Came in with my son and next-door neighbour I had the steak pie and she had chips and fried bread we have both been really sick straight after leaving the restaurant will not be coming again

I've been going to Rumbles since I moved into Glemsford around 2 years ago and it's always been a great experience. As others have said best to order in advance on Fridays and Saturdays as they do get busy. Also be prepared to undo your belt, the chip portion sizes are mahoosive. Personally never had a bad experience there and the staff are all friendly and happy.

Burger King burgers are always delicious due to their grilled flavour and zingy salad with onion. Friendly staff served with a smile.

There was a missing box of potato tots

Order 4 cans of carlsberg export 4.8 they sent cheaper carlsberg pilsner 3.4 at same price as the 4 8 export no more orders of me

Took over 2 hours to deliver, kept saying it was on route and will be 10 minutes, finally showed stone cold, when I rang was told ‘don’t know why you’re talking to me I didn’t deliver it’ and ‘go talk to just eat’. £40 order inedible going straight in the bin, don’t waste your time or money.

On Saturday night on way home from watching the football I purchased kebab meat chips 2 large cod fish and peas. The cod fish was both inedible so dry and had bones in it that even the cat turned her nose up and would not eat it. Ended up throwing both large cod in the bin and making cheese on toast instead. If it had not been so cold outside and bad weather I would have taken it back for a refund. DONT BUY FISH FROM HERE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO COOK IT/ KEEP IT WARM TOO LONG THAT IT DRIES OUT. The kebab meat my son had was ok so paid over £26 for a regular kebab meat some chips and 1 pot of peas rest went in the bin

Lo visité hoy. La nueva cocina parece muy impresionante, sin embargo, pedir y recoger bebidas parecía muy desorganizado. El merengue de limón desafortunadamente necesitaba un cuchillo y un tenedor para cortar la pastelería. Precioso té. Espero que los almuerzos mejoren.

Ordered a donner meet and sheesh and the sheesh was absolutely horrible and for what we paid it wasn’t worth it at all the portion size was disappointing , the only good thing we got was the spicy fries

We came here 2/2/25 for lunch, ordered our food and drinks. We were told the wait would be 20 minutes, an hour later our food came, partly cold and not the correct order. After finishing the food we could we were still waiting for the food we didn’t receive. Such a shame also because people with small children were waiting too.

Worst food ever,chips were rock hard and completely warmed up, like it was dragged out of the slops....... Never again.

We visited Makeney Hall yday for afternoon tea for our friend Fiona's birthday treat. A lovely experience, all the food and prosseco served were of excellent quality. Tea & coffee was refilled as required, in fact nothing was too much trouble for the staff on duty. We sat by the window in the conservatory room, overlooking the grounds. Very relaxing, a perfect setting. We felt the afternoon tea was great value for money. We will definitely be visiting again for afternoon tea, a meal in the restaurant or for a Murder Mystery Evening. Special thanks to Kate who ensured Fiona celebrated her birthday in style 🥂, checked up on us all, adding a personal touch from the hotel. Outstanding customer service ! Well done Makeney Hall ! .
