Costa Coffee - Toton in Broxtowe

Coffee shopp in need of some repairs lights around the shop not working, and behind the counter all the cupboard doors are hanging off and looking terrible, staff are lovely

Ordered at 1pm didn’t get my order till 2:40pm and the drink wasn’t made properly was just milk and my food was cold

Truly useless staff. Ordered 2 drinks (simple orders). Got to the park to drink them and they’re BOTH wrong!

Costa coffee is great - but food a bit expensive..... It's within 'Tesco Extra' at Toton - so its a nice place to rest your feet.....!!!!

Quick service plenty of seats. Nice if overpriced drinks. But no more than you would expect.

Had a lovely hot chocolate here, served by Daniel, who was very friendly and polite. Will be back again.

Excellent small inshore cafe. Friendly and attentive staff, very knowledgeable about the products. A little pricy but worth it for the quality and flavour. Hot milkshakes are to die for.

Festive drink was not great. Mainly due to the syrup not being stirred in so coffee was plain followed by a mouthful of syrup at the end

Items were missing from my order, in fact over £9 worth of stuff was missing. It is an expensive place to order from, so you would at least think they would get your order right...!

Visit here a lot when shopping in the attached Tesco. Was there today Wednesday 24th May 2023. ordered 2 medium lattes and to be in the white cups. the barista put 2 cups on the counter and i said to him that one of them was small. he disagreed with me and as he was about to pour i again said one was small, this time he lifted them up and changed the small to medium. He then just slopped the drinks in, they looked and didnt taste the best. I had annoyed him and he didnt like to be proved wrong and then hadnt the decency to apologise, No customer service from this individual who i had not seen in there before.

Ideal pitstop for hot drinks and cake or light bites! Can get very busy at times, mostly after-school it's rather busy! Always a great treat!

Good place for a hot drink and cake. Only issue I have with any Costa is the highchairs aren't regularly cleaned. If that was done everyday I'd give 5 stars.

Good in-store facility at Tesco Toton store. Met my general expectations as regards access, facilities, cleanliness, great coffee and efficient service.

Love Costa but staff always look rushed/stressed. Although they are lovely it rubs off.

Gets very busy . Didn't have enough seating area. No privacy if you needed it to have meeting or conversation.

Wasn't very fast to say there was only 5 other people in.

Clean and tidy and these days this branch is not too busy despite being in house to a supermarket. The staff are friendly and there are good and strict Covid procedures in place. The branch overlooks the store so you can watch people shop in that's your thing. There are up and down escalators but also a lift for disabled users as well. It is actually a nice quiet area to relax overall with Costa's quality and reputation added in.

The manager and staff here are fantastic, very friendly, and during covid they have been amazing at keeping the place clean and keeping social distancing measures in place. I feel very safe sitting in the cafe

Handy location with lovely choice of food and friendly helpful staff. Lift access to the 1st floor location makes it accessible for disabled people. Above Tesconis a handy location after shopping and plenty of parking spaces including plenty of disabled places. Disabled toilet is located on the same floor.

Don't be fooled, although this Costa is housed in a Tesco Extra it has everything you would expect: dedicated seating, hot and cold food choices and its own set of customer toilets. A great place to kill some time or on a lunch break if you fancy getting out of the office.

Friendly staff, I am a regular now and they always remember my drink. Wish they did more gluten free food but that's the company itself not this store which is conveniently located inside Tesco.

Visited this chain of Costa Coffee for a business meeting the other day. Not been here for years but very impressed with the overall appearance, staff and value of their coffee and cakes. Plenty of seating available..... a great addition to Tesco.

Nice little Cost, the cafe has a lovely atmosphere. Not sure about the recent refurb but still a nice place to sit and chill out. Staff tend to be pretty efficient even when there's a big queue you don't have to wait too long. Be warned that it can be very busy in a morning after the school run.

Costa at Toton, we have been visiting since it opened, today the staff were again friendly & seemed hard working with a smile we will be returning just ensure table cleaning standards are maintained as it is important to us

This Costa has the worse level of customer service that I've been to in the area. It seems that every staff member has no real skill in basic service. Little hint; a smile and greeting goes a long way! I get the feeling the staff don't wont be there. Despite this, the actual coffee shop has a nice atmospher.

Preparing to give blood nearby, I needed to have an early lunch, which I expected a standard Costa to provide. Yes - there was a plentiful supply of sandwiches and toasties available. I chose a chicken and bacon wrap to minimise the bread content. The first half of the wrap was delicious, plenty of chicken and mayo. The second half was so unlike the first; No meat at all, no mayo, only cellulose aplenty. The stems of the lettuce were translucent which suggested that the wrap may have at some point been stored at a very low temperature. Moving on to pud, I looked back to the counter hoping to find some fruit. Yes, it was there - in a child's healthy lunch pack. Handing the savoury contents of this to my husband, the apple and grapes seemed to be a good find. The apple was tasteless but the grapes were lovely. Yes, I know, I should have eaten lunch at home before setting out. The pot of tea was lovely though. Seating is pleasant enough, all clean throughout. Low ceiling increases sound levels. Access to Costa itself is curious, not through the shop, but to the right of the till section. Parking very easy.

