The best restaurants in Broxtowe East Midlands

Extremely disappointing experience. I paid £17.80 for two mixed meat and chips — an absolutely ridiculous price considering what I received. I was told it would be ready in 25 minutes, but ended up waiting an extra 10 minutes once I arrived. While waiting, I watched them prepare the food: the boxes were packed 90% with chips and barely any meat — a complete rip-off. For the price charged, the portions were unacceptable and the service was poor. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Lived in the area for years, but never tried China panda. I recently got told it had new owners and the food was great! been a couple times since also, give it a go!

We went for a lunch . 1.4.25 3.00pm The bar did not have Pino Grigio as they " were changing their wine list " but we were recommended an Italian Gavi as being similar. When I asked for a tiny taste of this I was refused which I thought was very arrogant. (the barman said he was not allowed to give out tasters) At this point I was not however completely deterred so had a small glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc instead which was nothing special. I had previously looked at their menu on line and chosen a particular dish . It was not available and we were told that they do not regularly update their on line menu. I settled for something else as I had with to do the wine. The meal was also a disappointment , very bland . The waiter/ cook who served us seemed in a rush and totally uninterested ( to say we were the only people eating in the room.) I have been to the Vic many times before but the standards have certainly dropped and I will not be returning. (even to see Kelly's Hero's play and that's saying something ! )

We ate at the Nurseryman last night to celebrate a friends 70th birthday. The food was good but the best bit was the staff. So kind and helpful all through the evening. They are a real credit to the pub. Thank you for all your hard work

Went to the Nottingham branch. Food was amazing. Will definitely be going back. Service was great, very friendly staff.

Costa coffee is great - but food a bit expensive..... It's within 'Tesco Extra' at Toton - so its a nice place to rest your feet.....!!!!

UPDATE:- THIS PLACE IS NO LONGER OPERATING FROM HERE..!! NO SURPRISING REALLY - AS THEY WENT DOWNHILL, FOR QUITE SOMETIME... ITS NOW A BURGER JOINT...

Came for a birthday breakfast and cake, Services was fine but wasn't told that all the sandwiches are cold including the sausage sandwich that you'd expect too be hot, wasn't very nice and don't recommend anything from there but the cake. We asked to have a slice off cake to take away but unfortunately you can't, you can only take a quarter off the cake away. You can have a slice if eating in. Also no condiments for our breakfast and no children's drinks or anything child friendly but the cake was great.

Usually good food but last night was horrible, it had a horrible after taste, and the chicken balls was over cooked and the chicken itself was very hard,

Went yesterday and ordered 2 peice meal and one oeice chicken meal a young girl don't think she was even in teens took money of me for my order,while adult was in the background on his phone not very professional if trading standards knew of this I think place would be closed chicken had funny taste of old oil causing me to have upset stomach,chicken was grey meat under cooked! Would not recommend

Done 2 separate shops to get money off each of our members cards (should have been £2.50 off 1 and 50p off the other) was not actioned even though the membership cards were scanned on by an assistant and not s self service error. The app still shows the offers as not taken.
