The cavery was nice but only carrots & cauliflower (veg) not included potatoes I drink lime and soda I could taste cleaning fluid in my soda water They offered me another and they also tasted it and just apologise no refund or alternative offered

The food/ carvery was fantastic. The lager drink fine .The ice cream dessert was delicious, but no coffee as the machine was broken!!!

Really looking forward to a carvery so today we went and everything looked nice so we went for the beef started eating and overheard some people moaning about the beef. so carried on eating when my other half said the beef is to tough to eat I thought mine was OK but I also found it to tough to eat when a young man asked me if everything was OK I told him he said it was beefs fault and not the way it was cooked ohh sorry about the long text but very disappointed

Was there to celebrate an 80 birthday and must say I was very disappointed. Stek was supposed to be medium but ot was over well done. No flavors. The nachos was a shared menu for 2 adults. Could not feed two kids on it. Pulled pork on the loaded fries tasted like its been heated several times. Water was hard to get so was served tap water. Will never eat here again

Why do you run out of Pedigree beer? It's happened on several visits in the past and the last two consecutive Sundays!

Yesterday I booked in for 18.15 never had my reservation in the book despite pre booking. Ordered drinks before meal. 2 lads were serving. 1 was pleasant. The other with blonde hair. Kept overlooking me and serving others that came in after me. We finally sat down for our meal. Had starter that was fine. When it came to the main. We was waiting over 45 minutes. People coming in after us was leaving before us after eating. We asked where our main was. It was bought to us. It was cold. The fries looked like they had been cooked in dirty oil. Never will I return to this pub and never will I recommend you to anyone.

My boys asked to go for something to Eat today so I pick here, I had an roast dinner standard plate and son number 1 had burger and chip and the other son had chicken strips with chip,we all had empty plates, loved the food had puddings too the I couldn’t move. Will be going again 😊😊😊

Went for carvery, whilst the selection isn't vast they do the main things you want for a carvery. Meat is always fantastic & full of flavour. Daughter asked for just chocolate ice cream for pudding & this wasn't an issue at all, they came out with a very generous serving & even added chocolate sauce. For £1.79 I really couldn't complain!

The food and the staff were great, very friendly service. Very helpful regarding menu choices for children and food intolerances. The children enjoyed the play area.

Not impressed with food. Left half my beef, chewy + gristly. Turkey not great either. Gravy thin & watery. Overall disappointing.

Beer served in a dirty glass had to request a clean glass. Had a sirloin steak medium rare. It was gristle and could not be chewed. Returned and refunded money.

Booked on line in the morning. Was greeted by a friendly host and taken straight away to our table of 6. Table was very clean. Service at the bar was friendly and efficient. Food and carvery staff excellent. Couldn't fault anything

Was shown to a table given give to take coats off and then was advised procedure for ordering food & drink. We all had carvery - good choice of meat which was lovely and a selection of veg (some looked not so nice overcooked). But carrots, peas and roasties was all good. Served with nice gravy and condiments. Had a Pedigree beer with it. Happy customer

Really enjoyed our first visit. Staff were friendly and polite. Front of house acted really quickly to seat us before our allotted time, ordered at the bar with no problem except the young lad had to ask a couple of questions as he was unsure of what I had asked him. Our starter came out 25 minutes after ordering, I put this down to it being Mother’s Day so not a problem at all. We had our carvery which was really good, plenty of everything and the staff being very good. We finished dinner and I ordered dessert back at the bar no problem again but my only issue was after waiting 10 minutes we were told our choice of dessert was frozen and would we like to order again or take them home with us. I took the latter option again no problem. Overall I believe it was a good meal and excellent value. The front of house team were very attentive and had a quick chat on the way out to tell them our pleased we were with everything except dessert but again not a major issue because we were given options. Thank you for an enjoyable visit we will be back.

It was mother's day so busy. I asked for a spinach tart for the vegetarian carvery and was told they had run out so I chose something else. Someone else in our party ordered after me and got the spinach tart! I think there was a lack of communication between kitchen, bar staff and customers. Also, after confirming to another of our party that the macaroni cheese was definitely on, the serving staff then had to come to our table to tell them that it was, in fact off! However, the carvery was very nice and we all enjoyed it.

The food was delicious and we all enjoyed it. The only downsides were that the pub wasn’t showing on the website for us to order via the QR code, plus it was a long wait for desserts.

