T8's Wine Bar & Cafe in Ashfield

Always a treat to visit for a cuppa and breakfast snack

I was astonished when watching the member of staff who made my tea squeeze the teabag with her fingers, filthy habit and to add insult to injury I was charged £4.30 for the tea and a coffee the coffee being from a jar and not a espresso machine as you might expect with these prices.

Amazing food, highly recommend the ploughmans lunch! excellent and friendly staff! Excellent pints and iced caramel coffee!

Food and service top quality Anna behind bar and jo in kitchen amazing they make a great team always happy to help and are always laughing together will definitely go back and highly recommend this place for breakfast and burgers can't wait to try the rest of menu.

Nice bar, excellent pint of Strongbow Dark, possibly the best pint of I've ever had..., but a real shame about the clientele, too many stares from groups clearly not intent on having a nice Friday evening/potentially threatening... An unfortunate vibe, as the music selection was pretty sweet....

Whilst watching a Forest match at this bar a woman was shouting loud racist abuse at the TV aimed at a Korean player, I was with my girlfriend who is Chinese and when we confronted the woman she just doubled down and said ‘’but he’s Chinese and I was talking to the tv and not you’’ we told a staff member who did nothing but look at us and leave us to handle the situation ourselves, we asked him to move the woman away from us, he did nothing and so we left with our unfinished drinks on the table. This bar needs to think about what kind of customer it wants as after that incident it definitely felt like they chose a racist drunk woman over two normal fans enjoying the game. Extremely disappointing for this bar and for Nottingham.

Visited a couple of weeks ago food was lovely, enjoyed it so much I decided to take my mum for food today, sadly wasn't as good this time round 😔

Really nice cafe. Food, drinks and hospitality is great. Will be visiting again as I'm frequently shopping in hucknall town centre and parking next to Wilko's which makes it super convenient.

Went in for breakfast as wife went shopping had large breakfast comes with tea or coffee and 2 toast very l well presented and great to eat cooked perfect will defo go again

Great prompt service at the bar.

The new owners are a lovely couple nice and friendly, as are the rest of the staff.The breakfast,s are beautiful and the beer is kept very well ,and all at a fair price ,great for the footy.

Staff were brilliant, as it was a Friday night it was really busy but the bar staff did amazing and served us within 2-3 minutes. Fantastic music and brilliant atmosphere

Stopped off for an afternoon drink. Really nice styled bar. It was quite quiet when we went and were served by a really friendly and helpful barman called Scott. Had a really nice visit in good surroundings. The thing that made it standout was the service we had from Scott - outstanding - really friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him.

We've had breakfast and lunch here.I can honestly say that it is a lovely place to eat.The food is very fresh and always tastes amazing. The service is also excellent .Great value for what we got and would definitely recommend it.

Great place to sit back and relax over a drink or meal. Offers a typical range of food and drink ideal for a breakfast, lunch or simply a short break. Staff are very welcoming and helpful with anything you're unsure about. Comfortable decor with plenty of seating inside and outside. Prices are very reasonable. Not expensive at all. Perhaps in need of a few dabs of paint here and there. Overall it's worth popping in.

Went to T8s today with daughter and 2 small children, daughter stood at the counter waiting to order, she was the only person at the counter waiting....and waiting....and waiting, while the woman behind the counter gossiped to another lady about local news, meanwhile small child is getting fractious as he was hungry and attracting much attention from other diners, after around 10-12 minutes standing at the counter waiting for the staff to finish gossiping we all walked out and went elsewhereThe whole cafe/bar is shabby and not in a shabby chic way, just shabby, dirty and unkempt, we won't be going again

Food is served promptly and with a smile by the staff. Not the largest menu going, but more than adequate for the average customer. Good value for the location and facilities.

Thought we'd give it a try whilst out shopping. Service was poor. I ordered a ploughman's which consisted of a plate of lettuce, pork pie, 3 pickled onions and grated cheese. No slab of local cheese, no sliced ham. I would suggest trying one of the other local cafes that put some effort and pride into their work.

walking through Hucknall we decided to have lunch and a warm drink so we popped into T 8`s wine bar we where greeted with a friendly smile we sat down ordered our meal and it arrived quite quickly a good size with some nice garnish.

I went to the local church where the famous poet Lord Byron is buried. In between two church services, I was feeling hungry and wondered if anything was open on a coldish Sunday morning.

Good food, freshly cooked, great value too! The staff are friendly and willing to help.
