Absolutely love birds bakery, everything is so tasty and smells delicious while your waiting to be served and there always busy.

Lovely food here, baked goods bacon sausage sandwichs. Very nice.

Didn't go to Birds academy stopped and turned round outside

Good food, good price. Easy to get to and park. Friendly staff. What more could you want.

Nice selection of hot food, cold snacks and cakes. Bit of a free-for-all inside with people queuing up all over the place. Staff were pretty efficient but didn't seem particularly friendly, which was a little disappointing.

Love Birds bakeries, this one has a tiny coffee shop inside, is open early and sells the usual range of bakery goods and hot and cold snacks. Parking right outside on the level. Staff are friendly and efficient, they have a bread slicer and accept card payments.

I was staying in the Travelodge opposite the bakery at at 5.30am every morning I was woken up by you deliveryman in his truck banging about you could wake the dead even though there is a 7am delivery restrictions on noise in the area you ruined my trip for the last 3 morning's I will be complaining to the council and your head office as is not fair on people trying to sleep

Lovely display and stock of foods both hot and cold. Was 4pm so was not expecting much to be left if honest but there were some hot snacks and some lovely cakes available. Purchased 4 to 5 small tarts and a hot snack as well as hot beverages because there were a few bags of cakes and too much stuff on top of counter which I didn't want to mistakenly pick up I managed to leave 3 cakes behind which was the main reason I went there. Although the ones I did manage to pick up were very nice im abit miffed (fault on both sides) to have not taken all my order away. Lesson learnt to not be so cautious when trying to pick up my own order.

Recently opened but the service is so poor Waited 7 minutes while only two staff served one customer I even sat down this continued for further ten minutes ,taking 20 minutes to get served I complained why has is took 20 mins when there is only two customers They just looked at each other that it no big deal I for one won’t be going back to such a poorly run bakery

I'm not one for leaving reviews but had such a good experience I felt compelled to leave one. Called in Birds on the way home for something to eat and got a sausage and bacon roll. Everything about this was perfect, the food was really tasty and cooked to perfection. The member of staff who served us was very friendly and helpful. Will make sure I visit Birds more often in the future.

Just walk over the road to the other sandwich shop. These clowns want to argue why I can't pay for salad on my Tuna sandwich. Absolute joke customer service. I even raised the matter with the head office but unfortunately they are unable to add only takeaway ingredients because if Covid and allergens apparently. Am I alone in thinking that for nearly £4 I should be able to have more than a few rings of cucumber on my roll, even when I offer to pay any surcharge.

Had 2 bacon rolls this morning for breakfast and they were amazing So later went back for cakes an bread rolls for out tea Really nice place Staff are wonderful very helpful and friendly Definitely call again 10/10

We went here for one of the lovely fresh cobs but I decided to have a steak pie and it was really nice, hot too had to wait for it to cool to eat it. We also had a sausage roll that was really nice too and we also had some chocolates from there that were really nice and rich, the cakes and pastries looked amazing too. No dine in options but a great little bakery with nice friendly staff.

Lovely bakery, lots of choice and friendly staff. Can highly recommend the trio of rudolf reindeer cakes and the 6 mince pies and clotted cream deal. I Will be returning ladies thank you. Lovely to see the staff wearing masks etc and customers too. Great responsibility.

After Today's Experience From A Staff member. I will certainly NOT be returning! Someone needs to rethink there customer service role! After being told we was allowed to come into store you could clearly see a young girl staff member had a problem with us standing in the shop then said staff asked my mum if she could move forward which my mum replied she wanted to see the cakes. The said staff member waved her arms about and rolled her eyes! Shocking customer service. Again if it wasn't for customers coming to that shop to buy products the shop wouldn't stay open. Maybe a course in customer service would be recommended for staff member!!

Not take cash! Me and my 5 year old son was starving and only had a £10 note on me They said because of the pandemic they not taking cash... well my answer to that is don’t open up and stay at home then! Also the cashier looked like she was ready for a debate... so I Went next door to Tesco and got some food and paid cash 👍🏻 Keep cash going don’t let these company’s make us a cashless society!! 🇬🇧

When you buying sausage and bacon cob you not allowed to have ketchup and brown sauce together... one or another . A bit disappointing ....

I have just been to the Birds bakery at Lakeside, which is next to Tesco Express, Nr B&Q in Mansfield. The staff, especially the young lady McKenzie, were all very attentive and did everything they could to assist us. Cutting all the fat off the bacon, re-making my cup of tea, because I wasn’t happy with it, generally doing everything they can to make us happy. We even decided to stay for cakes after!!! In today’s society this seems to be a rarity.. Birds- you should be very proud of your staff, they are exceptional xxxx

This is by far the best birds bakery I've been to. The food is perfect and the staff and amazing nothing was to much trouble for them.

Love to go here on a Thursday to get my hubby an elephants foot,haha which is a rather large cream bun made with choux pastry and it's got chocolate cream on the top.their cobs are absolutely lovely from tiny dinner buns to much larger for a filled one,they're tea cakes are massive and have lots of fruit in them,and don't get me started on the cheese scones they are divine,you can eat in here or take away ,this shop has not been open long ,but it's very popular the staff are very polite and the shop is always lovely and clean

Stayed next door. One morning only required a quick breakfast so bought bacon cobs. Polite service. Lots of bread, pastries on offer and a few seats and tables inside to enjoy coffee etc. Good size bacon cobs.

this Birds has just opened and they serve hot pork rolls, bacon rolls. sausage rolls and a great range of home made rolls and sandwiches All the cakes and bread are made by Birds and are really good. If you want quality give them a try and just to let you know the staff are great and really helpful.

Clean tidy looks good but had chicken pastie and was very cold not nice
