staff friendly nothing to much trouble

Great toasted sandwich and shortbread biscuits that melt in the mouth and are to die for. Much to expensive though so only for a treat. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly and pleasant.

I love this Costa, this Costa is my Costa and the staff are lovely and the coffee is excellent. Some Costas screw up the coffee, I don't know how but they do this one doesn't fact. Quality gaff.

Went there today but they didn’t have the drink I like so the guy made me one similar that was even better (think his name is was James)

Staff are lovely, but the service needs improving. Although there wasnt a big queue, it took ages to get our drink as the staff were too busy chatting.

Often too many kids for my liking, but the coffee is good.

Really going off Costa fed up of getting awful drinks by the time I have queued and took my seat my coffee is not what I got and it's very sloppy at times

This Costa is a nice size with a good amount of seating, including some outdoor seating. It can be very busy at peak times, particularly weekends but there's a good core team of friendly staff who work quickly and efficiently to serve customers. The decor is pleasant and it's a nice atmosphere with great smelling coffee. The downside, the opening hours. It closes too early in the week so it's not a place to go to after work.

Very friendly service and the barista suggested a nice tweak to the drink I'd ordered, which proved delicious!

I have been to Hucknall Costa on a handful of occasions. Made to feel welcome by the staff every time I have visited this Costa. I didn't have to wait more than a minute before I was served. I managed to find a clean table straight away with out any hassle. This Costa is on the high street

My usual coffee stop, but since they started doing deliveries queues have been increased as the staff try to keep up with orders. Not to say the staff aren't good because they have always been friendly and welcoming, just so busy these days

Just wanted 30 minutes for a click and collect. I had to ask where my order was.. they said it hadn't come on there screen. Might as well had been in the que as it was very quiet.

Really nice little coffee shop. Good selection of drinks, even if you're a non-coffee drinker like myself (various teas, soft drinks etc.) Food is good, typical stuff like muffins and shortbread, although service was a little slow when getting the food. But that's whatever, would still recommend.

My son and myself had a coffee, hot chocolate and a bacon buttie ... all lockdown rules applied 👍☕ 🥓🍔 ... but now all OK to sit inside.

My partner had a iced mocha today with no coffee in and just powdered chocolate. It was the worst he had ever had from there. It had to be chucked away. Taste your drink before you leave!

Great coffee, tempting cakes ideal location - what more do you want? Costa provides all of these, even though COVID 19 (understandably) is hampering the opportunity to sit down and relax. Nevertheless the call in for the take away service is well worth the money. I'll be back!

During this pandemic, Costa in Hucknall have tried their utmost to offer a welcoming and great value for money service; and more recently in the form of a take away. Coffee is delicious and the cakes are mouth-watering! Staff do their utmost to ensure that the cafe is a safe venue to enter, reminding customers where necessary to keep their distance and wear masks, which is easily forgotten. Well done Costa! I'll be back!

Even though there's a pandemic at the moment, the visit was relaxing and the coffee was, as always, delicious. Can't ask for more.

Luke warm coffees stale sandwiches what's not to like. NOTHING. Costa fortune overated and very impersonal

Car parks nearby with 1 hour free parking with ticket. Typical Costa coffee establishment. Usually clean as the staff seem to keep on top of clearing the tables etc. More than average seating for a Costa, and some nice booth areas. Coffee always good, but cakes a bit expensive and un-exciting.

Ideal place to pop in for a break and sit down over a delicious drink and cake. Also good for a quick lunch or breakfast. Suitable for all ages and cater very well for customers with disabilities. Friendly and welcoming staff. Can be busy at lunch time and Saturday mornings. Worth a visit.

Lovely place to just pop in, sit down and enjoy a tasty coffee and cake. Wide choice of styles of coffee drink available, from cappuccino and latte to mocha, espresso and flat, plus more. Plenty of other drinks available, hot and cold, to suit all tastes and preferences. Plenty of snacks, cakes and lunch options to choose from, including gluten free options. Worth a visit.

Excellent place to have a relaxing coffee. Good variety of drinks available plus tempting cakes including gluten free options. Situated right in the town centre on the pedestrianised part of the High Street. Worth a visit.

As a chain, Costa appears to be experiencing something of a fall from grace. For some years they were undoubtedly Britain's leading coffee chain but recent visits suggest some laurels may have been rested upon. The Hucknall branch is no exception. Tired decor and shabby floors suggest a retailer that's struggling to maintain standards. My café latté wasn't awful but it wasn't great either. The staff were unquestionably the best thing about this branch, friendly and efficient throughout my visit. Sadly, that's not enough, by itself, to redeem a quite expensive cuppa in rather dingy surroundings.

Coffee is as good as always and service is excellent. Good to see different ranges of drinks being available during different seasons. Currently offering ice coffee range. Seating outside is available now Spring is starting to appear. Good range of lunches and cakes available, including gluten-free options. Worth a visit.

The place is usually full of mothers with small noisy children, and older people meeting up. Personally, I find the coffee dreadful; it is either so strong it will stain your teeth or, if you ask for a weaker cup, it is absolutely tasteless. I have also tried the herb/fruit teas which are tasteless. When I visit, I always take one of my own tea bags with me and ask for a pot of hot water. During a visit only this week, to meet up with friends, I found only one table vacant and it was like a disaster area with broken biscuits, left over food, dirty crockery and debris all over the floor and had to ask for the table to be cleared.

Chain coffee house, nothing much to be expected, not the nicest views at all nor the nicest crowd, sadly that has nothing to do with Costa but the location. Staff are friendly and the coffee is the Costa average. No surprises.

Pop in here quite a lot. So pleased Costa invested in Hucknall as the town needs it. The staff are always friendly and pleasant. Standard Costa fare which is good and fresh. Just wish Costa would extend their sandwich range. However, always reliable.
