Great pub, good food and drinks, decent prices and friendly service. I was served by HW and RB and had a great time, would go again

Had a fantastic experience, in particular one team member called Brad (Team Death Eater) was very engaging & delivered a 5 star service ⭐️

Had a really great meal here recently, looked after really well by Millie. Nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to make our time here enjoyable. She's a credit to your staff, thank you so much Millie!

We had to wait for over half an hour for our food. When it came my order was cooked wrong, I had to send it back and then it came back cold. My partners burger was raw in the middle, when he took a bite the meat was pink and bleeding! So they refunded the meals, which was good of them. We ordered a second round of drinks, but wasn’t feeling too good after the food we had eaten, so asked for a refund for the second round of drinks, so we could leave. The manger was insisting we had a refund for the drinks, but I had to break it down to the waitress what money I had received and we wanted to leave, and we didn’t want free drinks. Over populated and not enough team on. Working in the food and drink industry, this wasn’t the service you would expect from a high chain of pubs.

Wow, what a great pub, called in for the Thursday Pub quiz and got in early for a meal prior. The food quality was excellent and prices great, best value for money I have found. Mum had the steak and pie which was brilliant and full of large pieces of tender meat- deservedly “Award winning” like the menu says, it’s a huge size so you wont go hungry. I had a burger sizzler or something like that again huge portion and well cooked. They have a great variety of drinks and the interior and exterior decor is very nice. There was a good variety of patrons from families to late teens-20’s and even some older patrons (like us) and all were having a similarly great time. I highly recommend a visit to the Ock and Dough

The Ocks a great pub, staff give good service and food is always good. Me and my group of friends dine here for our monthly get together and it's always a pleasure. Molly was very attentive and friendly, she gave good recommendations for desserts. We will be back on our next meet up!

We always come back to this place, every time when we are too lazy to cook a meal, no matter breakfast, lunch or dinner. We are not spoiled with choices in Wellingborough to dine in, we have tried possibly every caffe and restaurant in our area, but always come back here. When we are not sure what we want but know we don’t want to stay home, now, this is the main choice. Staff is always nice and friendly. Food is fine and thats one of the reasons we do come back.

I’ve been searching for somewhere local and dog friendly to eat Sunday roast. Today I came to Ock n Dough which served me well. I enjoyed modestly priced Roast beef with trimmings. I then succumbed to chocolate torte for pudding, all with my faithful canine friend by my side. Food was lovely. Thank you Ock n Dough.

The food was very poor! Sausages undercooked, my daughter’s wrap was microwaved, so too hot to even touch and then it turned into a soggy mess. Inedible Will not return again. Manager needs to watch what his kitchen is sending out….. Waiting staff very unhelpful

A lovely family meal at the Ock n Dough, very large portions for such low prices. We were served by Caitlin and Charlie I believe their names were, making us all laugh and smile when bringing our food over! We will definitely be coming back. Thank you girls for such a lovely evening out over the half term!

The service is superb! The staff at the Ock are always helpful and attentive to ensure we have everything we need. We come to the Ock n Dough quite alot and my family and I have never had a bad meal here, food is always quite quick and hot. We always look forward to our visits to this pub.

Visited on a Friday, chose the offer for two burgers, arrived quickly, but found them to be very basic, would not have been happy to have paid full price for them, won't return or recommend unfortunately.

Standard chain pub. Family gathering for lunch. Food adequate as expected. Several coffees ordered- weak coffee in mugs plonked on table with large jug of milk. No attempt at any presentation.

We came here and had a steak the staff here are lovely and Wendy who takes the booking is amazing such a lovely lady i would give her a 10 star if i could wendy welcome us and all ways with a smile on her face I will keep coming here food is lovely as well I would give the staff 10 out of 10

Came in on Sunday for a friends get together after our football match! Servered by Caitlin! She was amazing made sure we had everything we needed and even after we had to send a burger back due to it being undercooked she sorted it out straight away and apologised so much! Couldn’t fault her at all! Very smiley too

Came in on Saturday early evening at a time where it looked quite busy but thankfully we got seated even though we didn’t have a booking. Tommy, Laura and Charlie were really great during our visit both to us and the other people sitting around us; tidying up, checking on tables, taking the time to talk to us even though they were obviously busy. The food was most definitely worth the wait too and we will 100% be returning!!!

Come to the ock and dough at around 1pm this afternoon, was greeted by a very friendly gentle men who placed us happily in a great seating area. We all had breakfast items and could not fault any thing! Food is 10/10 staff are very friendly and always around if anything is needed, was quit busy to. So good to see such service whilst at a busy time. Will definitely be back with my family and recommending to others.

We took our daughter for her birthday. The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. The food really nice and good value. The icing on the cake (so to speak ) was we had bought a birthday cake with us and asked for the candles to be lit and brought to the table. Our candles burnt so fast they had gone out. We didn’t know but the manager sent someone out to buy sone more candles so we weren’t disappointed. This was definitely above and beyond. Thank you.

Waited too long for coffee on arrival, too long to order, too long to receive our food and no cutlery. Waited too long to get cutlery.Food itself was OK, but nothing outstanding. Clearly they were short staffed, but when you go there in the lunch break and it makes you late back to work it’s not good enough. Won’t be going back there again.