I liked it because to cheese and tomato toastie was so good and the frappucino AMAZING. A recommendation get more vegitarian and vegan items.

coffee was amazing, I had a lovely ham and cheese toastie it was divine. it has a lovely friendly atmosphere and to be honest you can't beat a pleasant coffee.

Casually strolling around Tesco with a large trolley, slowly filling it item by item. Carefully adjusting the Tetris game I am playing with myself. After moving the eggs to the top of the pile I looked to my left searching for frozen peas... an then I seen it! It appeared out of the freezer mist that was hovering over the isle! It can only be described as a sign from above.... I had whispers of something much more powerful then the need for a food shop. I looked down at the full trolley an then I looked around to see if I could see anyone. With nobody to be seen... I ditched the trolley! I had spotted a Costa!! Caffeine is more important then frozen peas! The escalator felt like a stairwell to heaven. That was it, I had entered the coffee shop! Arriving at the till I was greeted by a young lady that asked me what I would like. After describing that I’ll take an Americano, Large. She asked politely if I’d like a cinnamon bun... I replied with a “no thank you”. She came back at me with a “are you sure?” I then said “no no honestly I’m fine!” She then came back at me yet again with a description stating that the buns were lovely! I was beginning to think that I should of continued with my shop. However I was low on Caffeine an I needed my fix so I replied one last time with a “I bet they are but I don’t want one thank you!” After the cinnamon buns being laughed off I asked if I could have a little cup of ice with my Americano so it was drinkable from the off... I received a reply from a different barista “you know what would go really nice with a cup of ice!?” I said what’s that!? She stated rather pushingly “A CINNAMON BUN!!” An then she started howling! Not literally, not like a wolf but a laughing howl! I think my straight face made the joke uncomfortable as I was glaring into this barista’s soul thinking don’t you start! I finally got to my table an I realised that they had made me the wrong sized drinks! See all that cinnamon buns on the brain made them do their job wrong! Luckily the First Lady I spoke to spotted my despair an came over and rectified the size issue! After receiving what I asked for the caffeine was lovingly consumed an I felt a warm fuzzy feeling inside! Later that day when I got home with no shopping I realised that maybe I should of sorted my food shop first before the coffee... until next time... #TheCaffeineGhost

Very long queue. Found out later that 2 staff were off, leaving one experienced worker with two apprentices.

Sadly hygiene leaves a little to be desired but to be fair every costa I've been in is about the same, the same cloth is used to wipe steam nozzle as is used to wipe the machine and counter top! Pretty gross really

Visited on a Wed night about 5 what a mess wires allover floor noisy and still dirty just what you want when having a coffee

I rarely go here, but I wanted a coffee. As usual, there were dirty tables with used cups, trays etc. There were three members of staff and they were so slow, chatting amongst themselves (about McDonalds!) as though the customers weren't there.

This Costa overlooks a very large and very busy Tesco store, so by rights it ought to be utter guff, but in actual facts it has managed to be one of the more intimate chain coffee shops in Nottingham and the wider conurbation. The store used to be a Starbucks and isn't massive, so you cannot always be guaranteed a seat, however if you do manage to get one then you will find it a pleasant place to sit and, more importantly, relax with a cup of coffee/tea/whatever that matches the standards you would find in any of the other 17,000,000,000 Costa stores across the country. The main plus to this place is that you can store your shopping in the trolley lockers below and then pop upstairs to unwind after what must surely have been a hellish trip around Tesco. Alternatively you can wait upstairs and sip Espresso whilst your partner gets on and does the weekly shop. There are toilets close by (on the same upper level) and newspapers to read on a daily basis. It's a decent place and anyone struggling around the Tesco store should pop up here and give it a try.

The Costa here has a cosy and warm relaxed feeling to it.the staff who have served me,have been polite,courteous and friendly.the Costa also has free WiFi if you want or need to catch up with things.the prices are also good I feel.

Fab ...they had ran out of cheese and ham sandwich but the lady that saved us told us their delivery had just arrived and she would get that out for us asap. Xxx

Arrived at 7:30 after 2 hour drive from home to be greeted by staff who could not have been more welcoming.I simply could not fault the toast, the bread certainly wasn't that mass produced stuff that tastes of nothing.The tea was spot on. Thanks for making what was already going to be a difficult day,loads better...!!

Lacking in good customer service, staff need more training, quite dirty, wouldn't recommend, I'd give this costa a swerve and go to another branch elsewhere

Really good offer on when I went in where if you buy a hot drink in the morning they give you a bacon cob for a quid! Was really nice bacon too!

Price gone up and pots not collected lights not working right for over 6 months Looks like it's closing ????
