Beware. We decided to meet at Sutton in Ashfield Costa. We assumed as it was only place open Saturday it was their car park. Stayed just over hour and a half and it appears it is owned by parking eye. Most expensive coffee ever. Go down the road to designer outlet where parking is free. Never going back

Useless - waiting 35 mins for a drive thru order is disgusting. It is supposed to be a quick service. Get some more staff on at busy times!

My first Costa ever. What a load of overpriced hype and poor service. Went in with my child, partner and her dad. Ordered a few things. Bacon cob and a Christmas panini sort of thing and a babycino thing Asked for sauce on my cob and didn't get that. (Take into consideration these cobs are £3.50). The cob had maybe two slices of bacon. The tiniest amounts I'd seen on a cob. We were told to wait and our stuff will be brought to the table... So we waited.. And waited. Eventually we got sick of waiting so my partner has to go up and ask and was told they forgot and would bring it over. So we wait again. And nothing. She goes up again and said they'd forgotten cos they were so busy. (they'd served about 3 customers...) Eventually the third time we'd gone up we'd finally gotten the drink we'd asked for. By the time we'd got our little ones drink we had already drank our drinks and eat our food. How places like this can still be in business is beyond me

Absolutely loved coming here today, as a cater it’s quite hard to to take residents to places and today I took one of the residents to costa, the two women was brilliant and understanding. Thank you so much

The staff are not very freandly except one who is really nice.he couldn't help you enough. Mansfield Costa on the other hand is just fabulous and all the staff are great.

Costa coffee is FAB and so is there staff. I take my Jack Russell Eddie round the resovior at Sutton road.

So today I had a free period from school and I decided hey, why not get my favourite drink from costa. I went in and all was fine. I went back to school to then have a taste of the whipped cream on top. And OH MY GOD. I had the shock of my life. Out of date whipped cream submerged my taste buds. The anger I felt was immense. I felt sick and violated. Costa should check deathlike this as a national company with a high reputation. Considering the drink coat £3.95 I expect better things Costa. 😡

I visited Costa today and asked for my usual order of white ICED chocolate which for months has been my order and never been a problem. Today I ordered a white iced chocolate and was rudly told you can't order what isn't on the menu. I find this very sh#tty as I was asked when ordering an iced latte instead if I wanted any syrups which ISNT on the set menu (caramel iced latte etc). I won't be visiting again as I am appalled at the reply I got after months of ordering this and the fact they don't accommodate for peoples needs. Just to add, I once ordered this and was told o It wasn't a problem, to then get to the window and hear the staff slagging off the order I made of white iced chocolate. Not customer service at its best AT ALL.

Cosy little Costa right outside city centre. They Rocky Road brownie that they currently have is lovely. I hope it becomes a permanent fixture on their menu. The staff are extremely friendly (this whole town is full of friendly people, it’s been nice). They also have 30 minutes free WiFi. Great place for a brew. ☕️

A local coffee shop on a pedestrian walkway through the centre of Sutton in Ashfield. Free Car Park ( for for 45 mins) next to the coffee shop. Serves lovely fresh coffee , tea and instants. A great place to call and rest when shopping.

Expensive food and staff without experience with customers. No clean properly table and floor. The design is looking nice.

Too expensive , the coffee is nice but it’s definitely too expensive , McDonald’s are the same tasting coffee as Costa and Costa is 10X more expensive .

I use this Costa regularly and in my opinion it is the best. The service is quick and friendly and you always feel welcome. In my opinion this is all down to the way the manager handles both staff and customers.

This has to be the worst Costa I have been to. When this café opened it as was clean and welcoming as any other Costa, however over the months it has gradually slipped into being an uninviting place to get a coffee. I went in today and there were six glaring problems. 1. Chairs stacked on tables in corner. It was a saturday afternoon and half of the restaurant was closed with chairs on the tables. This is not inviting and does not look good or welcoming. The half of the café that was open was fairly busy, so no real reason to do this other than the staff can't be bothered to clear the extra four tables in the back area. This area also contains the cafés only sofa, so closing it deprives customers of the most comfortable spot to sit in the café. 2. No music. Terrible atmosphere, like drinking coffee in a bus station. 3. Steamed up windows. This Costa has always had steamed up windows. You think by now they'd have sorted out the ventilation so that this wasn't the case.4. Damaged floor. Part of the floor has become uneven and rather than fix it the manager of this branch has removed the table that stood where the damaged floor is, put duct tape around the uneven area and stood one of those yellow wet floor notices over the area. It looks awful and has been like this for weeks, if not months. 5. Mop and bucket leaning against the end of the counter. Looks dirty and unprofessional. Again, lazy staff can't be bothered to put it away after using it. 6. Door to back room open all the time giving customers an unpleasant view into the back room where the mop, bucket and brush should be kept. Absolutely no reason to do this, unless the staff are literally too lazy to push a door open. When this café opened the local paper heralded it as the beginning of the regeneration of Sutton town centre. Oh dear.

Had never been here before. Relatively busy but not a long queue as one often sees in Costas. Hubby ordered the pigs in blankets panini and I the brie and cranberry one. Nightmare at the counter, the assistant making drinks was shouting along the queue to discover what drinks were wanted in advance, every customer referred to as "Babe".Cringe. The till lass also felt the need to call all customers "Babe" and also raised her voice to all. Very odd. I just wanted to put my hands over my ears and leave and wish we had. Our food came , accompanied with more shouting ,as we hadn't been given an order number table ticket, my panina was soggy at the edges and hubby couldn't eat his , the bacon was more fat than bacon and the whole thing wasn't hot. our dogs appreciated it though!! I wanted to take the food back but couldn't face more shouting and skulked out of the door fervently hoping no one was going to shout "Bye Babe"

La primera vez fuimos este particular Costa. Ambiente agradable y de descanso. Todas las ventanas con la condensación.Servido por una amable pero desordenado y ruidoso buscando Barista. Un minuto ella estaba limpiando con su cubo como ella me dijo, y luego me sirve capuchinos. Sin olvidar preguntar si quisieras chocolate en ellos.Mis dos capuchinos era la peor y más débil que he tenido de cualquier Costa. Donde estaba el café? . Ella probablemente olvidó cualquier.No volvería.

Love the cheese and tomato cooked sandwiches. As always coffee and hot chocolate are great. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome

Costa was fine set in an old pub. For some reason the ventilation leaves the place with permanent misty Windows. Usual COSTA fare so you know what youre getting.

Last year was treated so well by this branch of Costa. I had a festive drink and it was first class. I was upgraded to large for free and I got a fantastic service. Defo rate!!!

Not many people in mid morning, so served quickly and efficiently. Cakes great, but the lattes could have been hotter.

asked for a skinny latte with only half a shot and got exactly what i ordered so cant fault it good service but very very busy

The staff are friendly and helpful, it's fairly new so the interior leaves nothing to be desired, good location, recommended.
