The best restaurants in East Midlands

Called in to enjoy Happy Hour drinks and pizza. The kitchen was on the verge of closing as we arrived, luckily they took our pizza order. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed happy hour drinks including 2 for 1 cocktails. When the food arrived it was fresh and delicious. We will definitely return next time we are in Leicester.

There was a group of 6 of us service wasn’t with a smile food was ok had better in Manchester and more for ur money spent £280 and they couldn’t even ring us a taxi after the meal… food was nothing like what we have had at other Greek places

this bar has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly but what brings me back is the drinks. signature cocktails and delicious home brewed pickle backs. Need more! love this place

Food is great. Atmosphere great. Service a bit of a let down. No check back. No asking if we wanted anymore drinks. Not offered dessert menu. Getting sauces, salt etc in sachets (not enough) when paying that much for food is a let down.

Overcooked dry steaks and burgers. "Well done" steaks were black outside raw inside. Burgers were close to being charcoal. Food not up to normal excellent standards.

Delicious food and always great beer here. The staff are lovely and the buildings are beautifully kept both inside and out. Outside, there's a nice beer garden and a covered wooden decked area which is lovely on a summer's evening with the "Crooked Spire" of Chesterfield visible in the distance. The log burner makes the inside toasty in the colder months and the low ceilings, oak beams and pretty lighting create a lovely atmosphere. The Blue Bell Inn is definitely worth a visit.

Old world charm hotel... very cosy stay indeed

Really nice, no fuss, great food and staff. Gf and df no problem, five of us and all meals were very good.

Opening times online wrong. Travelled here and closed.

Amazing place - brilliant atmosphere and amazing food. Steaks cooked to perfection! Service second to none. Drinks a tad expensive but overall a great night out.
