Bennetts Bar, Restaurant and Hotel in Erewash

Under new ownership Bennetts is transforming back to an even higher standard than it once was a few years ago. The new management have only been there 2 months and made such a difference already. Our 2 night stay was in a recently refurbished room. Sheets and towels were crisply clean. The ensuite wet room type shower is separate from the toilet. The bed was comfortable and we got undisturbed sleep. Our meal in the restaurant was well cooked and not the usual Anglo-Indian palette of flavours, possibly because the new proprietors are originally from Nepal and have run 2 restaurants before. Breakfast availability and some minor tweaks would make this 5 star. Car parking is off-street and free

I enjoyed the food while I was on my meeting. I think my customer wanted some too. The lamb chops was fresh and the price for the food was very affordable.

Overpriced due to event in the area extremely basic rooms, every cold feeling as the room as all gray, TV reception was non existent... Bed was comfy spacious but wasted bathroom /wet room

Stayed here as a stop off on the way to the airport. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were functional, and ours was clean and smelt good. We didn't pay a lot for a central location so wasn't expecting the Ritz. We only slept for a few hours anyway, so the room served its purpose. The food, however, was exceptional. We had a family meal with a few drinks, and it was well priced, too. Definitely recommend trying the Nepalese menu and the lamb Palak!

Staying to go to the airport in the morning and decided to have a meal, so glad I did fantastic food and service and the Gurkha beer was brilliant

3 of us stayed here for 1 night as near to our wedding venue, rooms spotless bathrooms are huge fantastic showers and lovely bright white towels, the staff are brilliant couldn’t do enough for us carrying our bags serving us coffee very attentive this week opening a restaurant on the premises we wish you all the best our friends.thank you for your hospitality

Took one look at the room and walked out. We was meant to be in room 8 but there was no way in hell I was staying in there. It was absolutely filthy. The sheets were white with nice brown stains and there was blood smears on the wall in the corridor leading to the room. This place is the kind of place you would use if you were up to no good. Absolutely disgusting. Stay away !!!!!!!

I write this from the 'bed' in the hotel room at 1am. The bed is dilapidated, the room stinks and the evening 'receptionist' doesn't speak English. The wall is paper thin which means what I expect to be fatal sleep apnea of the person in the room behind is so loud it I can't sleep. Not just because of the snoring but because I feel like I need to call for medical intervention. The TV is so far from my bed that no matter how loud I turn it up the tinny speakers can't drown out the bass of my oxygen starved compatriot I clearly share this hell hole with. (Although his oxygen starved body has found it easier to sleep than me). The TV remove also has a channel change button that changes the volume and vice versa. The front door of the hotel has a pull sign on both sides. But I can confirm it only opens one way. I have however noted a complaint from a previous comment that highlighted there were no teaspoons with the dirt infested cups. This has been resolved. All in all, if you want a reasonable life span. DO NOT STAY HERE! Also, no tea bags down the toilet????? PS. Second pic is view from SUPERIOR room. All that was missing from this hotel was a 'live, laugh, die' sign on the wall.

Absolutely disgraceful, shower and shower curtain not fit for purpose ( filthy). Ripped net curtains on windows, dirty hand marks all over tv and light switches. Wasn't told about no services ie drink or food, until we got there. The worst place I've ever stayed in , keep away. Even a hole punched in the wall, and no it wasn't me.

