Fantastic bar and very friendly staff and lovely food.can’t fault it.will go there again hopefully highly recommend it.

One of mine and my partners favorite spots for lunch in Beeston. Great selection of food for all moods along with a wide drink menu including some delicious handmade options. The decor inside is quirky and the overall feel of the place is very relaxing even when its at its busiest.

Good selection of food on the menu, and a broad range of drinks. Service here was very quick on a busy weekend evening. And dog friendly too

Food was very nice, compliments to the chef, but they forgot the cheese on my daughters burger which we paid for and served her apple juice in a scummy beaker that looked as if it had never been cleaned. Dried up food residue on inside lip and scum that could only be removed with a finger nail. This was our first visit, but wouldn’t return due to concerns over hygiene.

The ladies behind the bar were friendly and accommodating and super professional but sad to say you'd ran out of alot of ingredients for cocktails and found the chap working behind the bar to be lacking in enthusiasm and unable to crack a smile...

Great meeting up place. Good food choice, esp for my gluten free requirements..taken seriously by staff. Hot tasty food, little too pricey for regular visits but FB for celebrations or nights out loved the fresh orange juice and pink lemonade.

Really nice ambience With a large group. We all ordered individually but this was handled well. Only had poached egg on toast but it was perfectly done!

Although I have given 5 stars as we when in Beeston visit there today for the first time my Tomato & mascapony ozra pasta ( chicken & chorizo dish was like warm at best around the edge of the dish and in the centre under the chicken warm but certainly not hot. The other two meals of rdered was fine so I can only assume my dish was left on the pass longer than it should of waiting for the other two dishes to arrive. This hasn't put us off from going there again but just felt I needed to mention it, no doubt the next time we go there all dishes ordered will come out together and all hot. Although only warm at best it was very flavoursome and ingredients tasted fresh as always. See you soon Mr Graham Loyley

The menu is quite small( manly burgers , Brunch and pitta's) , but it makes up for the taste. I had a very delicious burger and chips. Will definitely be returning. Prices are good too

Much improved experience from before. Had a really great meal and service was good.

Cool space over two floors with lots of different seating options. We sat by the window on the first floor on a Sunday morning. Order by QR is a bit impersonal but the service was efficient and the food really good. Can thoroughly recommend the small English breakfast and the shakshuka- both delicious and would recommend. Will definitely be trying other restaurants in the lounge group

Bendigo lounge is good for a typical English breakfast. The service is very nice, even if it's not always as quick as desired during peak times. The lounge is family-friendly and allows dogs to come along.

Popped into Beeston with my Mum, we fancied a coffee and a lite bite, Bendigo was nice and busy, so popular, we had smashed avocado on bruschetta very nice. Good service nice ambience!

Great cafe. We asked if they were new but actually been there years. Just a new make over. There was a sign that said wait to be seated but the staff never really got to us. We sat our selves down- no fuss. Food was great and all we ordered was a tuna melted panini and two vodka merry berries slushy. It was just great and value for money.

I really enjoy visiting this happy feel-good restaurant, Again today food was great atmosphere relaxed. However the coffee was cold and the table service was not the best l sat for 20mins and ended up ordering at the bar this is OK However l was visiting alone and had to leave all my belongings unattended. Not what what l would expect from this well established eatery.

Lovely brunch, good service and a nice place to eat. Easy to order from the table and only a short wait for food. Portion size just big enough. I like the sticker on the tea pots confirming they're decafe. Good cleanliness, and nice to see a checking rota in the gents bathroom actually being used. A little more expensive than other places in the area, but worth it. It feels a little more special going here for food compared to some of our other regular lunch time coffee shops.

Only had drinks, staff welcoming and accommodating. Cocktails fabulous and table service excellent.

They do an amazing French vanilla latte and staff are super nice, quick and friendly!

Very busy at time of visit would visit again

I’d heard good things about this place from s friend so we decided to visit whilst being in Beeston for an appointment. The first thing I noticed was how vast the menu was with lots of great food choices. Having craving a full English for a while I gave it a go (it’s also great you can order it all day too) It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in fact I’m struggling to think of another one as good. All items were at least warm or hot, the produce was fantastic and despite the restaurant being busy downstairs we managed to have a really peaceful and relaxing lunch upstairs. Will definitely return to Beeston just to return.

