Beefeater Grill in Broxtowe

We had mountains of scrumptious, mouth watering food and great service from Michelle and Sue. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast 🍳🍳 Review written by my 9 year old.

Lovely breakfast and really attentive, helpful staff. Especially Michelle who looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. Will come again!

Stood at the "please wait here to be seated" sign for 5 minutes. To then be "shouted" through to the bar area and told we could choose our own table. The staff were not unfriendly. But they were very loud shouting to each other. The meal arrived and was "warm". The table we chose rotated and wobbled as the food was put on it. My other half ordered a meal with chips. I ordered a meal with "triple cooked" chips. Both of our chips were identical. Very white and just warm. Will not be returning.

Walked in and had to wait at the door for over 5 mins to be seated when there were two people stood at the hot plates waiting. To then be told we could find our own table in the bar area, collect our own cutlery and sauces etc as there was no tables. Yet the restaurant was empty.. the restaurant was also freezing. We sat, had a look at the menu and left.

The meal started of really well and the server was really nice but was doing so much . Starters can't fault till the mains come and cocktails. The mushy peas looked like they had been under the hot plate all day and rock hard and the cocktail wow they were in drinkable as being so strong. Was told they wasn't fresh and out of a pre made bag.

We popped in for breakfast at Millers Barn on our way to take the tram into Nottingham centre Michelle was extremely kind and helpful, she obviously enjoys her work and that is very attractive Michelle was on hand to help my husband who is a wheelchair user and though I’m sure staff training is good Michelle went above and beyond the basic requirements of the service industry W HT

I had booked a table in the restaurant but the restaurant was closed and we waited at the desk for a while and nobody appeared so we went down to the bar. We were just told to find any table, whereby I had to go and get the serviettes cutlery, sauces etc and set the table, this was not the dining experience we were expecting, had I known I could have gone to any cheaper pub chain. We ordered our meal and refillable soft drinks, when I asked for a refill I was told no we had to go to the bar and get our own. There was absolute no service and we left feeling very let down.

Turned up on spec, it wasn’t busy at all. Was told only bar food, even though there were people in restaurant side. Bar area was cold and very tired, virtually empty. Some of the chairs were even threadbare. Told to find a table and order at the bar, had to find menus for ourselves. I wanted to use my blue light card, should be 25% off main menu, I naively thought this was whole menu, and they offer a selection of 4 starters for £16, we fancied that as we like tapas type food. The server scanned my blue light code, and I paid. When I got back to table I thought it sempt a lot, so I checked the bill, we had paid for food, bottomless drinks and no discount. I went back to ask and was rudely told not discounted because already discounted! Because I thought they’d have already started cooking them I didn’t quibble. Surely the server should have told me, discount hadn’t been applied due to already discounted items. I would have probably changed order to 2 main courses instead. When food came it was hot but disappointing to say the least, potato dipper, were basically steak cut chips with melted cheese, and some barbecue sauce. The chicken strip were okay came with barbecue sauce, the garlic mushrooms okay, came with barbecue sauce, the prawn cocktail was tasteless, I was surprised there was no barbecue sauce! They must buy in bulk!

We went for our daughter’s 34th birthday on the 25th April. From start to finish outr server (Mo) was absolutely fantastic!! Very caring, attentive and professional. He even bought my daughter a birthday drink bless him! He was amazing. We all had the best meal, by far that we’ve ever had. The food was delicious and ALL the staff were brilliant! Ordered the LASAGNE when it arrived it was clear that this had been microwaved with black burnt bits all around the dish it looked terrible. Staff running around like headless chickens so could not make a complaint. Texed a complaint as is usual no reply whatsoever Beefeater pricers Wheatherspoons quality

Came in today for Sunday lunch, served by Iga,she is a credit to you, nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely, thank you to everybody.

We went here for my daughters birthday, the service was great by Amanda she went above and beyond by giving us chocolates as a lovely gift for my daughter.

As a lone female away on business the staff here went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable - seating me discreetly away from the busy area, where another lone female was dining and near the staff station. They were attentive throughout and the service was great. I have had some uncomfortable meals dining alone when working away and this was a welcome change. Thank you.

Everything and was great...we were a group of fifteen aged from two to sixties there for a birthday celebration. A lady named Amber was are table server and was 100% excellent from beginning to end. Food was brought out in unison and prepared very well. Bar service was great too!

Came for an all you can eat breakfast for my 50th birthday. When leaving Michelle and Amber gave me a small bottle of prosecco and a box of chocs and wished me a happy birthday. We visited here with 13 family members the food was very average no Sunday dinners were available on Sunday. so we were very disappointed we waited well over an hour for our food to arrive and waited 25 minutes for drinks sorry but we won't be returning due to extremely slow service with extremely average food. oh they also charged 99p for a bbq dip which was very small

I honestly haven't had a better customer experience. Mat greeted me on arrival and was so polite & friendly that my kids asked if he was a friend of mine. I was shown to our table after being given a quick tour of the facilities and advised to ask if I needed any assistance. ( I did ask for poached eggs & vegetarian sausages) The food was tasty and hot / fresh. Molly & Michelle both went above & beyond to ensure the whole family's experience was a fantastic & memorable one for all the right reasons. I will be back and now won't go anywhere else.