The staff at the Bennet's hotel were very friendly, we never asked for anything such as extra milk or sugar since an Asda is so close by we got it there instead. However if Asda wasn't there I know the staff would've provided that with no problem. We booked to stay here for a family occasion, so it was a place to rest your head. However my mum had slept here beforehand and she had said afterwards that the quality of the hotel had gone down quite considerably since the new owners had taken over. When we got into our room (2) there were no teaspoons, they used demerara sugar in the room rather than the granulated. There was a hole in the wall, like someone had basically punched the wall and they never even tried to hide it or fix it - I don't know if that was a recent thing or if it had been there for awhile. The kettle was half full when we got there (that's a bad sign), whenever we were making tea or coffee in the miniature cups they provided most times the boiling water from the kettle would spill, both me and mum burnt our feet because of it. The floor of the shower looked very dirty and the shower was full of limescale, the curtain looked a bit grubby too. What I still can't understand is there's window slits that look into the toilet?! They've basically covered it with a sticker, this could've been more of a previous owner thing so don't take this into consideration, however it doesn't take that much to fill that in and that so there wasn't that problem. This definitely needs to be fixed. Below the window there was a very visible crack in the wall, 2 of the curtain linings looked like they had been slashed with a knife, as there was a huge hole in them both. It took us a while to work out the lighting, when you walk in there are two switches directly behind that is a dimmer switch that was very hard to work. A few of the lights kept flickering when it was on. There is an electric heater in the room, however you can't really choose when the wall heaters go on and off other than the turny bits near the pipes, the heating will only go on around midnight meaning if you forget to turn it off then you're sweating when you wake up. 2 single beds combined, so that's big. Then a sort of camp bed/sofa bed that's quite smaller than a single. It seems they used a king-size duvet on it - you could really feel the weight on the duvet. There were no fasteners on the duvet cover which shows the holes in the duvet itself. My feet felt like it kept getting trapped between the duvet and the duvet cover when I was trying to get to sleep. The single? Bed is on wheels, so when you wake up your halfway across the floor and see the amount of dust below the bed. When we were staying there the restaurant wasn't up and running as they were getting it redone so we had to eat out each night instead. Apparently it will be another few weeks until the restaurant is up and running again, and it's already been over a month since the restaurant has been closed. I would have thought that it would have been the main source of income for the hotel and they would have tried to get it done a lot sooner. I only recommend this hotel if you need to lay your head down on a pillow for a night or two. However if not just find somewhere else, this place was wildly expansive for the services that you received. The only good thing about this hotel is the fact that the staff is friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Room number 2, refuse to stay in here. Radiator next to the bed (less than 2 feet) scolding hot and broken, won’t turn off. Main road outside my room, noisy traffic all night and really struggling to sleep. And there’s a room above room 2 (marked as staff only) and they must be training for a marathon up there with all the noisy footsteps I heard TIL 22:30. Went to reception twice to complain, she did nothing about it, refused to move me to another room, and tried to lie to me about people above, like I don’t know what constant footsteps and walking around sounds like. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Would’ve rather slept in my van for the night.

Room 6 there don’t have sink in toilet room that should be alway toilet with sink in room.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! Booked a 1 night stay at this hotel for our trip to Clifford Spa. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Our room had hand prints and some sort of spillage mark on the head board. Stains on the bed, dust all over the towel rail, a mouldy shower curtain, hopes in the nets at the window and the room was freezing. We complained and got shown another room. This was very similar, but the main thing was that the lights didn't even work... Finally the third room, the bed seemed better but the handle was off the window, mould on the shower curtain, dust and a random sock behind the sofa and the toilet was leaking and I slipped and banged my elbow on the wall. We didn't even want to shower because the place was filthy! Thankfully the Sportsman Pub and Al Naseebs indian restaurant kept us out until bed time!! We returned to the hotel/restaurant and there was no one in there... locals even pulled faced when we spoke about where we were staying. Safe to say people need to know how bad this place is.

Sorry to say but it’s awful, the room was dirty, the double bed was 2 single mattresses pushed together with no topper, the pillows were flat, lumpy in parts and smelt bad. The purple cushions on the bed stank. The window didn’t close properly, the heating wasn’t working. There was about a 2inch gap between the door frame and the door so we had the light from the hallway the whole night in our room, same with the toilet. The shower was abysmal, zero power to it. The TV Ariel wasn’t even plugged in. I made the mistake of touching the top of the headboard, was sticky… I’ll be asking for a refund!

If I could leave 0 stars I would don't get me wrong the lady who met us on arrival at reception was very helpful and friendly but our afternoon tea was awful the sandwiches where stale the bread felt like it had been half tosted or sat there all week after reading the reviews we decided to eat else where for dinner we were ment to stay for two nights but ended up leaving the second evening as the male staff were grumpy and not very helpful the first night was still drilling at 9 30 as well as this they lock the door at 23.00 till 6.00 we went out so have a cigarette came back at 10.02 to find the door locked and had to call staff to be let back in and after our first night me and my friend were in our room she was in the shower I had just showered and was sat waiting for my friend to finish showering and I heard the door being unlocked from the outside so I said hello and then the door was locked again and who ever was trying to get in the room then disappeared they didn't even knock the door first that made us feel uncomfortable anyway so we spent the rest or the day out wondering around the town centre so then when we got back in the evening we decided to go find somewhere for food we came back to the hotel ate our food and decided to leave and come home so we didn't even stay the second night the overall cleanliness isn't great the stairs leading to the rooms are filthy our bed was two single beds pushed together room for loads of improvement rooms smelt like damp and one of the staff menbers also slept in the reception area as when we came down in the morning there was a blanket and pillow on a leather sofa with a electric blow out heater I wouldn't return there again