I had the Buddha bowl with chicken. Despite the food being delicious, the portion size of the chicken breast was considerably scarce despite costing an extra £3.45. Had it been served with a whole chicken breast, I would've given 5 stars for food as the flavour was lovely. But 3 small strips of chicken was a bit pathetic. My Mum had the beef brisket. She stated it was the best beef brisket chilli she'd tried so gave it 5 stars. The mulled wine was delicious. No one asked how our food was during our meal and it was difficult to arouse the attention of anyone because the place was busy. The environment and atmosphere was lovely. I love quirky decor. Some of the toilets were dirty and the toilet roll had ran out in 2/3 toilets. Dog friendly place though!

I ordered sandwiches and chicken shish several times from this shop. It was very tasty and soft, and the salad was very fresh with a very tasty sauce. It is better for you to choose the food from this shop. Polite driver, delicious food, and reasonable prices. I will definitely choose their food again.

Came here with friend for a lunch and we had the best time , food was great and all staff was super nice , especially Riley behind the bar which went extra mile for us and made the experience even better. We highly recommend the vegan chocolate and raspberry cake ❤️

Great venue with lovely relaxing atmosphere. Attentive and friendly staff. Not much good for me though as they advertise gluten free food, and indeed provided an extensive gluten free menu. However, they also stated at the bottom that they could not guarantee any food was 100% gluten free! So it's not gluten free is it? Why lie if you can't provide it, coeliacs can be seriously ill if they consume even the smallest amount of gluten. My partner enjoyed his meal, I had to make do with a drink.

Amazing 👏 I came into the Bendigo Lounge about a month ago by chance when my Mum and I were looking for somewhere to grab a coffee and it was so charming I thought I have to come here for a date night at some point. Last night I did the date night, no booking just turned up, was seated upstairs by the window as that's where we wanted to be. I ordered the Tapas board - Pulled Pork chilli, spicy beef Quesidillas and Potatas bravas with Italian garlic fries on the side and it was the tastiest, highest quality food I've had in as long as I can remember! It was served piping hot and didn't take long to arrive, the atmosphere was so cosy and intimate and the staff are all incredibly polite and welcoming. On to the price, it was £38 for our date night that was his meal, my Tapas, the sides and the drinks! We were so pleasantly surprised as we had guessed it would be around 70-80 for a meal for 2 just because of the beautiful setting your in. Would definitely recommend.

Food and service 5/5, the state of the restaurant was a little dirty. Sat at a table with this lamp above us and it was absolutely grim, not what you expect from this place. Hopefully will be improved when I next visit.

Very artsy place - bit dark downstairs but guess its a vibe. Service was fine. Only got drinks- fresh orange was indeed fresh. I haven't tried the food in years so can't comment.

First visit here even though I live in Beeston, came here with my wife daughter and granddaughter , the place was very busy and we had a wait of 10 minutes for a table but it was well worth the wait...I had the breakfast and it was superb, I hope the photo does it justice...highly recommend.

The place looks lovely and I cannot comment on the rest of the menu however we went last night and thought the tapas was pretty average. There wasn't much flavour in any of the dishes I've definitely been to better.

Had a sausage sandwich which came in soggy sliced bread which fell apart when trying to eat it. My friend had a tuna melt which wasn't very good either. Very disappointed.

This place has really gone downhill since my last review! I am very disappointed in how poor quality the food was my bacon was still oinking! Point of fact do not order the eggs Benedict 🤮🤮🤮or Lentil soup it was appalling in taste and texture!

Stingy is the best way to describe the food. Overpriced - for either how much you get or how good it is. The tapas is a trap to get maximum profit from least possible food. Tapas Tuesday getting a glass of wine included makes the tapas priced about right for how little arrives. Nice place though. Ordering from the app is a painful process of giving away personal data. Just go to the bar. And then wait a looong time for the staff and expect some stuff forgotten because they seem overworked. Good place though if you want a dedicated vegan menu. Or a gluten free menu. Or to bring dogs.

1st Visit whilst in the area, lovely breakfast 1st class service

Really good food but had amazing service today, they overheard me wishing my mum a happy birthday and came out with a slice of cake with a candle on. Really made our day, thank you to all at bendigo lounge

Arrived for coffee and cakes, lunchtime, with my 2 dogs for our first visit. What an absolute disappointment. We found a table easily enough outside. Collected some menus. Scanned the ap and began our order. All great so far. As I'm coeliac the ap wouldn't allow my friend to continue with our order, not a problem better safe than sorry. My friends went in to order as I waited with the dogs. Within 10mins of ordering 1 teacake arrived, great. About 15mins later our drinks arrived, ok. 35mins later, neither of the 2 additional cakes had arrived. This was brought to staff attention who said they'd look into it, at which point it was suggested, by us, a complimentary drink might be appropriate. 10mins later said cakes arrived. 15mins after that came the drinks...obviously the cake had since been eaten. Such a shame as the place looks and feels good but the shambolic service was totally unacceptable. Not going to be recommending or rushing back.

