Friendly staff nice fresh food good atmosphere and clean place. what else do you need to spend a good evening with your family. the 20 mile drive for us was worth it. Definitely coming back.

A family favourite. We always enjoy the food - chicken kofte beyti is our 10 year olds favourite. Service is friendly too and we like the relaxed atmosphere.

Food was a bit too salty for me though I know that's generally how Turkish food is. It's just that I couldn't escape it: rice was also salty, salad was also salty, fries were of course salty. Service was excellent though. Fast and there were like 3 waiters to a table who all seemed to care about their jobs. Overall a pleasant experience.

I went to this restaurant by seeing the reviews.. I ordered one falafel n hummus, but it really disappointed me. The falafel was not properly crushed and cooked and also the quantity was very less ( just 4 small nos of not properly made falafels and one spoon of hummus)....extremely overpriced I felt .. not worth for money at all...!

Do not order from here. I ordered a £20 mixed meter starter and was sent frozen onion rings, shop garlic mayo, a million white bait. Food was cold, shop bought houmous. When I called was told it was user eats problem. Rubbish food don't waster your momey Food: 1/5 | Service

Took the mickey with a pint of Shandy. So charged £5.50 for the pint of lager and £2.50 for the lemonade even though it came together as a pint. Making it £8.00 for a pint. Waitress just shrugged her shoulders and said we don’t do half pints so you get charged separately. When you are ordering 3 pints of shandy it adds to the overall bill. It wasn’t busy for a Saturday night and the attitude of the staff when you question the bill it makes you realise why.

I ordered Kunafa through deliveroo . But disappointed . There was no pistachio or anything on the top / nor any side sauce. Below average .

First time eating at Anatolia. Without sounding too negative first, the food tasted very good and no one can complain about portion sizes. I ate it all. Only negative points are from everyones dishes, the seafood starter tasted great but the actual seafood was well over cooked, to the point of being hard and rubbery. The only other negative was there was a really noisy hen crowd in making it difficult to talk and have conversation with my family who i hadnt seen for 6 months. The owners did nothing to ask to keep the noise respectful. Also disabled or access for those who need help is not good. Doors need to be held at all times. Toilets are upstairs making it impossible for those who cant manage stairs. Overall it was OK but needs some improvement.

I ordered a takeaway meal which was advertised on the website as being £34 but was charged £42 and was told that the website had been updated for a while so I must be looking at the wrong thing (I wasnt and double checked after the call). The food is ok but prices keep increasing and less and less food is included each time we order. If there was another turkish place close by we wouldn't get food here.

Each time we go, it's less food for more money. Website said mixed grill takeaway for £34.90. It was £42 and the staff told me I was looking at the wrong website. I checked again and I wasn't.

The food is nice, but the prices are currently too high. For instance, £10 for their watery lentil soup is excessive.

Good food, good service and nice big restaurant. Plenty of space. We had chops and ribs at lunch and it was very nice indeed. Not given 5 stars as although it was wery good I only give 5 stars if there is extra special or unique which is not here. It is though a high quality Turkish restaurant.

The lamb kebab is amazing, the best I have tasted!! I do not recommend the lamb beyti kebab, it didnt taste nice and didn't look like the picture.

Highly recommend dining out at Anatolia, the food was of a high standard and the staff were polite and friendly, I had the chicken wings for starters which was so tasty and cooked to perfection.

Lovely food . Brilliant service

The fresh cooked shish kebabs are awesome. So tasty, and perfectly sized meals with the rice and salad. Whilst waiting for the takeaway, the food delivered to waiting tables also looked incredible. The restaurant is airy, well lit and comfortable to sit in and enjoy a great meal with family or friends.

An average experience in all departments. We got offered a drink at the start, but nobody returned to our table for the duration of our meal.

Had a delivery meal by Uber Eats. Absolutely appalling food. Overcooked white rice, hard tasteless unseasoned meat, both chicken and lamb, a very costly mistake but one which will never ever be repeated. Uber Eats make it virtually impossible to contact customer services. Avoid.

Had a meal delivered this evening and was the worst Turkish meal I’ve ever experienced. Overcooked tasteless white rice, chicken sheesh was lumps of hard, dry unseasoned chicken and lamb kofte tough, hard and gristly. Absolutely appalling and Uber Eats make it virtually impossible to contact customer services. A very expensive mistake but one which will never ever be repeated. Avoid!

