I called to change it and the lady on the phone said that it is usually like that but when I've ordered it before its always been delicious and a really nice thick sauce. We got a replacement that was exactly the same so we weren't very happy and I don't think we Will order from there again anytime soon.

We are so disappointed in the service! Totally misleading on the website. We live 3.1 miles away but they are refusing to deliver! We have ordered from this Chinese for years! Really think as a recurring customer they should deliver particularly when it says on the website they will! We even offered to pay more! Won't be a returning customer at all! Thanks Peking House! Let us down!!

Great Chinese, order always ready on time and tastes fantastic

Not one for writing reviews but what we ate tonight was awful. Could well be a one off but cannot see how. Ordered quarter crisoy duck, pork peking style, s&s chicken, Singapore vermicelli, sesame prawn toast and some chips. Only ordered duck because it was valentines, waste of money, could have been dog for all I know. Don't know why I waste 7+ pound on it. The peking pork, was bone dry and the sauce was vile. S&s chicken was average but nothing special. Sesame prawn toast didn't have any prawn mixture in it at all, it was like fried bread from a filthy greasy spoon joint, there was probably more oil in the toast than in the fryer that cooked it. The vermicelli tasted like cleaning products with an explosion of cayenne pepper. The best part we're the chips and prawn crackers Not had an amazing Chinese since we moved to the Sandiacre area last year, we've tried top takeaway, oriental chef and happy house, the latter being the best, but this place was the worst by far, an absolute waste of 30 pound and so much food wasted. I appreciate this place may have its regulars but how difficult is it to cook egg fried rice and battered chicken balls??!! Next year I'll just cook, it'll be cheaper, healthier and a lot more enjoyable.

May be biased because it's our local takeaway but we love the food

Ordered at 6.20pm to be told order would be delivered within 45mins to an hour as they are busy; by 7.40 order had still not arrived, we phone to check on the status of our delivery to be told it's on its way in which we said said if it was not here within 5 minutes we will not be paying the full price. Another 10 minutes went by, by now we had waited an hour and a half for our food. When the order arrived we explained that we wold not be paying full price for our food as was told it would be about an hour and it had been well over that time period; he phoned the chinease to check and said they accept £25 to be told by the driver because we was not happy to "go else where then if your not happy" which is exactly what we will do and will not be using this or recommending this establishment again.

Never had a bad meal from here. They are always willing to vary ingredients such as no mushrooms or bamboo shoots and the food is always delicious, reasonably priced and no long delays.

Food seems alot better than other Chinese takeaways and very friendly staff..would recommend 😀

Good food ,good price, not a long wait even when dropping in to shop. Food always of good standard. Never had any problems in the ten years visiting the Peking House.
