Very large pub with outdoor seating and outdoor screen as well as bar outside when it more busy. We got pizza from the outside £15 for 14inch pizza which I thought was good and they was tasty. Children allowed got busier closer to kick off which we didn't realise we was just walking and stop for lunch

Love the Nav... Freindly staff and atmosphere. The set up there is becoming the go to place to watch any live sports on TV with fantastic facilities inside and out. The menu is also superb 👍

Went to the Forza Garibaldi festival. Food put on was amazing. Good selection and all very tasty and freshly made. Service was okay. Atmosphere was good but needed a few more in

Take That Pre party Sunday 26th May Absolutely brilliant atmosphere, the bars were mega busy and sometimes the bar staff lost their way with who was next but generally all round fantastic day. We had the beefburgers from the bbq, gorgeous. When it rained the canopies came down just perfect, THANK YOU TO ALL.

Good outside seating with live music performances at times. Good beer and good seating inside too.

In fairness I only had the BBQ but my girlfriend was very impressed the vegetarian stuff was completely isolated from the real food. The place was heaving and the staff were fast, polite, and a credit to the Trent Nav! The atmosphere... Wow. It was a match day and I didn't have a ticket for the game, but I didn't need one! Genuinely electric, the next best thing to bring in the WFCG! I will definitely be visiting more regularly.

Absolutely awful got physically assaulted by a guy and the management said as he was a member of the party that had booked that was okay. Do not recommend!

Put the football on the big screen for us when it was quiet. Been here when it’s both busy and quiet and the staff are always lovely. Food is decent too!

Wow what a Sunday dinner, if you haven't been here why not, trust me one of the best Sunday dinner I have ever had. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend. Plus the service was on point and very friendly.

Only popped in here for a morning coffee but was impressed by the service, decor and quality of the drinks. Owned by a small, local pub company it seems to have a lot going for it so will come back and try the food and beer.

One of, if not my favourite pub in Nottingham. Great place, great beers and the food is always spot on. Kitchen staff went above and beyond to make exactly what the younger member of our group wanted to eat, even though it wasn’t exactly on the menu. Would recommend to everyone

Great freshly cooked food, served by helpful and friendly staff. Good selection of beers and lagers, but it can get very busy on match days.

Usually only come on match days and the atmosphere is amazing then! As expected to busy to have food on those days. Went today for food and wow, that must be the best meal I’ve had in years!! Had the roast dinner, and for £8.50 (I think) the portions are huge and the quality I’d happily pay £20+++ for. Lovely atmosphere, great outdoor space for match days. Will be returning!!!

This has got to be one of the best pre-match pubs I've ever been to. Proper beer from the on-site brewery with rapid service in a beautifully renovated building and Big Shed make it a must visit. Mingling with the County fans whilst listening to the excellent singer made for a buzzing atmosphere too. The 2-1 Saddlers victory was a nice added bonus....

Every time I go to the Trent Navigation I lament that there tasty beers aren't more readily available in other pubs. Here though, they always have a good selection. Today we also found out they had outstanding Sunday Roast Dinner's. We both had the Lamb shanks, which aren't usually on the menu at other places and they were fantastic. All the veg and trimmings were good too. We'll have to go back for the beef, pork and turkey. We've only eaten there once before in recent years. That was on their Friday night fish and chips thing which was very good too.

Service can be a little chaotic when busy but great pub. Need some heaters outside as it’s very difficult to get inside when it is busy. Big selection of food and drink and not too pricey. Great on match days

Saturday 18th november 2023 At half time watching Bradford City losing 4.0 at notts County, we left the game and come to one of Nottinghams best real ale pubs to cry in our beers This great real ale pub served a magnitude of great beers, a great lovely pub with such great staff A essential real ale pub visit to come to when in Nottingham

Really nice little pub tucked away near west bridgeford. The food looked delicious although I did not try any.

Great pub with a great atmosphere..especially for anyone supporting football..but today we visited for Sunday lunch & it was cold !! Sent it back voicing my opinion & it came back 5 minutes later exactly the same..felt like the waitress had no idea about professionalism regarding serving food!! We ordered a Sunday lunch & she placed a pot of vinegar as a condiment 😫😫 so disappointed

Very nice food. We went for dinner. Food was hot and tasted lovely. The young nan serving us was very polite friendly. Gave our dog water . Will go again

Been after the football and food and drink are nice, but the live music is really terrible and far too loud. Seen the same fella there several times and the set list is always the same. Only so many times you can listen to him warble through "wonderwall" "gold" and "don't stop believing" before you want to rupture your own eardrums. Makes conversation difficult as you have to shout over him. Plenty of other pubs in the area so we'll not be going back. Feel sorry for people living close hearing him every week

the bacon cob was still oinking . But the beer is good and the atmosphere and the services on game day is banging. Just sort the wet under cooked bacon 🥓 out and your sorted 👌 👍.

Been several times on footballs days. Like a well oiled machine, lots of staff on. Vegan food available even on mach days cooked separately from the meat.

Came here as an away fan for Notts County v swindon. I can honestly say what a fantastic pub with great atmosphere. Would highly recommend this pub.

Went for the National Curry Week special night. The food was incredible, so much so I’m stuffed at the end! Topped off by beautiful homemade deserts. Fantastic wide beer selection. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. A top experience I’d recommend to everyone!

This is such a good place the food is amazing and the staff so helpful. The best super large screen I have ever Seen and an amazing atmosphere. Live music,sports and a good selection of beer what more could you need

The Trent Nav is one of the only decent ‘proper’ pubs south of the city centre. It has original Victorian tavern charm blended with comfy modern decor. They have a good selection of beers on the bar - including their own brewery’s range of draft ales (which are invitingly cheap during happy hour 6pm-8pm). The best thing is the food menu - finding a roast which isn’t home cooked and worth having is a rare gem, and where else are you getting a roast dinner for £7.50? The pub offers a different £7.50 meal deal Monday to Friday, and every one is fantastic.