We have been coming here for some time since opening. Ww have had ups and downs. Sadly tonight my lamb kebab was cold. It was replaced but took so long my guest had waten most of theirs ( chicken kebab) . The replacement kebab was hot but as hard as cardboard. They have changed the previous meaty kebab to worse than a chip shop equivalent. Asking if due to our regular custom and problems tonight anything could be done and chef flatly refused. In summary cold cheap kebab meat. Happy to give cold at full price. Thay have lost our custom. Real shame

We ordered platter to share. The grill is good but the rice is too small for two people or even one person . We finished all the rice before and still have lots of meats left . We asked for extra rice which we don’t mind paying but they brought another very tiny portion of rice and want to us charge 3£ . If they could have given a bigger portion for that price or just give more rice would be good .

Not my kind if place more fast food than dining experience

Food quality seems to being going downhill. Used to absolutely love this place, but I won't be ordering from them again. The Lamb Doner Iskender Kebab was frankly revolting. I wouldn't serve it to a dog.

We had a retirement party there today and they couldn't have been more obliging. Good food, good service and endless patience.

The restaurant was very quiet but it was a Thursday. It was cold inside so I felt uncomfortable. We ordered the meat platter which was okay, nothing really exciting. The plates were cold and as the restaurant was cold the food cooled down very quickly.. Noone came and asked us if the food was okay but when we paid our bill I told the waiter how I felt. She didn't have a lot to say.

Great food at a very reasonable price. The staff were attentive and the service was quick. The best thing, the food is halal 🎉 Can't recommend this place more and I'll be going again

This place needs a lesson in customer service! Me and my partner took our friends out for what we thought would be a lovely relaxed meal but what we experienced was quite the opposite. The waitress came over and brought our mains however informed us that she had only put one of them through the till so we would have to wait for the other one, gave a brief apology and walked off. After 25 minutes we still hadn’t had our main, even though we’d witnessed the same meal being taken to another lucky table. At this point our friends had nearly finished their meal and we were still waiting so I asked to speak to the manager. I was informed there was no manager about but the food would be with us soon. After another 10 minutes the meal finally arrived, served by a rude waitress that informed us “you’ve got your food now though” (not the point but we carried on) we then ate our main while our friends had finished. So the whole point of taking them out for a meal was pointless because we ate at completely separate times. The waitress then tried to clear our plates away while my partner was still clearly eating and had food on his plate! The sides were also cold by the time our main came out and the whole experience was very poor. I’m not one to complain but the rudeness and attitude of the staff was enough to tip me over the edge. We were then told the manager had ‘popped out’ and they didn’t know what time he’d be back, to which then another man came out and spoke to us, he was also very rude. In the end they gave us a free bottle of wine but the whole evening was ruined because of how they handled this one error. A real shame because the food was tasty and if it weren’t for the customer service we would have enjoyed it. Won’t be coming back.

I recommend this restaurant to anyone who comes to Beeston, they must visit it. :) The portions of dishes are suitable for the price and their taste is simply a delight for the palate ☺️ The baklava is indescribable, the taste is something everyone must try.

Mothers Day Sunday 2024 table for 6 plus Grandaugher, bottled Effs quality as expected, Anatolia Luxury Feast for 5/6, filled the table, chips, bread, halloumi, food was excellent, total bill with drinks £117.

Lovely food. Portions too big (don't like wasting food). Service odd - within the first five minutes of arrival four people asked if we were ready to order, but once we'd been served our main course, no-one cleared the table or asked if we wanted the bill.

Food was great, very authentic and fresh. Service was absolutely awful though, no waiters around and it took them ages to serve us.

Took my family for a treat. Was not very busy. Was clean and tidy. However the food was average, lacked flavour and considering me being a huge fan of Turkish cuisine, was not impressed with the food. If not for Tiam’s interaction and friendly service it would have been all regrets.