Absolutely awful carvery watery gravy, cold peas, soggy tasteless roast potatoes, and the mashed tasted like smash. Had many carveries here but not lately and never again. I did complain and was told it was mostly frozen. The mashed potato is also frozen. Lovely staff but would avoid the food

Thoroughly enjoyed a carvery as a birthday treat. Excellent food, with generous meat portions, along with friendly and helpful staff.

Like to give it more, but the tills went down so all payments by card were not possible. Plenty of people in the pub, but couldn't rate it any higher.

We had a wonderful experience there was 33 of us dining, the tables were ready early, staff were very friendly and the food was amazing, thank you.

Only reason for 3star is the price as its a bit high. Better value for money at sizzling and spoons. Otherwise food tastes good and generally a nice place to visit.

Went for a carvery for my granny’s birthday and the meat was absolutely beautiful!! Lovely food and great atmosphere.

Found our own table, very laid back place (maybe a little too laid back sometimes). Staff are all lovely. One of our ordered meals was wrong but quickly rectified with plenty of apologies and a fresh plate of the right order bought out.

We always enjoy the carvery, the food is nicely presented and most important good and hot !

Excellent carvery, all tasted lovely! Meats were beautiful- such tender beef! Highly recommend, I always recommend Eaton Farm to family and friends. Staff are lovely too, never had any negative issue here, great service. Top marks.

Food was ok but do I think it’s worth the money Answer is no

Usually very good but not today. Pre booked table but no space when we came. Had to sit in bar area which was dirty and smelt of damp and B.O. told that could only accept cash as tills down but was not informed of this before we came. No pigs in blankets and potatoes were burnt. Meat was dry and bland as was the veg. May have just been having a bad day but we will now be looking for an alternative place to dine.

They always deliver at eaton farm in long eaton . They always go the extra mile. Well done .. one negative They could do with new cutlery as its lost its steel plating on the forks and its not a nice feeling in your mouth.

Frozen brussels, frozen carrots, rubbery roast potatoes and cheap vegitarian sausages. One of the worst meals out I've ever had . One of the party had mac n cheese pop chicken. Very small portion. Went home hungry. Not a pleasant experience overall

Reserved a table for 5 people didn't wait long to be seated table was clean and ready. Bit of a wait at the bar but nothing major, staff very pleasant and smiley. Four excellent carvery's one lovely hot fish & chips that wasn't long in coming out the kitchen all ate together. Lovely evening out no problems would recommend. Also went for lunch a few weeks ago with a friend again good food and good staff.

Lovely pub and food was delicious. I had southern fried hunters chicken and was not disappointed at all. Pool table is there and lots of drinks they offer. And my Latter was very nice 👌 it was a bit chilly inside but after hot drink and meal it was alright

Not great at all. Arrived at 2pm as booked and was not ready for us having to move tables together and set table up while we were sat down. I had phoned Eaton farm to ask about ordering off the normal menu instead of festive menu and was told to book online and request this in the comments part which I did. Eaton Farm had not read these at all and we had to sort this out with staff. X 2 pate starters was very poor, not smooth pate as described and not enough bread. Bread very hard. X 2 mozzarella starters not cheesy at all as described. At end of meal I paid at the bar, lad did not offer a receipt so I requested it. After checking the receipt we had been over charged by £35.99 in total. We had been charged for an extra x2 starters, X1 main carvery veg tart and X3 puddings as well as the 6 starters, mains and desserts we had. We attended Eaton farm Boxing day 2022 as well as this year and have been regulars here. But this experience has put us off booking in the future.

No mixed grill, Not much of anything. Items missed from salad but were rectified upon complaint. Typical Green king service

Great carvery place, last time we visited the temp of the room was far too high, we all had sweat before our food in the middle of December.

Vegan options were out of stock despite others we dined with being able to order these, but otherwise food was good and served quickly. Kids meals were forgotten ( we had asked for starters and mains to be served at the same time and this was missed). Dirty plates left on table whilst desert served. Carvery fantastic, and chef serving polite, professional and friendly, almost definitely saved the day!

The food is consistently good which is why we return and now choose Eaton Farm over our previous favourite Cooper Arms in Weston on Trent (we still love it there too). The staff are helpful and friendly too; it’s clear that the manager has high standards and trains his staff well.

Arrived showed to the table straight away. Ordered and food arrived pretty quickly for the people who ordered off the menu. I had a carvery myself. The portions were generous however I found it all to be rather bland. Staff were friendly and helpful

Usually a great service but this time we came on Xmas Eve having booked a table. Wasn't told there was live music on and due to overbooking we were placed in the bar with young kids. Abandoned booking and went elsewhere.

