We just had a family gathering, the food and service was fantastic. Great selection, catering for all requirements. We will be returning!

Best Sunday lunch in Nottinghamshire! Had yet another fabulous Sunday lunch this week, full of wonderful veg and not packed out with mash like many other places! Tony and Flo really looked after us and made us feel valued and cared for. Thank you and we’ll definitely be back soon ❤️

Came for Sunday lunch, fantastic value for money, huge portions, great food , absolutely wonderful service, Tom served us and couldn’t do enough for us we invited a couple of friends who are foodies and they were really impressed .

I and my daughter when asked if food was ok replied no chips very hard on both plates not edible staff made a joke nothing done very disappointing pie was great 👍

Ordered food didn't get what I asked for. When replaced the burger had been over cooked and was like shoe leather.The fresh chips was undercooked.when a young lad come to collect the dishes i told him about it all he could say was he didn't cook it.think staff on a sat for match days could do with some customer service training to help with complaints that could have been easily resolved. Such a shame as come in here every weekend. They have lost a lot of customers due to the nest you'd think they would be on their a game to keep their customers happy.

Fab pizzas! We had the pepperoni and the Parmesan & prosciutto pizzas, lovely thin base. Atmosphere was great even on a non-match day! Very friendly staff and clean pub!

I have been visiting this pub for 10 years plus and have seen some great changes. Whether its a quite pint in the week or match day madness. This pub is up there with the best in Nottingham. Great staff and great events list. Also not to mention a great pint of Guinness.

Come in every Monday night. Guinness and service are top notch, and sausage rolls are well nice.

Sunday roast was great, would highly recommend the topside beef! Quality beef with no fat, I’d also suggest the cauliflower cheese as well. Service was easy

Great pub. Probably serves the best pie in Nottingham. Staff are friendly. There’s always a good atmosphere, even on a Wednesday, dog friendly, good choice of drinks + food and of good value - especially Thursday night pie night!

We went out to The Trent Navigation yesterday (30/12/24) for dinner and were greeted at the door by staff whilst deciding where to sit. After we were seated, we ordered drinks at the bar whilst the menus were dropped off at the table. As someone who isn’t drinking, the options available are very good; however, I didn’t rate the choice of San Miguel 0% - will choose something else next time! We ordered food at the table, which came out pretty quickly. I found the fish to be perfectly cooked, with the chips the right amount of crispy - just how I like it! The pie was delicious with the mash & mushy peas complimented by the gravy - although found towards the end of the pie, the meat could’ve done with a little bit more sauce/gravy to stop it from drying out a little. After finishing the lot (apart from a few chips I couldn’t finish), we were truly full. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, food was brilliant, and I really recommend a visit. Looking forward to trying their pizzas next time!

Best Roast dinner in Nottingham especially on a Monday and Tuesday when it is only £8.50! Good selection of classic pub food and beers, caters for all tastes and dog friendly. Fantastic service and staff.

Great pub, lots of beers and a good atmosphere but avoid eating there unless you have the pizza (separate kitchen) as the pub food especially the pie is absolutely awful.

Nice friendly pub. Good selection of ales. Excellent quality and value homemade food. Sausage Rolls and Pie Night are highly recommended.

A couple a dozen of us attend this great establishment every Monday afternoon after padel around the corner. Great staff, particularly Tom, great service and food. The real winner is the loyalty program where you get double stamps every Monday. Just the best.

Love coming here on a Monday. Had their famous steak and ale pie 7 weeks in a row now! Lovely food and lovely staff. Tom and Jess really make a Monday “Magic Monday” as they would call it. Definitely recommend.👍

Had group of 8 sit down for a meal. The staff where super friendly and couldn't do enough for use. Food was equally all good with a large selection of drinks. Very good little pub

Good before and after the match. Big screen. Many bars and bands on stage. Food is expensive

played padel round the corner, walked to the navi 2 minutes away, enjoyed happy hour on pizzas and beer. beer was excellent and the pizza was even better. manager is a geeza

A group of us come here for drinks most weeks after playing padel and this week we ordered puddings for the final festive game of the year and the chef did a great job of getting all our orders out together, all super tasty and good sized portions. The staff were really friendly and welcoming too - we’ll deffo be back for more!

All great at Trent Navigation today Friday 13th lunch was excellent especially as I asked for my meal to be tweaked but it wasn't a problem and thoroughly enjoyed it 😀 A good selection on the specials board too this week

Just went for a drink before football. Great atmosphere, really busy but queues not too long. Very expensive but everything is these days.

Sunday evening, 1st September, around half six, very nice pint of Lenton Lane Pale Moonlight & draught strawberry & lime recording. Two Sunday roasts, Turkey & roast topside of beef, all the trimmings, veg perfectly cooked, gravy should be served in pint glasses, loved the the parsnip, yorkie bit flat, total bill with food & drinks £38.

Very large pub with outdoor seating and outdoor screen as well as bar outside when it more busy. We got pizza from the outside £15 for 14inch pizza which I thought was good and they was tasty. Children allowed got busier closer to kick off which we didn't realise we was just walking and stop for lunch

Love the Nav... Freindly staff and atmosphere. The set up there is becoming the go to place to watch any live sports on TV with fantastic facilities inside and out. The menu is also superb 👍

Went to the Forza Garibaldi festival. Food put on was amazing. Good selection and all very tasty and freshly made. Service was okay. Atmosphere was good but needed a few more in

Take That Pre party Sunday 26th May Absolutely brilliant atmosphere, the bars were mega busy and sometimes the bar staff lost their way with who was next but generally all round fantastic day. We had the beefburgers from the bbq, gorgeous. When it rained the canopies came down just perfect, THANK YOU TO ALL.

In fairness I only had the BBQ but my girlfriend was very impressed the vegetarian stuff was completely isolated from the real food. The place was heaving and the staff were fast, polite, and a credit to the Trent Nav! The atmosphere... Wow. It was a match day and I didn't have a ticket for the game, but I didn't need one! Genuinely electric, the next best thing to bring in the WFCG! I will definitely be visiting more regularly.

Absolutely awful got physically assaulted by a guy and the management said as he was a member of the party that had booked that was okay. Do not recommend!

Put the football on the big screen for us when it was quiet. Been here when it’s both busy and quiet and the staff are always lovely. Food is decent too!
