Sun Shine Fish and Chicken in Broxtowe

Went yesterday and ordered 2 peice meal and one oeice chicken meal a young girl don't think she was even in teens took money of me for my order,while adult was in the background on his phone not very professional if trading standards knew of this I think place would be closed chicken had funny taste of old oil causing me to have upset stomach,chicken was grey meat under cooked! Would not recommend

called for a kebab chips kebab meat no flavour and dry cold when got home which is only 4 minutes away really upset and disappointed with the food first time I have used this place tried ringing them to complain no answer so left this review will not be using again £9 in the bin

I’m so happy to have a halal chicken shop near my house. Tasted delicious. Top quality food. Must try and good add on to the area.

Went to chicken and fish today from my super!. After a couple of pints in sir John's pub cross the road. Great experience in both venues Recommend the meal from chicken and fish. Very friendly staff

The chicken is tender and amazing, we went at 4pm, waiting time is good, I had the boneless chicken, husband had the fish and chips, cans of pop 90p! I would highly recommend 😋

The food was cold and asked for fries git chippy chips which were cold and looked anemic.. really wasn't happy with the food

Visited late at night close to closing time and the lovely lady made fresh chips for us! Really enjoyed them!

Great food, had kebab meat and chips and t was spot on. I'm impressed with the new blonde, very helpful and professional, always greeted with a smile, probably the best thing to happen with this shop.

New owner was extremely rude to his staff infront of customers. Food was not very nice at all, after having to wait for a very long time. I would not waste my money here!

Very very disappointed with these new owners had very high hopes for it much to my dismay. Asked for a large kebab got home to find that if it was a large kebab then thank god I didn't ask for a small one, chips were cold and small portions, the guy was on his own and disorganized burgers cooked on a George foreman not seen that before. I really hope it does improve as would be good for us to have a decent takeaway at last and hopefully put K&M out of business

Chewy chips, large fish was small. Not nice.

Very nice we had 2 fresh fish cooked a fish cake and a battered sausage which was nice but the chips were a little cold but it was still enjoyable..

Popped in at 8.30. only wanted chips which were served up quickly. However they weren't very warm. First and last time for me. Andy's is further away but they know how to serve hot food

Cheaper than most kebabs for similar meals. Got the order wrong the first time. They charge 40p for a pot of sauce. Nice chicken kebab though

Food was cold even though I’d carried it home in a insulated bag to keep it hot, also asked for the offer in the window and was given and charged for the larger potion which I wasn’t happy with as I can’t eat that much food. I’m upset I wasted my money on food that was cold and that I couldn’t eat.

Absolutely terrable. Chips undercooked and swimming in greese. And the customer service was worst than the chips after i tryed to return the un edible food they refused to give me my money back and instead got irate and tried and belittle me.
