Great food and service here- I had the sausage and mash but when my mum got the steak- it was slightly undercooked so I wouldn't recommend that... But of course the desert was FAB!!!!!! The texture of them all were great and I love the selection! The atmosphere is average because of the car park- otherwise, great!!

Wow little gem in Leicester. Beautiful venue. Must come again. We were gifted afternoon tea gift voucher from family for Christmas. Booked today and was excellent. Fabulous welcoming host, food was top notch and vast array of drinks. A modern twist on afternoon tea with hot mini burgers and finger foods. Good offer of vegetarian and vegan if required. Eldest son spontaneously dropped in and Revolution welcomed the add on and we enjoyed a nice catch up with our not so little boy! Great vibe and setting. Highly recommend.

Easily one of my favourite bars in Notts. a hidden gem if you want somewhere off the beaten path, but still in the centre. This place got me into craft beers. The staff are SUPER knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. A lovely outdoor area joining on to the sister bar Herbert Kilpin. Donāt like beer? Amazing cocktails on, and off, the menu, a decent selection of wine, and a regularly changing food menu.

Went here for our 5 year anniversary. Won't be returning. Food is chain pub quality for a 5* price. We were shoved in a side room where you can see the kitchen yet food came cold. Mains followed the starters like almost immediately so I'm not sure how 'freshly made' food is. I ordered the burger without sauce (as I don't like blue cheese) and with being in view of kitchen could hear them moaning about my order. Followed by a member of the kitchen watching me eat it. Had our server been around this is something I'd have brought up but we didn't see anyone and being that we were hungry we ate the food. Having read other reviews I have to agree to the burger being overpriced and bland the meat dry even after adding plain mayo to it. The wine we chose was Ā£50+ but is Ā£24 in Waitrose. We finally saw our server again to offer us dessert however once we'd declined dessert that was it. No one came back to us, another round of drinks would've be nice but nothing. The other half had to go find someone to pay the bill. Whilst he was gone (I'm assuming it was the places accountant that was seated next to us as someone brought them a large bag of receipts which felt somewhat unprofessional) our server reappeared and stood next me only to talk to accountant. To which the person had to tell her to move so I could leave as she was blocking my way. We were never once was asked how the food was or if everything was alright. Just seemed like they'd got our money and were done with us. Not how we wanted to spend our Anniversary. Ā£130+ wasted, money doesn't bother us when it's worth it. This wasn't. As locals to the area we'll stick to the pubs we know. If you want a fine dining experience try the Maynard because this is just an overpriced weatherspoons.