We turn up without a booking, they have found for us a table, the food was good a well prepared the price is very good no wonder is fully packed, will visit again

Having booked ahead for a 7pm table we arrived with a few minutes to spare. There were 4 of us and they showed us to a table for 6. As we sat down a lady came and told us that we had to be out by 8 as they needed the table for other guests. The only other solution was that we could move tables mid-meal and that they would help us to do this. They tried to rush us into ordering before we had taken our coats off. Halfway through they came and took one end of the table away which was their solution to putting us in the wrong place to begin with. The main course was fine but we weren’t offered desert or coffee - they just bought the bill after our main and so we paid and left, never to return. The pinot Grigio had some kind of sediment in the bottom. There was no toilet paper in either of the cubicles and the door locks had been disabled so don’t expect any privacy when on the loo. The place was extremely busy and waiting staff young and inexperienced. Management was disorganised and uncaring. Overall our visit was a shambles.

If you want a real kebab worth real meat then this place is incredible. Incredibly fresh and delicious! Truly authentic atmosphere and attentive but not pushy staff. To notch stuff!

We went for an early dinner. The food was tasty, and the service was good, too. We have if they could give us chips instead of the rice and they were not flexible.

Absolutely spotless, nicely lit and oodles of space, staff very friendly, Had a takeaway lamb kebab, Gorgeous food, this is proper Turkish kebab, real slices of lamb ,and not the reformed meat served usually in kebab shops, Naan bread was soft, meat,beautifully cooked and seasoned and the onion sliced so thinly. Absolute pleasure visiting this place definately going again, but to sit and dine inside, Was very busy at 2.30pm on a Saturday afternoon.

Was due to go here in February. Rang to book a table then couldn't go on date I booked so rang to cancel . I'm glad I did because they didn't even have me down as booked . Not very good service at all this could have ruined my evening won't be attempting to book again. Had to put a date when we went so put closest date but never steppe foot in the place and I'm so glad I never wasted my money here

The food was good, but portion size a bit lacking. We got the Lux meal for 4-5 people, but to be honest, it was a bit small for £60. It came with some free bread and dips, and the lamb chops and ribs were well cooked and very juicy. The rice was OK, and also a bit lacking. Salad was very small - more a 1 person serving than a 4-5 person serving. Overall - I can't complain for £15 per person (we were 4), but could have done with more salad, more rice, and more donner meat. What was poor though was the service. Restaurant was practically empty - and we stood at the door for about 5 minutes waiting to be seated. Didn't bring us plates with the bread/dip (had to ask), and getting the attention of a server was particularly difficult.

I've been here atleast once a month since opening and I've never had a bad meal. Everything is seasoned perfectly all hot and fresh prepared infront of you. The staff are so attentive couldn't ask for more.

Decor is great, this is a kebab takeaway food, salad is below avarage not good, lahmacun is rubbish, soup is good. This is not a proper restaurant, very disappointed, like a gimmick

Food wasn't horrible, but it wasn't tasty either. Can't say I disliked it, staff were OK and price wise it was reasonable. But the food just wasn't for me at all.

Visited 19/12 The food was fantastic and incredibly well priced. Service... that requires a little explanation. The first hostess that we were served by was fantastic, recognised my partner's voice and asked if we were the couple that called earlier. She left at 5ish. The food service was great, but we were left for quite some time after we'd actually finished our meal and made it clear we'd finished by moving our plates aside. All the servers and cooks were at the front talking, which is fine given there were only 3 occupied tables; but not when we're at the other side of the restaurant waiting for the bill. We were told boxes were £1 for our leftovers which was fine, but we were then further basically given it to put into the box ourselves. Not sure if this is a food safety policy change, but paying for the privilege to box our own food felt out of place. The lack of attentiveness let down what was otherwise a great experience.

Food was nice but some of the staff weren't. Difficult to get their attention and they had an attitude when you did. Such a shame put me off returning

Nice service and decor, good selection on the menu

Ordered delivery and food was bland. In contrast to what their menu says, the hummus we received was literally just ground chick peas while the lamb shish lacked flavour. Overpriced for the quality.

