KFC Ilkeston - Rutland Street in Erewash

Dont eat here! Worst KFC we've ever been too. Went to this KFC last Sunday evening, food was not good, gave the benefit of the doubt & tried again this evening, even worse, wont be visiting Ilkeston KFC again.

Forgot my gravy and my dip so had a dry food

The staff was lovely and the food wash hot nothing was missing from my order definitely will be going again

All my food was hot all of it was there not had a problem with anything and the team was very helpful

Stone Cold food!!the oil needs changing in the fryers as the chicken was soo overcooked and cold Very very disappointed

All the food was stone cold! Chips were hard. Chicken was dry and tough. Burger was pathetic and bun stale. Rice in rice box was hard and all stuck to the chicken. The worst ‘take away’ meal I’ve ever seen. Will be asking for a refund.

I wouldn't usually visit KFC as have never enjoyed the food or been impressed with the restaurants. Ilkeston was clean, good buzzing atmosphere and great food. 5 of us all enjoyed a variety of meals and the KFC gravy was delicious.

No POPCORN CHICKEN AGAIN it’s part of the meal

The rice box was good. The portion was small though. I would probably go for a bigger box next time

It took an hour to find a driver so the food was being prepared and then missed the pineapple stick from the kids meal. Overall value for money was shocking

Second time leaving a bad review for this place the chicken was getting smaller and smaller it’s was also cold

Hate leaving poor reviews and i really do but this one is well deserved. £20 for two cold burgers, (inc fees) very blunt verging on arsey delivery driver. I usually go with a Maccys on my cheat day but I thought I'd do a change. Won't be making that mistake again that's for sure... For two places litrally next door to each other the difference is night and day. Mc donalds is always hot and correct and drivers are always polite and sound. Genuinely id rather have burnt my £20 then have given it to KFC today. But it was on time hence 2 stars not 1. Could have got 3 times the amount of food for the price and a polite driver at many other places. Lesson learnt stick to what you know

KFC need to add an option to not have coleslaw on the wraps if you don’t want it

Food seemed rushed, luke warm. An item was missing…yet again. Dont think I will be bothering with KFC Ilkeston again.

We visited on Saturday evening and ordered 2 trilogy boxes and 4 drumsticks. On getting home we found that one trilogy box was missing the gravy, the other was missing the popcorn chicken and we had 3 drumsticks and 1 thigh. No problem, mistakes happen, we are human and not robots. However, I tried calling a couple of times and in the end left a message but nobody has bothered to call back. The prices you charge nowadays i would expect some level of customer service and that you are given what you are supposed to have and paid for. A call back would of stopped this review of being a written.... Terrible service. Edit to my review being as I had the response: "we are sorry about this, we hope to do better next time" What you should be replying with is: "I am sorry you didn't get the items you paid for, we will make a note and next time you are passing please call in and get the popcorn chicken and gravy that you paid for but didn't receive" What chance has the staff got at getting things right when the "owner" can't!!! 🙄

Delivery was good but the bun was stale and chips were plain and soggy

Had Zinger meal large. The chips just about warm and limp. The zinger burger bap was old and hard. The lettuce had turned and was bitter hardly any sauce on the burger. Complete rip off threw it away unfit for consumption.

Did not deliver the food, and did not answer the phone

Went on Sunday the 26th, spoke to the woman on the till and they were short staffed but they were doing excellently. Really friendly staff it was great!

They got my order wrong I rang to complain and they said dont worry we’ve only charged you for what you had. Ruined my dinner.. didnt make any effort to recompense me. At £12 a pop sorry doesn’t really cut it. Very disappointed

Food was fresh and chicken was lovely, service was great and seating area was clean also will be going again.

Driver rang to say he was outside when i went out he was nowhere to be seen. Rang him back and gave address again. He rang again when we was outside! By the time we got the food it was cold, the chicken looked like it had been in the cabinet all day

The food was barely warm, the chicken looked like it had been in the warmer for hours it was tough and look like scraps .. not happy at all .. worse takeaway we have received from here, will not be using again

food was cold with all the money their make why can't the delivery driver use the bag

Think there funny told them no drums in the description several times and they filled it with drumsticks

First time ordered and was impressed with how hot food was.

It's KFC, simple, quick and hot food.

Food was normal standard. However the toilet didn’t flush and one of the taps didn’t work. Otherwise quite clean and tidy.

Missing food for the 2nd time in a row not at all happy.

Food was a little cold - missing a can of drink & 4 fries - chicken very hard - seemed overcooked - wrap was very dry & sweetcorn seemed old - expensive - which is worse when food not good - a lot of bones & not a huge amount of meat! Put off ordering again!

Lukewarm chicken, cold fries, at least the gravy was hot. This food does not travel well.

delivery time kept being pushed back then when it finally arrived literally everything was cold chips were soggy and bland there was a ridiculous amount of mayo on the burger so it all just went in the bin.the one thing that was actually supposed to be cold...the drink,was room temperature.

The fillet box meal was stood for a while as the bun was rock hard.. can bang it on the table. The chicken was hard and hardly edible. Haven’t eaten all day and was excited for it but totally disappointed

how lovely are the staff at kfc really welcoming and polite , my food was popping hot and delicious everytime , the fact they make such an effort with the kids on accations makes me so happy my grandkids coloured a picture and there cutting it to make xmas decor how nice is that , well don kfc keep up the good work

Every time I go into KFC then staff is always friendly, the interactive colouings they have for children is really nice and the foodnl is nice

Original delivery time was 19:10-19:20 never received order until 20:20 food was cold, no dipping sauces and a pop corn chicken was missing and I paid a premium for this service it’s ridiculous.

Advised 'on way' and would be with us by 14:22, it was delayed and delayed and delayed - going up a minute at a time until it did arrive at 15:25. Then food was missing (not for the first time, not even second or third even!!) Just absolute let-down

I just ordered a party bucket with two large gravy, however who put the food into the bag put the gravy at the bottom of bag. Yes you've guessed it collapsed and has ruined all the chips and chicken . Spentv37 pounds and can't eat it

I don't know if it's just me, KFC are the worst managed fast food outlet. This sat inside mistake, loud music, kids jumping about to the music. Food ok better than Heanor. Why they don't they clean the rubbish outside . Decided will not visit again

Review revised on the 25th May 2024 We got a family bucket and it was all leg pieces besides 1 thigh. Food tasted horrible too. We won't be ordering from there again unfortunately. ‐----‐-----old review It's ok, got a 10 peace bucket and a 10 peace hot wings meal and it was ok. Nothing to complain about. Service was also very good. It was via drive through.

First time visit to KFC Ilkeston. The place was nice and clean , the staff very pleasant , we got we order . Will use again when in Ilkeston.
