RUDE staff, girl behind the bar refused to serve me. I came into the duke to have a drink & food with my friend, not expecting to be death stared by a worker, it’s unprofessional!!!!

Fantastic food and excellent service! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend—will definitely be ordering again!

Went there to celebrate our 17th anniversary together, very good place for food hot and tasty, bec our waitress was brilliant couldn't be more pleasant. Recommend you to anyone,prices reasonable.

Rockeado escuchar domingo de Pascua solo para encontrar aparcamiento y pub vacío pudimos ver al chef de pie sobre el carvery a través de la ventana pero no hay clientes, así que no entramos. Mi hijo entró habló con el chef que le dijo que había bajado colina así que nos fuimos y comimos en el agujero en la pared a la vuelta de la esquina.

Terrible place, rude incompetent staff who leave people waiting and carry on chatting behind bar like you’re invisible, bar manager named Craig is useless doesn’t have a clue what’s he’s doing he couldn’t run a charity shop

Not great, annoying app required to order whilst eating in! Can’t pay without filling in your name and email?? Dodgy! Miserable food, pizza undercooked, frozen chicken, plastic cheese and the onion rings! Think they’re making a 12,000.00% mark up on the onion rings

Literal best burger i have ever had, pizzas are great too but my personal favourite are their burgers with king sauce, got food many times from there would deffo recommend kind of fell apart in the photo as was holding with one hand but still

Stayed over for business. Bed rooms are old and carpets worn in some areas. Beds are hard…very hard! Gym pretty non existent, tiny and old bits of kit Lifts are a real pain and once you have stayed a few times you’ll get to grips with the two lifts and no stairs! Staff are friendly but the bar is expensive … be prepared! As is the food which is average!

Went for a meal with my family after a shopping trip at east midlands outlet. Ordered the lasagne and sorry to say but It was extremely disappointing, It was overcooked and bone dry. I took my meal up to the bar and explained that I couldn't eat it as it was dry with hardly any sauce only to be greeted by the landlady who approached me in a rude manner and said "it shouldn't be dry, I put two jars of sauce in it" not knowing what to say, I just apologised and continued to explain how I couldn't eat it due to it being dry, the landlady then shrugged and offered me my money back. When she came to the table to give me my money she continued to be defensive and insisted the food wasn't dry because she puts two jars of sauce in and she hardly ever gets any complaints regarding the food. Feeling really uncomfortable and awkward I just said it must be overcooked as all I could taste was pasta and cheese. Found the landlady really rude and defensive when she could have just apologised and rectified the situation. Safe to say we won't be returning didn't feel welcome at all.

Went in with hubby and mother in law. The chair i sat on was sank table had left over bits from last visitor. There is cobwebs and on visiting the toilet you notice the huge wet patch on ceiling and wall were rain water leaks in and is crumbling plaster.
