Mi familia y yo tuvimos una oferta groupon aquí. Al llegar todo parecía bien, nos presentó los menús sólo para descubrir que no eran ofreciendo lo que había en la oferta groupon. El primer plato llega, que parecía fantástico darnos muchas esperanzas para el resto de nuestra comida. El campo principal tomó 40 minutos si no más en llegar, por que hacía frío. El papa puré parecía smash, y todos nuestros platos principales se veía como la comida que te dan en un 3,99 todo lo que pueda comer restaurante. El cerdo pedimos, que no estaba en el menú, pero el groupon ofrecen, era insípido. no devolverlo, ya que no queríamos esperar otra hora para nuestra comida. Cuando pedir bebidas principales ups, la camarera se le olvidó nosotros así que esperamos otra media hora. Una comida de 2 platos tardaron 2 horas, lo que es una vergüenza. sólo había 4 mesa por lo tanto no había excusa. Entiendo que tenían un comedor separado; así que ellos no quieren clientes groupon cerca pagadores personas completos. No vayas aquí. No malgastes tu dinero. La comida nos dejó 2 de nosotros enferma. Estos chefs necesita formación adecuada, por lo que el personal.

La primera vez que comimos en 24 la comida era increíble, así que volvimos ya que habíamos ido a Belper y estábamos buscando un buen lugar para comer, qué decepción la segunda visita fue, así que lo dejamos para unos pocos meses y sí, nos dieron una más prueba, todos l puedo decir es nunca más. La comida llegamos y el primer plato era normal para decir lo menos. Cuando llegamos el plato principal, la visión de lo dice todo. piscina de pollo en salsa de recocido, patatas papas Rosti que era como caucho y zanahorias que tenía un trozo de margarina atrapado en la cima. Incluso la camarera parecía avergonzados sirve!

24 ha revisado su menú y sigue ofreciendo buena comida. Con la zona de comedor a la parte delantera y la cocina en la parte de atrás un servidor individual puede ser expandido en un ajetreado día. Esto fue un sábado ocupado como un grupo de seguidores del fútbol llamado en su camino Bridge Street. Después de este cabaret Impromptu, nuestra comida llegó y relación calidad-precio era muy agradable y buena. Las mesas cuadradas pequeñas han sido reemplazados por los grandes y redondas que pueden hacer espacio limitado para parejas.

We went here with our family for a special dinner, but as others have said, it really misses the target for atmosphere, decor etc. I was expecting a proper hotel restaurant, and I was quite disappointed to be shown to a cramped table in the bar. We waited for about an hour for our starters, although the server was very apologetic when it came. The food was lovely, but not always as described - the black pudding sundried tomato and poached egg salad came with no sundried tomato, and the egg was overcooked. The whitebait was described as crumbed, but was panfried in flour. Not huge problems, but the poor attention to detail is symptomatic of this hotel's approach to a lot of things. All in all, a good place to come for a good dinner, but don't expect a special "experience".

We came to Twenty Four for a family dinner, and overall we enjoyed it. The restaurant itself was quite low key, more like a pub bar (and in fairness, the hotel's website describes it as a pub) than a restaurant really, and that made us quite nervous about the quality of the food. But in fact, with only small exceptions we were perfectly happy with the food! It was all yummy, and some things were absolutely lovely! The staff were great, but the service suffered very obviously from the fact that a wedding was taking place in the hotel. This meant long waits between courses, but as I say, the food was generally worth the wait. The impact of the wedding reception was felt in other places too: the lounge area and courtyard were filled with wedding guests, so we did feel like we were wedding-crashing a bit! Also, the toilets had run out of toilet paper and had gotten a little messy with abandoned glasses and so on. We'd love to go back and see how it is when there isn't a wedding going on, as it seems like it should be a great experience!

Visited on my hairdressers recomendation she goes for Lunch sometimes. Went in the evening and I had to look twice to see if I was in the right place. The decor is very tired and the restaurant at this hotel seems to be an afterthought. What a shame service and food excellent - need to spruce this up and I am sure more people would visit that actually live in Belper. Come on Lion Hotel get some atmosphere.

Food and presentation excellent. Service excellent. No music, and a little too quiet. But we were there with our children, so it didn't matter too much. Lovely comfy seating, and the place looks good - including the food. I like to judge service on how we are handled when things go wrong. So when we both decided our glasses of Rioja were a little corked, our glasses were promptly taken away without a word of question. They were replaced with two new glasses of Rioja from a new bottle in seconds. That's almost perfect service (but for the fact that we should perhaps have been offered to taste the newly poured glass first....). Nevertheless, I thought our genuine complaint was handled very well, efficiently and courteously. Used our 25% off voucher here - available from VoucherCloud app on Iphone. What a result.