Strange place. The sign at the front says to wait to be seated but then there isn't table service, just direction to a menu and QR code. Why wouldn't I just choose where to sit on arrival? Odd thing on the online ordering too - it asks for a tip. Bit cheeky since I've barely even interracted with anyone yet. No offer of a high chair or even direction to where they're kept, despite having ~1 year old with me. I then asked in the notes of my online order for some water. Instead of receiving any with my order, I was just directed where to self serve it by the bar. Just seems lazy. Maybe I didn't want to leave the 1 year old unattended at my table while I went to get it? The food is nice enough but nothing mind blowing. Tiny portion size for the fries borders on insulting. I'm not tricked by you putting them in a little mug.

The service was incredible and the waiters were very friendly. Our food was very tasty. The homemade drinks were very refreshing.

We have eaten here many times over the last couple of years. However today it was well below standard. Ordered a full English breakfast and my companion ordered a chicken dish. Food came out at a reasonable time but my god it was awful. Cold wet mushrooms, dry baked beans, cold sausage cold bacon and hash browns missing on the plate. Waitress was friendly and brought the hash browns out and apologised. However the food was just not good. It cost over £12 for that meal and the chicken meal was around £14 but both not great. I went to the upstairs toilet and the condition of the room was horrendous. Excrement all over the toilet, full dirty nappy in the open bin and urine on the other cubicle floors. I assume no one was checking those facilities. Very poor. Staff messing around in the kitchen, clearly didn’t give a hoot about the food or place. Come on guys, you can do better than this. You’re not the only venue that do food in Beeston so don’t drop your standards and get complacent. You are only as good as your last visit. So have a meeting with the staff, raise the standards, clean the toilets and make sure your food is piping hot when it’s brought to the table rather than it sitting under the hot lamp decomposing and drying out.

Extensive gluten free menu, lovely surroundings with many cosy spots to make your own. Very good, efficient friendly service. An excellent place to meet friends for a bite to eat and/or coffee but also very child friendly so great for families. Warm and welcoming.

Good beer. Had a German beer that I've never heard of before. Service was very efficient.

My favourite bar in Beeston! Great food, welcoming staff. Whenever anyone suggests where to meet in Beeston, this place is always top of my list.

Love this place and will go again,great menu options and generally caters well for food intolerances. Was therefore disappointed with a surcharge of £3.40 to substitute one sausage from meat to veggie, making a £6.50 snack cost £10.

Great place once again. I have been to many of these lounges all across the country, and I have to say we've never had a bad experience. They are beautifully decorated inside and so relaxed and almost informal inside. Very spacious seating, which I love. Who wants to sit next to strangers? Why you eat, right? Food is brilliant. So much choice for carnivores, herbivores, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarians & people who only eat yellow etc etc honestly give them a go

Can never go wrong with one of the lounges. The food is always good and always arrives quickly. The veggie and vegan options are vast- one of my main pulls. The staff in Bendigo are friendly and enthusiastic. It's a cosy environment with quirky decor which creates a chilled and warm atmosphere.

visited today 30th April for a change from Nero or Costa but wished we hadnt. great menu if dining but the latte was not good, no strength of coffee at all. shall not be going again

Way to expensive for drinks £10 for a glass of wine

Firstly I wish to say we love this place food always lovely as are the staff and service. We visit at least once a week sometimes twice but on the last being Saturday teatime we were not so impressed. I had just put my knife and fork down as finished my food and immediately plate was whisked away . Maybe it wouldn’t have been so bad but my husband was still eating. I work in customer service and I highly recommend your staff need re training this is the height of bad service never experienced anything so bizarre as the vacant table next to us had dirty plates that had been left. I have never seen the particular person who served us before maybe he was new?

Had brunch. Good selection. Staff very friendly and helpful. There was a piece of China broken on plate which should not be used! Pointed to young man who apologised.

Our third visit. Excellent each time. Enjoyed the food and ambiance equally (the lattes we had are superb, with the 'extra hot' option greatly appreciated). You can order through the app or at the counter, so can please all types of patron, again, a great idea to do this imho. Nice touches all round and the chap who served us seemed like a good guy also.
