I've been going to Rumbles since I moved into Glemsford around 2 years ago and it's always been a great experience. As others have said best to order in advance on Fridays and Saturdays as they do get busy. Also be prepared to undo your belt, the chip portion sizes are mahoosive. Personally never had a bad experience there and the staff are all friendly and happy.

USA Chicken. Honestly . Worst chicken I've ever had , dry as / burnt, any moisture left some time ago. Cooked in rancid fat to boot. Anyone leaving good reviews of anything similar to what I had , must be accustom to eating from bins.. Sorry , my opinion, but never again rather be hungry than out of pocket and I'll.

Ordered fish and chips which we were looking forward to after not having any during lockdown. I ordered rock eel which tasted and smelt of ammonia. I called the shop and was told their fish is fresh at the weekend so they cooked me a piece of fish probably around 4/5 days old. Also they charge £1 each for gherkins which are tiny.

We live in Glemsford and Rumbles is a great local amenity. They offer a fairly extensive takeaway menu which includes the usual range of several types of fish to pies, burgers, sausages, kebabs etc, all cooked freshly to order at fair prices. If using on a Friday evening probably best to order in advance as they get fairly busy. Oh and be warned, the portions of chips are enormous.

Don't even consider other options, Rumbles (in Glemsford) is easily the best, local Chippy around. Be warned though, portions are MASSIVE. We have been known to drive 20 minutes out of our way to collect our chips fro Rumbles. Staff are always friendly, I would advise calling ahead to place your order as it does get very busy on a Friday evening. Sadly, they do not offer home delivery.

The best Fish & Chips in the area, very large portions one chips between two is enough. Selection of other fast foods available.

No vayas aquí. No malgastes tu dinero.

Food was great bar the chips which were abit soggy and had no salt. But could have been the drive home that caused soggy chips.

We went for a Christmas lunch menu as a party of 4 following good experiences previously at Sunday lunch. Menu choices were confirmed a week in advance. This time it was very disappointing. We had to wait nearly 30 minutes for the main course to arrive. The few vegetables there were had been cooked to the point of incineration. The fish had a hard yellow crust and the turkey roll defied cutting. The 3 "Tender broccoli" stems were black and crisped whilst Brussels sprouts had the texture of golf balls. Only the cranberry sauce had any taste. We were asked if we would like to wait before service of the second course. We declined as we wished to conclude the meal as soon as possible. However another long wait still ensued and we found out why - the white roulade was still semi frozen! Sadly we do not recommend!