We arrived for our annual Christmas Eve dinner, we have been coming to Eaton Farm for many years. On arrival my 28 year old daughter asked for a no alcohol cider at the bar. The lady serving said she needed to see ID before she could serve her. Because my daughter is 28 she does not carry ID any more. We offered the staff member a full photo of my daughter’s driving licence which was on a phone, the lady serving said ‘I can’t accept that’. I then said to the lady why do you need ID to buy a no alcohol cider. She put both her hands up as if to push something away and very sharply said ‘I am not arguing it’s Christmas Eve you are not being served’. We decided to buy different drinks. We then sat at our table and a singer started their act. They were very good but it was so loud it was unbearable. Even the staff said they had asked to have it turned down but was ignored. We ordered the scampi to be told there was no tartar sauce at all. We could not talk, the bar staff were not nice and the whole experience was ruined. Unfortunately for the first time in many years we will not be returning for our Christmas Eve meal.

My mother in law wanted a carvery you were reccomended. But we found disappointing Turkey nothing was hot and Yorkshire puddings were terrible .No cranberry out and appeared to only be beef gravy !.We were on a taste test before booking for 2 different groups of 8 people .Needless to say not booking such a shame

Carvery Food is always on point 🤤 so yummy! By far the best we’ve had locally and we’ve tried them all that’s why always come back here! Rather busy on Sundays but if you’ve booked a table then it’s fine.

Greeted and seated quickly to our reserved table which was clean and set apart from a knife missing on one of the settings but that was soon rectified by a member of staff. We went to the bar to order this took about fifteen minutes because the amount of people queueing to be served with only two people serving, another member of staff was really needed to help out at busy times such as this. We went to get our meals what can I say excellent service and as i remember from our last visit the food was plenty full and good quality everything was hot and tasted great, basically well done we will return.

Decent carvery but high end prices. Choice of a few beers, but needs to 'up the game' with cask ales, especially considering the brewery that owns them. Reasonably clean and tidy with good service, but starting to look a bit tatty around the edges now. Decent food and lovely desserts. Good for everyone from young families to couples, to discerning pensioners. Perfectly located - bus stop outside and plenty of parking.

Absolutely terrible. We had reserved a table for 8 but they couldn't find it and placed us elsewhere. We waited for over 45 minutes for 3 deserts even though we asked several times where they were. I would not recommend this place 😐

After accommodating 6 of us at last minute for birthday meals on 7th Dec 23 after a ruined booking at the Dog n Duck,because as usual they hadn't anything on the menu . Eaton farm were absolutely fantastic ,beautiful food excellent customer service and very friendly and we had food off the menu not carvery . And I have to say that was the best meal I've ever had . (Pulled pork ultimate spicy burger meal ) Staff were very busy but had smiles on faces all night . The lady who catered our table with purple hair was so lovely . THANKS EATON FARM

I did an online booking for my mum's 90th Birthday meal. The staff had taken note of my request for a quiet table and given us a choice of 2 tables. The food was delicious, and enjoyed by all of us. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though the restaurant was very busy. We were able to relax and enjoy our evening.

I originally booked my table for 12pm but We arrived later than planned due to traffic . Even though we were 1 hour late the staff still found me and my family a seat quickly and made us feel welcome. It’s a very busy place but the staff work tirelessly to make sure you’re served quickly. The price is very good the Carvery is always nice and clean. The Carver has been there for years so it’s nice to see a familiar face. And you know it’s a good company to work for because even after many years doing a difficult job he still takes pride in his craft. I would highly recommend it’s a very well run pub.

Absolutely disgusting when we arrived we were met at the door and asked if we had booked a table we said no the women who we spoke to tutted and looked us up and down we said we would like a table for 3 was then took to a table and said this will do u walked of whilst sat at our table she Approached the table behind us and asked how long before rest of their party arrived as there tabble was booked for 1 pm very agressive towards coustmers and again whilst we were in the que for the carvery she was witnessed being very abrupt towards some asking for a high chair I understand it was busy we didn’t know we needed to book never had to before she made us feel extremely uncomfortable I have mobility issues and she stood and watched my daughter carry both hers and my carvery I will not be back and nore will my family who go weekly we will also inform our friends as Iv never been treated or spoke to like that I woudnt be surprised if she lost you some coustmers

Possibly one of the best carvery I've had. Food was fresh and not dried out. Meat was lean and tender. Service was great. Only issue would be putting two larger groups into a smaller area made it very cramped. Impressive first visit.
