If you like real ale this is the pub for you. they have a dozen or so different ales on at a time and they change regularly. great atmosphere as well.

This is a great pub. Called in at lunchtime for our first visit. It's very pleasant inside, warm and welcoming. Good selection of drinks. And nice light lunch choices. Minestrone soup was excellent. Full of vegetables and very hot. Then fish and chips which were really nicely cooked. All rounded off with two lovely barmaid's who made us feel welcome right away . Definitely worth a visit.

First time visit this evening. Good food and fair prices and a good atmosphere in the pub. Will come back again.

We had the most beautiful bacon cheese burger, best thing on the menu for sure as tried mixed grill previously which was swimming in grease. Unfortunately lots of screaming kids running riot around the pub , maybe we chose the wrong time to eat but this has been the past few times we've been. Not the pubs fault but just a pointer if your thinking of going for a meal maybe go 7pm onwards. Service was fantastic as always

Very disappointed with the food, Sunday roast dinner without mash potatoes, BIG NO NO, gravy too thick, I couldn't pour it on my food, I had to use my knife to get it out the jug, vegetables were frozen, YUK, roast potatoes were deep fried YUK, I will not be going there again unless it improves, apparently the beer is good. parking was good.

Catch up last night with friends/ ex work colleagues Nice friendly staff, warm welcome, Nice food, halloumi salad, hunters chicken, lasagne, few drinks and pot of tea. Sat at table 20 but it was very cold so after we'd eaten we moved up near the bar where the radiator was lovely and hot. Great place to meet up with family and friends.

This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is cool, the service is excellent, they offer a diverse range of beers, and the decor is wonderfully unique. I'm absolutely loving it here.

The grub's solid, but the staff could throw in a few more smiles. Can't really gripe about anything, though. Bonus point – the food came speedy, so the whole deal was pretty decent.

We went for a Sunday roast but some chose Steak pie 1with Mash & 1 with chips. One of the kids had a Burger. Sunday roasts were all excellently prepared and tasty (especially the gravy). Don't expect belly busting carvery style portions from this typical british pub menu but at this price (£12.99) you can't grumble for the portions and I like to save space for a pudding anyway! Everyone agreed the meat and veg was done well although the beef wasn't pink as described but it was tender and tasty. Puddings were also very nice. Excellent warm welcome by staff, quick table service and landlady who came to greet us and asked how our meals were afterwards which made a nice impression. She even discounted our roast dinners because "its January." Pub interior is a really nice bare brick style with smart decor. We managed to ring and reserve a table for 8. There was Live football on, pool table upstairs and the dart board were great to play on after we ate. We're doing dry Jan and it was nice to see two 0% Ciders, a Guinnes 0% and three 0% beers, Estrella Galicia 0% (rare) Heineken 0% and Peroni 0%. Well done on that front. Coffee and tea was decent too. We will return in future when in the area to try out the pizza menu.

Went last week good food great service as always very welcoming friendly staff very clean inside and out 👍unlike the inn for a penny Gedling that I went to on Sunday No Sunday dinner available or anything with chicken in or gammon in didn’t leave much choice Staff just stood around saying they had nothing to do I suggested they could sweep up the outside area as it was disgusting weeks of cigarette ends and litter as it was the week before If I had insisted that much money I would be having a word 👎

Good service but the food was disappointing. Good presentation but the lasagne was too salty unfortunately, I had to send it back mostly untouched. The halloumi fries were nice. The hunters chicken was OK too. I'd probably go for drinks again but maybe not the food.

Ordered 2 course meal with 2 x friends on an offer, but on finishing our main meal we went to order our dessert, but were told we couldn't as we should have ordered them with the main course, but we're not told this when ordering the main course - rip off!!

Arrived around 2pm on a Thursday. Not very busy,so plenty of seating choice.Browsing the menu,there was no special offers,and prices were slightly high..There was a seniors menu,but again,not particularly enticing.There was an offer of a seniors roast dinner,which we had. Whilst nice,it wasn't brill.. Bearing in mind that within a short drive there's a few places offering better options,we won't be rushing back to the Hayloft...

Booked to go with friends. Had a choice of tables when we arrived. Friendly staff. Unfortunately two of us wanted the pie but none were available, but our alternate order was very nice. Greatful that the staff turned down the music volume near our table. Decent value.
