Great menu , lovely authentic pub , great atmosphere

Wonderful experience food hot staff very pleasant and friendly. Well worth a visit

Nice pub, friendly staff, we went out for dinner here recently and it was nice but there were just a few little bits that weren't quite right with our meals, we ordered the same thing as none of us could decide what to eat. We ordered the mixed grill, we asked for our steak on all to be medium rare, but it was more like rare, the chicken on one plate didn't look cooked properly, we couldn't tell if it was that or if it had soaked up the juices from the steak, the chicken on the other plate was really dry and just not that good, but the sausages and gammon were really nice and I will go back to the hayloft for food at some point, staff are friendly, and it's a nice pub to go to

Just a quick visit.. pint and scampi and chips. It was good

What a find, this pub is real gem, the welcome from the staff was amazing. We were very well looked after during the evening. The food was served quickly, was delicious and fantastic value for money. It deserves to do well, we cant wait to go back - soon !

Visited this pub several times. Both for drinks and food. Chose not to have a Sunday roast and go for something off the menu, although it was a chicken burger (spicy and sweet) it was amazing. Certainly will return.

It was a lovely meal but the tables needed a good wipe down as they were sticky. staff were friendly and helpful. Myself and my family were well looked after.

The staff are lovely. The pizzas are delicious. Family friendly - we took our 4 year old. And of course the beer is amazing.

The staff are very welcoming and nothing is a hassle or problem for them. The menu offers masses of choice that would suit everyone.

Have visited twice now with my two granddaughters, food and service very good. Nothing is too much bother. Do yourself a favour and give the steak pie a try, half portion was enough for me. Excellent value for money.

I've visited the Hayloft a few times since it's local, and the food is excellent, always served with a smile! You can't go wrong if you're looking for genuinely good food, and the serving staff doesn't bother you. It's also dog-friendly, which is fantastic since many places aren't. If you haven't tried the Hot Honey dip, do yourself a favor and give it a taste!

Price of drinks very high. Had the same 2 lager drinks in London and they were cheaper ! Very overpriced.

You wont go wrong if you're looking for genuinely good food and one isn't pestered by the serving staff. A dog friendly place, which is great as so many places that aren't! Sunday lunch for seven. All the staff were fantastic, friendly, and helpful. The food was excellent, and the service was exquisite. The Sunday lunch menu was reasonably priced and great value for money. I know the regular menu is equally impressive. Highly recommended.

Catch up last night with friends/ ex work colleagues Nice friendly staff, warm welcome, Nice food, halloumi salad, hunters chicken, lasagne, few drinks and pot of tea. Sat at table 20 but it was very cold so after we'd eaten we moved up near the bar where the radiator was lovely and hot. Great place to meet up with family and friends.

A nice establishment, gets very busy / lively on the weekends but atmosphere is great!

The staff here are very kind here making people feel very welcome and safe. I hope to return and try out the food with family.

We experienced racism during our evening, that was made worse by the landlady berating us/ the people making the complaints, and giving a space to the people enabling the racism. Really disappointing as this used to be our local but as a black woman, I am now scared of what will happen, and also I now know i will not be supported by staff members.

My friend experienced horrific racism last night at this pub, the landlady didn’t even kick the boys out after hearing what had happened (the N word was very much used). And the landlady actually got annoyed at us for standing up to them. Blatant racism by her. Absolutely disgusting from those boys AND those who work there. Never stepping foot in this place again.

Great pub to meet with a large group of friends for a meal. Lovely steak pie and a very.good selection of local beers as well. Friendly bar staff.

Finished at Ikea and fancied some local pub grub, lo and behold Hayloft was nearby! Had the mixed grill (£13.49) which they did cook the steak medium rare as requested + peppercorn sauce (£1.50), southern fried chicken chicken burger (£10.99) accompanied with mocktails (£2.25 each). The meals were really enjoyable and the chips were great, you can see the from the photo they gave a decent amount! Very well priced for what you can typically today. We unknowingly went in at a busy time during a football game, but the locals were fine and were not at all boisterous nor loud. Certainly recommend this local pub for good ol pub grub!

If you like real ale this is the pub for you. they have a dozen or so different ales on at a time and they change regularly. great atmosphere as well.

This is a great pub. Called in at lunchtime for our first visit. It's very pleasant inside, warm and welcoming. Good selection of drinks. And nice light lunch choices. Minestrone soup was excellent. Full of vegetables and very hot. Then fish and chips which were really nicely cooked. All rounded off with two lovely barmaid's who made us feel welcome right away . Definitely worth a visit.

First time visit this evening. Good food and fair prices and a good atmosphere in the pub. Will come back again.

Very disappointed with the food, Sunday roast dinner without mash potatoes, BIG NO NO, gravy too thick, I couldn't pour it on my food, I had to use my knife to get it out the jug, vegetables were frozen, YUK, roast potatoes were deep fried YUK, I will not be going there again unless it improves, apparently the beer is good. parking was good.

We had the most beautiful bacon cheese burger, best thing on the menu for sure as tried mixed grill previously which was swimming in grease. Unfortunately lots of screaming kids running riot around the pub , maybe we chose the wrong time to eat but this has been the past few times we've been. Not the pubs fault but just a pointer if your thinking of going for a meal maybe go 7pm onwards. Service was fantastic as always

What an excellent pub, best local pub in Nottingham

The welcome was fantastic, especially considering our first-time visit; we couldn't find any faults with it.