I absolutely love it as a European they gave me great satisfaction. Food was amazing in my opinion u got some free nice stuff to keep you waiting for main course and nice tea. Keep it up :)

Visited today for lunch with a friend. The food was excellent! We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains. I forgot how generous the portions are! Hence I requested a takeaway box to enjoy the rest later. The free home made Turkish bread & dips is massive in itself! With 4 large beers the total bill was only £52! I love this restaurant! Beeston is such a lovely shopping & eating experience! Staff are lovely also. Whilst shopping afterwards the smell of my take home food was enough to make other customers book a table! Thank you for a great lunch. X

Not happy, my first time here and felt like they cared more about their profit, than customer satisfaction. Ordered a lamb pide, I'd had one before at a different Turkish restaurant and LOVED it. Ordered one here, came like a pizza, with cheese on. So disappointed as I've never liked cheese and a Pide is like a pizza, but better because there's no cheese. I've never, ever liked cheese (minority, I know). Checked the menu, no mention of cheese, when we asked, the wait staff lied to me and told me that's how pide is made, when I told her thats not true, she then said thats how we do them here (Fine, but put it on the menu!). Didn't offer to redo one for me without cheese, so when we asked for one to be redone, she said yes, but would be charged extra. Needless to say, I didn't reorder and sat there with my measly starter while my family ate their lunch. Did not feel like they cared about their customers as long as they got paid. My first and last time there. I wondered why it was so quiet in there, despite Oxjam happening, 2 other places we tried were rammed! Oh and the mixed meze was way over fried so my partner left whats shown on the pic. EDIT TO THE REPLY - Thank you for your reply, however it was your manager who made the decision to put money over customer experience, but I appreciate the 'standard' reply.

So Bad Just having a lamb shish, some of the meats are totally unchewable, disgusting and very disappointed. I have been in many Turkish restaurants, haven't seen anything like this bad before, this meal is the worst, please do not look at those pictures, just so disgusting They probably use the cheap or the worst part of cut for BBQ dishes, this shows a big gap in skill and knowledge about cooking and catering

This is my favourite Turkish restaurant and my second visit today (I live in Leicester but if it was local I would visit much more often). The food is delicious and such good value. The restaurant and decor are great and the staff very pleasant

First time visiting Beeston, lots of choice for eating out but settled on Anatolia. Its tough currently for Hospitality, and a reminder for restaurants that if food is poor but service is great, guests will return. If food is great but service is poor guest wont return. Service here was poor, some basic fundamentals overlooked. Once seated, had to ask for a menu after nearly 10 minutes. Main courses were served whilst starters still on the table. Sat for 5 minutes unable to eat mains until we asked for cutlery. At no point were we asked if our food was okay then upon leaving there was no farewell, despite walking past members of the team. The sad thing was that this appeared to be the norm for other guests aswell. Food was okay, yet the experience was let down by service. Really disappointing, time to step it up guys... remember its all about your guest, people and their experience.

Date night from hell. What started as a fairly pleasant evening meal, turned pink pretty quick. The chicken was raw at best. And to be told that we was incorrect and that the slimy, pink chicken was cooked by the arrogant chef and waitress was disappointing to say the least. As far as I am aware you shouldn’t pay for what you do not receive, unfortunately Anatolia does not understand this concept, and we ended up paying for the meal in its entirety. Looking at previous responses, I will just point out. I am not a rival business.

We visited this restaurant for the first time, upon the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. A lovely environment, friendly staff and gorgeous food. The price was reasonable too. We had a lovely evening and we will definitely go back.

Service was poor at the start. Sat waiting to be served for at least half a hour. Other tables got served who came after us. Eventually when we did get served we had to stop the waitress, who had a bit of attitude. Food is good, but not the quality of taste you might expect from a Turkish restaurant. I had a halloumi starter which was nice, but could have done with staying under the grill for a bit longer. The complimentary bread and dips was nice. The bread especially I could tell was freshly baked. The main was nice and couldn't fault it. The desserts were nice too. Anatolia is potentially another restaurant that doesn't require parents to control their kids. Noticed one of the waitress' on her phone multiple times rather than working. I don't know if one or two waitress' were rookies, but I wouldn't be surprised. Overall I'd come again, but service needs tightening.

Great food and service! Good value! The lamb ribs were exceptional! Friendly staff. Kebabs etc. and the cooking all on show so that you can see what you are ordering and then experience the cooking smells.

