The Nest Cafe in Broxtowe

Always a quick stop place for something to eat and drink.Never crowded so always quick to get served Friendly staff and a nice pleasant atmosphere.I have used the cafe several times when in Stapleford.Plenty of on street parking for 1 hour or a pay and display car park opposite.

I’m not sure why this restaurant has so many stars, the food quality is absolutely ridiculous, missing items on both my orders and to make it worse the food itself was dry and stale. Sort it out!

Nice environment, but 30 minutes to make a sandwich is a bit of a joke

Grim, my food out half an hour after the rest of the party! Burnt fried eggs if that’s even possible, cheap meat, worst brekie have had! Waitress was the only thing nice about the place! Toilets disgusting

Light and friendly atmosphere very clean floor and tables great indoor seating area as well as outside and fair prices the lady who was serving was very quick and efficient and made sure that I was happy with the drinks that I purchased can not fault the service that I have received would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who is visiting stapleford or passionate about wholesome service

They do some really nice food here,- burgers, omelettes, jacket spuds, salad, toasties, milkshakes, cakes, coffees , water,.... Was served by a very friendly waitress. The place is clean and spacious , with some outside seating.. Prices are reasonable for food and drink....

Food was really late and no communicion with the restaurant, didn't answer the phone. So didn't even know if it was comming. When it finally got here. Food was cold and not cooked good I couldn't eat it so through it in the bin ,25 pound is alot of money

Well first of all brilliant that they deliver a full English on a Sunday. But the food portion and quality was poor and 1 bit of tough bacon and 1 okay sausage is poor. For £7.99 won't be ordering again as it is not worth the money 1 bit. Portion was a child's portion aswell.

Service was OK. Had mug of tea in a chipped cup, toast bread very thin and very under toasted with margarine. My grandson had hot chocolate and chocolate cake. I paid £11.99 which I thought quite a lot for what we had. Place needed a good clean lady serving was quite pleasant. Sorry will not be recommending or returning.

Food was delivered on time, nice driver however the food itself was of poor quality. The egg was Over cooked almost burned, I paid £1 extra for the toast (was sent 1 slice cut in half) toast was under cooked with no margarine or butter on them. I ordered cheesy chips but was sent a very small portion of cheesy fries instead. Also the beans leaked all on the outside of the box. Food was unseasoned. First & last time ordering from here.

Sausage cobs was stone cold and the quality of the ham is like tracing paper. Compared to most other deliveries this is truthfully poor.

I think I wanted it to be better than it was. The atmosphere is strange, there is so much space in the middle of the room, along with the colour I think it feels very cold. Ordered breakfasts and coffee. Coffee wasn’t very hot and the breakfast was disappointing.

The cheese omlette was flat and devoid of cheese and chips overcooked. We were ignored by staff when we tried to mention it The worst cafe I have ever been to. My advice is don't go there.

Needed somewhere for lunch on a long drive from Whitby to Bristol and we found ourselves here almost exactly half way. Had the Super Burger which was very good.

Ordered a beef burger half an hour before closing time, owner then came up and said closing soon, so need to do as takeaway, which was fine with, until a girl came outside and gave me a polystyrene thing, with a squidgy soggy chicken mushy thing inside a stale burnt bread roll with 2 tiny strings of onion, and ABT 5 little strips of lettuce, along with soggy chips that tasted like they had been re-heated in a microwave. Never going there again.

Pop in for bacon n egg cob ..could have had a bit more bacon ...plain . Standard cafe.....

I found the staff & management to bee welcoming...polite & very helpful..after ordering my food it was brought to my table within minutes & without delay..enjoyed my food and would return anytime

After visiting the nest cafe several times I found it to be warm and inviting food tasty and fresh very polite service worth another visit

My friend and I, decided to go to Stapleford for a change of scenery, we wanted a drink and came across The Nest Cafe, there was plenty of room inside and the staff were very helpful. We would certainly recommend it.

My friend and I went to the Nest Cafe on Derby Rd Stapleford for lunch. The Toasties were OK and came with fries. The inside is a little tired and the toilets need some work to make them appear a little more hygienic. It's not likely we will go back again.

Overpriced! Food quality, when charging £8+ for a breakfast, should be of a higher standard. Sausages fatty. Hash browns didn’t look like they’d seen an oven or grill. Toast was limp because it had been placed in the box. Too much fat on the bacon. Either render it or remove it. Not a pleasant experience I’m afraid :-(

Visited here, for a quick coffee while waited for my MOT. I ended up having food and more coffee :) thanks to the lady and the young girl.

Decent quality bacon and sausage, plenty of flavour. Ordered collection and even though I was early for pick up they were super quick to complete the order. Deffo order again

A simple cafe that looks good. Not sure if the food matches up to the image you get from outside or even the decor on the walls. I'm not saying there was anything wrong with it but I wonder if the original vision was something more than the kitchen can provide

Out of approximately 15 tables there were only 2 tables with customers and one person buying a takeaway coffee yet we still sat waiting to be served for 10 minutes before giving up and leaving.

Fantastic little cafe. Delicious burger and chips today. Came out piping hot. Clean toilets too which is a plus, with having ocd and covid hovering about. Really nice lady serving today and meal came out quickly. 😊🤩

Full English breakfast was lovely, good sized breakfast plus toast. (like my eggs runny though) 😁 unable to finish all of it because I was stuffed.. Staff very friendly, definatley will be trying other meals there too. Highly recommend. 😁

Good atmosphere good food and coffee

It's unfortunate that due to a small number of reviews, a couple of people's (justifiably) low ratings due to lengthy waiting times have dragged down the average score so much, when even those affected state that apart from that, this is a nice place. It is clean (and I'm fussy), the staff were really friendly, the food was very nice, the coffee is great and the prices were very reasonable. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

It's a no nonsense place, they seem to know a lot of the regulars by name. Portions are above average. Price is reasonable, service was great.

I regularly visit this cafe I find the service and food to be of excellent quality the staff are very helpful and caring towards each customer and nothing is too much trouble the food is always fresh and tasty

Banamilkshake. Warm milk with cream. No banana. Full english breakfast with apparantly lincolnshire sausages. They arnt. Just some other basic sausage. Eggs over cooked and black on the bottom.

Normally would give 4 stars but today was a 30 minute wait for a coffee when we was only ones in the café plus asked for extra bacon and got extra egg with my full English

Very slow service 3/4hour for a cup of coffee

Lovely staff and lovely food but they have no heating so it's freezing! I had my food with my coat on and could not enjoy my meal as much as I would have liked due to how cold I was and its winter.