Rooms look lovely but no service, paid extra for a superior room, yet hard pillows, no TV remote and 2 single beds put together.

Booked a meal with friends, service was good , restaurant was quiet, which was lovely for us. Food was very nice , good value and well presented . Service was very good .

We had a meal last week tone honest awful could hear microwave ding nanny bread where shop bought I know cos I buy them curry was like soup rice was a tiny portion won't be returning one drop wine 4.25 from asda cost 16 quid very very disappointed

I visited the Bennetts hotel for one night and thank god it was only one. There was no soap, toilet roll or anything that resembled a shower curtain (there was some sort of velvet material tied to the shower rail🤮) and I felt the overall cleanliness of the hotel wasn’t great. There was no one at the front desk when I arrived and it took ages to get anyone’s attention to check in. Definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Table booked for 2 of us at 7pm. Chef was off sick so the kitchen was closed. Nobody thought to contact us to save us the 1 hour drive to get there. The booking was in their diary (the guy showed us it), the boss was called and didn't answer. A complete and utter waste of time.

We booked a table over the phone for 5pm. When we arrived, we were told the chef doesn’t come until 6:30pm (we were not told this on the phone). When we then arrived at 6:30pm, we were told the chef hadn’t arrived so we had to go elsewhere. The gentleman we spoke to wasn’t apologetic at all, and we weren’t even called to be told (even though they had our number). We had pre paid for this on groupon too, ridiculous. Wont be going back.

Staff were so friendly and they made me feel very welcome. I had the Rogon Josh chicken curry and the medium spice was just perfect.

Recent poor reviews were disconcerting before our arrival. Can only speak for room 3. Large, clean, facilities equivalent or better than a Premiere Inn. Shower is magnificent. Problem with the hairdryer was sorted immediately. Car Park is good and free. Didn't dine so can't comment. Would stay again without hesitation. Cost half the price of anywhere within 20 miles on a Saturday night.

Awful Filthy room, Kettle full of mould Walls newspaper thin, heard other guests going to bed all night. Window sill filthy and full of cigarette butts, discarded by people obviously smoking in the room. Bed was lumpy, extremely uncomfortable and pillows were flat and hard. No mattress or pillow protectors. Toilet seat hanging off. Terrible nights sleep followed by a morning without a hot drink All for £87 for the night, will never return or recommend to anyone.

We came here as a family at 17:30 on a Saturday night. There was not a single soul in the restaurant or bar. The sound of silence was only disturbed by the sound of the microwave finishing just before our food was served. You could tell it had been microwaved as well. The chicken tikka starter was not very nice. My wife left hers for fear of being ill the next day. Mains were slightly better, but definitely not restaurant quality. Kids ate all theirs and weren't ill, which is the only positive to come out of our visit. Also, the 'pint' of coke that I ordered was definitely not a pint. It's safe to say that we won't be returning.

Had a takeaway on saturday night -AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL-- Chilly chicken --TOO salty-- Rice --rock hard/tasteless-- Garlic Nan --must have been out of a packet !! Absolutely waste of money ..

We had booked to stay 2 nights after going to Clifford spa. On arrival the room we were supposed to be in hadn’t been cleaned and they couldn’t find the key so we were given room 4. Very basic door frame was broken and not the cleanest. After attending the spa we wanted to clean up before going for food and the water was freezing no hot water. After contacting reception they advised they had contacted the engineer and should be back on within hour this was not the case. After another hour contacted reception again to then be told engineer is stuck on another job and no clue of when they would be attending. Not great so we decided to leave and we’re told it’s not their fault and the kitchen had hot water. When leaving other guests were also complaining and they just didn’t seem to care all they were interested in was the restaurant. Do not waste your money book somewhere else

Outstanding ! Never been made to feel so welcome and valued as we were at Bennetts Hotel in Long Eaton on 11th and 12th June 2023. The owner and staff are so friendly and kind, nothing is too much trouble, the hotel is clean and airy with everything looking like it's new or less than a year old. The homemade Indian food is totally outstanding, extremely good price too !!! We honestly could not recommend this hotel enough and will stay here again next time we go to the spa at Long Eaton which is literally 2-3 minute walk from the hotel.