A great first visit here. I thought it would be quiet as it was a Tuesday, but was pleasantly surprised to see it 75% full. Service was good without being overbearing, and they took time to explain the menu. Some complimentary bread and dips were brought out before the starters, so be warned to come hungry! Falafels were okay without being spectacular, halloumi was tasty and had a smoky crust from the grill bars. The mixed grill platter was great. The selection of kebabs and wings was fantastic and the portions were plentiful. All had a great bbq flavour from being grilled over coals. It came with rice and some grains with a roasted tomato & herb flavour. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Brilliant! Server's are amazing. Cheffs are top-notch. I think family run with others employed. U do get the best food here! Worth the price u pay. I would not go any where els. Cheers u guys, u make it special.... only thing for me that I would change for me... more bread and dips and better sauce options. 5 star! I'll be back every week.

My last visit to Anatolia was lovely. I came there with my family for lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was fast and the food was good. The price was good too. Me and my family had a great time. It was the first time my family stayed in Nottingham so thank you for being lovely and thank you for the free chai 😊

I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday with my husband. We both didn’t like the food. It was one of the worst experiences for us. I ordered patlıcan Kebab, I mean that’s what they called it but it was nothing like that dish. Eggplants were uncooked. I couldn’t even bite them easily. The köftes had way more fat than you would expect. This is not my first time eating kebab, I am Turkish and know how it should taste. After my first bite, I saw hair on my plate (the waiter said their hair was short so it must have been mine. Which was very dismissive. I had my hair tied how would you assume this) so she didn’t do anything about it. Kept saying no one had a that long hair in the kitchen. And asked me if I wanted chips or rice (you would assume this was her trying to fix this experience) so I was like ok I will just get chips. And you know what happened. When we asked for the check to pay we saw they included the chips in the bill as well. I never saw such a thing. When you have a negative experience restaurants offer you something else instead to make the experience less unpleasant. They don’t charge you for what they offer. I will never go to this place again. I took the time out of my busy day to write here because that’s how horrible I felt at this place. I paid so much money for the food I didn’t eat, the food that had hair on it and the food it was offered. So overall was the worst restaurant in the UK. Don’t go and waste your money. If I had simple got a sandwich somewhere else it would have been much pleasant experience than this place.

Very decent prices and lovely staff too although it would have been nice to have our table cleared after we finished eating. The waitress didn't take our empty plates before bringing dessert for one of us so the table was still cluttered.

The food, service, and ambiance of the restaurant are just excellent. They have good vegetarian options too. Portion size and platting are impressive. Must visit. Loved the Kunafa.

Well where do i start the free appetizers were awful bread didnt seem fresh hummous lumpy and bland cacik was nice olives were really bitter, the chicken iskender was not bad according to my wife my chicken shish was very dry salad was nothing special lacking sumac and no oncu sauce chips were standard lamb donner was ok the pide was ok but the dough did not taste fresh and the table sauces were pathetic, stuff you expect from a kebab shop like seriously you dont make your own garlic sauce or chilli?? cant be that lazy surely the service was not great dirty plates left on table long after eating whilst drinking tea in my opinion bosporos and tipoo are way better restaurants would i go back again HELL NO!!

Food is always tasty, and servings are huge! Restaurant is always busy and sometimes difficult to get the attention of staff, but food alone is worth it.

I was shocked at the platter I ordered they say it is for two people but it ain’t. Sauces were awful. Portion was so small. This place is a rip off. Never been to a Turkish place that is this bad. I felt like I was ripped off. This Turkish place was more expensive then the ones I went to in London.

Food good as usual but service poor on this occasion. Main brought out before we received starter. When we pointed out we hadn't received the starter we were told you can take or leave the main. No apology given. Waiting staff looked as they would rather be anywhere else than at work!

Clean place with really nice aesthetics. The shish kebab I had was delicious, fresh and non-greasy. Superb waitstaff as well.

Cheap price with best food. The waitress lady is so nice and always smile. But I hear one waiter (looks like from my same country, East Asia I guess but not sure)whispering laugh at us to others "they use fork all the time". But we're from other country so just different eating habits. I don't know how to use knife to eat chicken wings. That's shouldn't as a joke. It makes me feel offend. But for the all restaurant, I give the 5 star review, perfessional chef，exotic atmosphere, And perfect food.Soon back again.

Second visit here and this place never fails , I came here with my wife, she had mixed meat wrap and I had lamb and chicken donor with chips and salad and it was delicious... big shout out to the staff who we're very friendly and welcoming.. Will come back again.. and again .
