Midland Kebabs in Erewash

They were so so rude to us. We order delivery and they said we orders pickup which we did not do then they recited our address (which was not correct btw) and we were like how do you know our address if we ordered pick up? We told them there was something wrong with their system and they just kept shouting at us. It was very unprofessional, then they told us to cancel our delivery so we could get refunded but then they purposely cancelled it on their end so we couldn’t get refunded. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour

We ordered 2 kebabs both mixed! With salad! When they arrived there was hardly any salad inside the wrapped kebabs…. Took the first bite and it was stone cold, the fries were just only warm!! I’m absolutely gutted, as this has always been amazing food! Must be new owners!

Fantastic. Always good, but tonight, the speed, friendless, and quality was second to none!👏👏👏 Must be amongst the best I've ever had, and I've had many from various kebap houses over the years!👍

My local kebab shop in Derby is probably the best ( my opinion) so I use that as a benchmark for all other kebabs. I have used midland kebabs a few times since back from lockdown and I can happily say that every time they have been as good if not better than my favourite shop. Looking forward to nights again so I can have another one.

We had a few bad experiences here a couple of years ago so had given them a wife birth. Having limited places open at the minute we have them another try. Wow! Back to its best! Special mixed kebab - naan cooked perfectly, meat juicy & tender, salad & sauce just the right amount. 10 out of 10! Will definitely be back!

I ordered a chicken tikka donner kebab cost £6.50 because it was under £7 I also have to order chips £2 delivery £2.50 service charge 50p what a pile of crap won't be ordering from there again, chicken burnt grizzly obviously not made today.

Not very fresh food. Seems like warmed up left over meat from yesterday .

Barely any meat on the regular kebabs. Just full of salad. Rang to complain but was just told that that's what the regular kebabs are like. Rubbish kebab and rubbish customer service.

delivery service was good but would never order from here again the kebab we had was burnt and cold i asked for my choice of sauce to be on it there was hardly any on there it was dry and disgusting never order from here again it was grim

Food is lovely but they got my order wrong today I asked for a beef burger and they sent a chicken burger which was not nice it was too dry

Food was fantastic ,chicken was melt in the mouth ,would be nice to have the option of side order of peppers and onion cooked ,would definitely recommend.

chips were hard and we did not expect a full half chicken in the mixed kebab complete with the bones, this put us off to be honest as it was not in the description. the rest of the kebab was fine delivery was quick and the food was hot.

best kebabs ever! delivery time is always acceptable even when busy! garlic pizza is also really nice!!

Lovely food definitely order again in the near future

Kebab had several pieces of kebab meat might as well have ordered a salad nan. Pizza specified barbecue base got barbecue sauce on top and too much also went in bin after second slice. Extra nan might as well have been plain. Avoid!!!

Midland kebab are amazing. Always have great food from there always delivered on time or earlier than just eat app says. Excellent customer service too.

When the food come it was 15 mins late and the food was about cold and the meals are small for how much they cost

This is the first time ordered under the new management. Even though our order was delivered much earlier than expected the food was cold. We have never had this problem before which made it all more disappointing

Food came on time but noticed the order was wrong, called back and was told they would send another one out to me. 45 minutes passed so I called back to be told the driver had given it to another customer so I asked for my money back which was agreed. Driver turns up with the cold kebab and starts questioning me about why I want my money back and not the kebab. Driver VERY rude.. will not be ordering again!

Used this place many times in the past this was the first time we didn't enjoy the food ordered .

Overall ok. Food was a bit dry and although the app suggests adding a naan bread, it does not offer sauce choice, which let the meal down a bit.

Requested delivery of 8pm, pulled up from at 7.30pm from work to the delivery man on my doorstep. When I said I asked for 8pm I got told to put it in the microwave! Both kebabs apparently had garlic mayonnaise on but it must have been a teaspoon as I ended up added more. Also chips and cheese no mayonnaise added at all. Poor delivery time and poor quality

Size of the large kebab was more like a small,so i was very disappointed in that because of the price for it.also ordered chips and they forgot to bring them !! I rang and complained and the response was very good actually,they were very receptive and apolagetic.I collected my order as i was in ilkeston at the time but i live in stapleford and they very kindly remade everything and drove it all the way to me in stapleford. They trully redeemed themselfs.

Very unhappy with how long we had to wait for the order, it took well over an hour! When it arrived it was luke warm. The chicken tasted as though it had been pre cooked, left to go cold and reheated, didn't taste fresh at all. The portion for the kebab and the chips was so disappointing compared to the price I was charged. Spent £35 and feel totally ripped off! Most of the food hasn't been eaten and is sat in my fridge!! You can have it back...very disappointed!

Chicken burnt to a crisp. Salad !! Ha ha 1 piece of cucumber and 1 small piece of tomato, rest just cabbage and onion. And the chips , well they went straight in the bin.

Prdered the midland special kebab and didn't get the shish, there was barely any kebab meat, very small pieces of chicken, salad was just thin strips of cabbage no onion and only 2 little slithers of tomato. The wife had chicken which was overdone and really tough!. The chips we had were tasteless, also had meat samosas which just tasted like spiced up cornish pastie. Wont be ordering from here again absolutely disgraceful.

Ordered four separate meals from midland on Friday night and apart from the pizza there was no complaints with our food regularly order from here with no issues! Pizza was slightly burnt and the tomato sauce was extremely spicy and hot and tasted like it was more chilli sauce on the Base rather than tomato very disappointed with this as never had a bad meal from yourselfs until Friday 23rd Dec! Defiantly won't be ordering pizzas from yourselfs again as tomato sauce isn't spicy or hot or tastes of chilli I had to cook something else for the little ones as they couldn't stand the taste and spice of the Base sauce

Only thing is the delivery price is a little high for what you actually get. Other places do a lot similar price and standard of food with no delivery fees at all. Consider lowering delivery prices.

Pizza was mank and I hate that word plastic cheese and was spicy for u known reasons ended up in the bin!

Had the set meal food was fresh and tasty cooked with real ingredients instead of just some lumps of chicken with some sauce poured in and heated up , the delivery was approx forty five minutes and the meal was a good temp with the salad and lemon for the lamb tikka starter in a separate bag so it was cold and fresh , well done !

Been using midland for nearly 5 years and after tonight no more!! Food was 30 mins late!! No chilli dip! Chips was nearly cold!! takeaway put phone down on me and driver was very rude!!

Order 2 kebabs with salad. The meat was burnt and the salad was white cabbage and nothing else. Next time, I won't bother.

Hi. I order a chicken tikka masala about an hour ago and Ive ordered from you guys about a month ago and ordered a chicken tikka masala and it was lovely! Ordered again today and it most definitely wasn't a tikka masala. Was more like a korma. In fact I'm pretty sure it was a korma. Second curry I've ordered this evening as I ordered from somewhere else and that was awful too. Normally when I've had a tikka masala from a takeaway it's red. However this one is yellow. I don't know if there's been a mix up. But this definitely isn't a masala

Excellent food. Waited over an hour as they apparently didn't get our order from just eat but as soon as they were called and told they resolved the problem and delivered the food quickly and hot.