Went for an impromptu overnight stay on a b&b rate. Check in was simple as pre paid and had room 2. Big room, full of potential and not much else! Big comfy bed with thin pillows and a quilt that was too small. TV was other end of the room and the remote didn’t work. Had to retune the TV to get any channels. No sugar with the tea and coffee, no iron in the iron box, no ironing board and very little storage. No info in the room, hotel or local. The radiator next to the bed would not turn off - even with the TRV turned to off it was hot, so had to open the window. Room 2 is front of the hotel so then disturbed as its on a main busy road. The highlight was the evening meal - it’s an Indian restaurant and you get 20% off as a hotel guest ( if you remind them you are staying or they ‘forget’!) Food was very tasty, service was ok and it was an enjoyable meal. After a restless night with the road noise and heat, we went down for breakfast to be told the chef hadn’t turned up (again). We were offered a cup of coffee, which was refused. Eventually told we would get a £15 refund, only for it to be £10 when actually returned. Overall a disappointing hotel that has a good small Indian restaurant. We wouldn’t stay again.

Not a great start to check in when there are children and women hanging around the reception very dated and needs a good tidy up we had room 4 which was a lovely room nice and big but freezing we tried closing the window but it was broken we did eventually get some heaters after asking several times we had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent the mint and yogurt was very spicy we informed the manager that we would be leaving early his reply was there would be a night porter which there wasn't we was hanging around reception trying all the doors and ringing the bells I eventually got through to someone on the phone to let us out which in event of fire is really bad we will not be visiting this hotel again it's got loads of potential but with 1 man trying to do everything will not work

We bought a Groupon for the restaurant wanting to try out a new place. So happy we did! Everything was beautiful from start to finish, really surprised this place wasn’t packed out. Service is fab, personal and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Food delicious, served beautifully and the portions are very generous (might not look large on the photo don’t be fooled we can eat and were absolutely stuffed) I asked for recommendations as I wanted to try a dish I hadn’t before and the lady was so helpful and very knowledgable. We felt right at home and can’t wait to come back again

Had a voucher for afternoon tea. Worst one we’ve ever had. Nothing was home made all cheap shop bought. It probably could have cost £5 between us. Even left food which you normally never do as normally take some home! Paid £34 for voucher. Probably lovely for Indian meals but avoid afternoon tea! Pictures look better than in real life.

Our family visited this venue last Saturday - we were very impressed by the restaurant, ordering was from a simple menu offering lots of different curries on offer with the management offering help if required with food choices. To start we had Poppadoms/selection of pickles, our starters included Chicken Tikka, lamb Kebabs, etc. The 5 of us all tried a different main dish enabling us to try each other’s, all of the dishes were absolutely delicious. Served with a choice of rices & Nan breads. Prices are competitive too. The actual restaurant is part is a hotel with fresh white crisp tablecloths & linens , very spacious and beautifully decorated. The only negative is that there’s not much atmosphere, but as a family we could speak amongst ourselves without too much background noise. Staff very attentive. No complaints whatsoever and will definitely be coming again.

We visited today for an afternoon tea and whilst the staff were friendly the food was disappointing and cheap in taste and quality. Our first clue should have been that the toilets absolutely stunk, there was a sewage smell and one of the toilets was leaking. A toilet roll had been chucked or it had fallen in the bowl. We should have left then. In the time we were there, they have no other customers, also never a good sign considering you have to book in advance for an afternoon tea. We ordered the afternoon tea, normally you receive a menu and the server will discuss allergies and any dietary requirements, this didn’t happen. We were asked what tea we would like but it was herbal tea sachets not loose leaf which is more common for an afternoon tea. A selection of sandwiches was presented on a platter with plain scones and pork pies! Two iced cherry topped pies in a foil casing and two bakewell slices. It was this that gave it away that the afternoon tea was unlikely to be fresh and it had simply been a shop bought selection plated up. At £14.95 per person it’s not unreasonable to expect the food to be homemade or locally sourced. The scones tasted shop bought and the sandwiches had a hard crust to them which occurs when sandwiches have been cut and exposed to the air. The bread used was the cheapest of the cheap white bread and the filling were very cheap also. Typically an afternoon tea has finger sandwiches these were cut into quarters and you could over look that if the food was tasty. The best thing about the whole experience was being able to catch up with my sister and the waiter was friendly. However overall the whole experience was a complete let down, at the price I paid I could have gone to Asda and bought a serving platter and done a better job. We would never revisit the restaurant based on our experience, stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone we like. Sadly the whole experience was a let down and the owners really need to work on their interpretation of an afternoon tea.

Ordered an Indian takeaway tonight and for the first time we ordered from Bennetts in Long Eaton, and we can honestly say it was absolutely delicious! Past experiences haven't always been the best ordering Indian takeaways (personally I find that Indian meals taste better straight from the kitchen onto the plate).But I can honestly say the quality of the food tonight was exceptional. Brilliant flavour, well cooked and quality was not diminished in anyway with it being a home delivery. Good value for money & we will certainly order from them again!

Booked last minute on a business trip. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Convenient location to walk to local shops etc. I had the chicken tikka on room swervice the portion size was brilliant, it cam with naan and rice as well. The food was lovely well worth the money. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Ordered a takeaway from Einstin's for the first time yesterday. Excellent first impression! Delivery was less than 40 mins from the time of ordering; I live very close by, but this was still faster than most other local takeaway services. All dishes cooked with obvious attention to detail, Lamb Makhani was a particular highlight.The couple of staff I spoke to were pleasant and helpful. On the strength of this, I'd be happy to try out their restaurant. Very pleased with the quality of the food and service overall.

5 stars doesn't justify the experience received, I have eaten in the bar numerous times and always had great experiences. Decided to order takeaway and I cam honestly say the food was amazing! I regularly eat out with a curry club when working away in Essex and have tried hundreds of dishes, this has to be the best by far.Compliments to the chef and all the staff. 5 stars well deserved.

Very polite and friendly service when ordering. Speedy delivery and the food was piping hot with wow factor presentation and delicious flavours. Would highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again soon.

Just a thank you for a lovely lunch for my mother’s 80th socially distanced of course the lady in charge was very attentive and made the day special for us thank you.

Where do I start? This is probably the worst meal I have even tasted. The portions sizes were perculiar for the starter ( one being huge and the other tiny) and the main courses were disgusting. Tinned/ frozen veg and what tasted like instant mash! I had the misfortune to order the belly pork from the a la carte menu and this was more like shoe leather, I couldn't cut it with my knife. My wife ordered a 10oz steak, which in my opinion was not this size, but she did say the chips were good? We wanted to support a local establishment and after recently being taken over, but will definitely not be going back or recommending this place. Interestingly they also advertise on social media that they do 2 for 1 on drinks, but was not mentioned within their advertised times. With the exception of my main, we were still expected to pay the rest in full. I did ask to speak to the owner/manager, but we're told that they weren't there, but would ring me ( still haven't). My advice is avoid and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I had to give one circle, but it didn't deserve this!

First time visiting Bennett’s and would definitely go again. Service was great, staff friendly and accommodating and the food was freshly cooked and hot !!! Thank you for an enjoyable evening. See you again soon.

I went on Friday 13th March at night and have to say the waitress was outstanding! 5 stars to her all the way excellent customer service and very helpful. The parking is atrocious and actually scratched the bottom of my car as the drive in is so low when you drive in. Not good for parking as not many spaces. Clean and tidy restaurant my meal was steak it was okay nothing special but the chunky chips were great. Drinks in my opinion very expensive one shandy and a small gin was £11.20!

As far as the hotel room goes we have no criticism. We arrived to a spacious, clean and warm bedroom. The only issue was that there was one mug instead of two so we had to share a cup of tea. The bathroom was clean and we stocked with towels for us to use both in the evening and morning. Overall: the bedroom was perfectly fine for the price bracket the hotel was fixed to. However...Our issues began when we sat for our evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Service was initially fine with our drink orders taken and delivered a more than satisfactory manner. Our food order was taken and we settled ourselves into the evening. Suddenly, a wailing Welsh lady started to harass the bar staff over the condition of her hotel room. She exclaimed that her bed had been slept in and not remade and most shockingly a human turd had been left in her bathroom toilet. At this point I began to question the sanity of the person who deposits but consciously chooses to look into a full toilet bowl and walk away comforted that they’ve made the right decision. Anyway... 40 minutes passed and our starter of olives hadn’t been delivered. We were concerned at this point that we may never eat. Some couples concern turned to a reality and quickly departed the restaurant. My now slightly weary better half spoke to one of the waitresses and was surprised to hear that our order hadn’t actually been entered into the till. Another waiter hurried to our table to ask again what we had ordered. I asked for the starters to be skipped and for the mains to just be brought out when they’re ready. As our patience began to wear thin another staff member strolled in with a freshly bought kebab; what meat I do not know but if I had to guess I’d say a chicken donar. She stopped at our table to address our sunken faces. As much as we appreciated the sentiment behind her actions the kebab began to waft in our faces as her eagerness to consume her purchase meant that the sudden stop to offer some customer service created a pendulum swing of chicken, onions, mayonnaise and red cabbage. FINALLY THE FOOD! What we will say is that the quality of the food was very good. My chicken burger was very good. It was moist and tasted fresh. So when you finally get to eat we can say that the standard of the food is very yummy. The staff were fair when they realised the errors of the service and corrected their wrongs. We ordered a chocolate fudge cake pudding and a sticky toffee pudding and both were yummy and arrived in good time. We settled up and ended the evening by asking when breakfast was being served and we agreed to a time of 8:30-8:45am. Unfortunately, by Sunday morning we walked down and found that no staff was there, no breakfast was set up and no lights were turned on. We took it as a sign that breakfast wasn’t being served and decided to venture the cold Sunday morning and found a lovely cafe that opens at 9am. Overall: The owner left inexperienced staff members who were flustered and were trying their best but didn’t have the ability to execute their good intentions. We weren’t disappointed by the hotel room but the rest was unsatisfactory. I hope this was a one off.

Stayed overnight as we were visiting the spa in Long Eaton. Was very happy with the hotel. Room was large and clean, with a good sized bathroom and double bed. Staff were pleasant and bar area was nice with cocktails 2-4-£10. Didn’t eat but the food we saw brought out looked nice. Would visit again.

Well where do I start . This was a disaster from start to finish . We get there and none of the rooms was ready and our rooms was given to someone else as we wNted to be by each other . We asked the young lady to sort it out which she tried to but seemed to be running the whole hotel as there was no one else there to help her which was not rite. We finaly got to our rooms and room 8 was ok but absoulutley freezing all day and nite no heating and room 3 was dirty and disgusting . No floors was cleaned the beds had been slept in and just remade not changed no tea cups or milk for a cup of tea. There was hair all in the drawers and room 6 the room was just as disgusting as room 3. ( same problems). We complained from 11 in the morning and was told I’m ringing the manager I’ll get u compensation and when we left and came back from a family gathering the young lady had gone and no luck in getting any help at all. The young kids r basically running the hotel they kept saying the rooms was cleaned . Like hell they was. They offered free drinks but that won’t cut it I’m afraid. They didn’t know how to make cocktails. We went to bed finaly in clean bedding after my husband cleaned the floor and when we checked out there was no one there to greet us it was deserted no staff just put your keys in a box . What a weird hotel and the manager didn’t even get back to theire staff as aparently they had rang her. We booked with booking .com and they took all our money instead of a deposit. What a sad stay and a waste of money but I will get our money back .

Sunday Lunch on 23rd February. The meat mash and parsnips came out first all were stone cold on a stone cold plate. One small veg bowl between 4 people Staff inexperienced and had to double check about every question and didn’t care when we complained.

What can I say. I do not know where the bad reviews come from because myself and partner travel a lot and I am rather picky! But the food, service, entertainment and room was amazing. The staff all had such a family, fun and friendly vibe we felt like we had been there many times before. I would like to thank the owners Jo and Phil for making such an effort to make our night so special, and the chef for the best fillet steak we have had in a long time. I would recommend this place for food or an overnight stay anytime. Can’t wait to go back to try the tapas. Lindy and Jamie xx
