Amazing service, we booked at the last minute and didn’t need to wait, our food arrived so fast and was lovely, staff were lovely and polite, 10/10 will visit again

Come in for breakfast with my husband and baby. Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere. Food was banging and served quickly! Mia behind the bar was super sweet and polite and Matt was very attentive with my baby and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be coming back!

Came for breakfast on Sunday morning. Used the app to order, quick service and chilled atmosphere. Had cooked breakfast, was very nice and portions just right and great value. Would recommend 😋

Visited on a Friday, chose the offer for two burgers, arrived quickly, but found them to be very basic, would not have been happy to have paid full price for them, won't return or recommend unfortunately.

Standard chain pub. Family gathering for lunch. Food adequate as expected. Several coffees ordered- weak coffee in mugs plonked on table with large jug of milk. No attempt at any presentation.

We came here and had a steak the staff here are lovely and Wendy who takes the booking is amazing such a lovely lady i would give her a 10 star if i could wendy welcome us and all ways with a smile on her face I will keep coming here food is lovely as well I would give the staff 10 out of 10

We went because we couldn't be bothered to cook and despite it being busy we were quickly seated. Our server was a young lady called caitlin who was happy when serving us. Despite being busy Caitlin kept us updated on the wait for our food. Definitely go back again

Came in on Sunday for a friends get together after our football match! Servered by Caitlin! She was amazing made sure we had everything we needed and even after we had to send a burger back due to it being undercooked she sorted it out straight away and apologised so much! Couldn’t fault her at all! Very smiley too

Came in on Saturday early evening at a time where it looked quite busy but thankfully we got seated even though we didn’t have a booking. Tommy, Laura and Charlie were really great during our visit both to us and the other people sitting around us; tidying up, checking on tables, taking the time to talk to us even though they were obviously busy. The food was most definitely worth the wait too and we will 100% be returning!!!

Come to the ock and dough at around 1pm this afternoon, was greeted by a very friendly gentle men who placed us happily in a great seating area. We all had breakfast items and could not fault any thing! Food is 10/10 staff are very friendly and always around if anything is needed, was quit busy to. So good to see such service whilst at a busy time. Will definitely be back with my family and recommending to others.

We took our daughter for her birthday. The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. The food really nice and good value. The icing on the cake (so to speak ) was we had bought a birthday cake with us and asked for the candles to be lit and brought to the table. Our candles burnt so fast they had gone out. We didn’t know but the manager sent someone out to buy sone more candles so we weren’t disappointed. This was definitely above and beyond. Thank you.

Waited too long for coffee on arrival, too long to order, too long to receive our food and no cutlery. Waited too long to get cutlery.Food itself was OK, but nothing outstanding. Clearly they were short staffed, but when you go there in the lunch break and it makes you late back to work it’s not good enough. Won’t be going back there again.

I tend to come in the ock n doe every Sunday with my ten month old daughter. Jay and the team are absolutely amazing and always make her smile whenever she’s with me. There’s a chap behind the bar named Dave who is always kind and polite whenever he serves and always goes above and beyond to tend to any customers needs! Highly recommend popping in if you haven’t already!

We were in the area looking at the new development on Glenvale Park.We thought we would pop in to grab something to eat, as it's very near.We all had breakfasts & coffee.Quality of food was great, staff were attentive & very polite.Jazz brought the first couple of breakfasts to our table, she was so lovely friendly & smiley. A young guy (not sure of his name, dark hair bit of a stubble) was also very polite.It was excellent first impression. They couldn't have done anymore, to make our visit any better.If we do decide to buy one of the houses, this will definately be our new local.Please pass on our thanks to Jazz & her partner.Well done

Visited Friday night and sat in the bar area. Music and atmosphere was great and the prices were good. Laura behind the bar was a laugh and had a great sense of humour every time she served me. Would definitely be returning!!!

Place was well presented. It was quiet on a Sunday evening, customers wearing masks but staff not when walking around. We ordered on the app, drinks took a while to come out - I asked for another drink with my atomic hot wings and was told to order on the app, then I was asked if I had ordered it while we were still wrangling with the app and then it took quite a while more to arrive.My burger (Vimto Cheese Burger) was different- the bun was a wet and soggy mess! It went flat very quickly and was limp, the bacon was undercooked and very, very fatty. The onion rings were nearly cold and the fries not much warmer, same for my girlfriend's although her burger was better (chicken). Not a great experience- mainly due to the food which I had said was "okay" - meaning edible but really not that good.

I went today for a lunch time meal at the ock and doue My partner ordered large cod and chips no problem I ordered big plate madras curry not so good the big plate curry was about half the size of the day before but I was quite grateful for this nann bread cold and hard onlon bargee burnt to the point I could tap on the side of the plate black carbon came of so overcooked it was hard as nails poppadoms was OK chips only like warm a lot of rice I can only assume this was for the lack of curry that was lacking in sauce and the meat was dry and not very pleasant . I left most of the food as it was so poor, we did wait for someone to ask is everything okay like they did the day before, but not today I think they knew how bad it had got ,we even had to ask for a knife as they had only got forks out, it is sad that today was so bad as the day before was what you expect for the price point, but maybe learn if you don't have enough don't serve it ,if people are paying for it don't lower standards We can't know who is the chief on any day so one bad day reflects on all

i have given this an excellent as i go quite often and cant fault with service the food reasonable price etc however i was very disappointed with the Sunday roast this sunday i had the beef which tasted boiled the brussels sprouts was chewy the roast potatoes was overcooked i asked for the kids one and beef was not avail only chicken it came with carrots which was cold and peas no potatoes and no gravy when i asked the lad something is not right is this the 3.99 meal he went away never came back if this was my first visit i would nt come back so whether the chef had a bad day ???

Nice hot roast dinner, fairly limited option but what we had was good. Service efficient and friendly from Jaz and Hannah.

We visited at lunch time and were greeted by a friendly young man, Conner. He showed us to our table and explained how to order. We chose to have burgers and were pleasantly surprised given the low prices. Service was excellent throughout from Conner, Hannah and the rest of the waiters/waitresses. I highly recommend a visit.

I visited recently with my family, never been before and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great, served by a lovely chap when we placed our order. His name was dave, very friendly chap and he was very helpful especially as I have a picky eater he went through the options with me and did what he could for us. This made the experience more enjoyable as I knew my little one would eat! The food was very good and the pub itself nice and clean. We will be back soon! Thank you

Been here a few times while back for Christmas, with family and for drinks. Really impressed with how its changed in the last couple of years since I moved. Had some great food with family meals and came for new years eve and although not busy the atmosphere was amazing. Have been made to feel really welcome every time, managers all chatty and team seem happy. Will be back next time.

Not really sure where to start ! Booking for Christmas Day, arrived to find our party had been split, at no point on the numerous occasions been in contact that this would be the case, Tables not set to correct number, cutlery missing. Long wait for starters and only arrived after asking for, main meals cold, food missing, majority of party finished eating before 3 vegetarian meals brought to table only after chasing , again cold !! 45 min wait and table still not clear until asked to happen, deserts awful, no ice cream with profiteroles as advertised, by this time bar had shut, did not get out coffee & mince pies just never arrived !!Management just RUDE! and sarcastic when trying to ask about anything, whilst appreciate hospitality is struggling for staff absolutely no excuse for serving cold food, totally embarrassing as we invited other family members to join us this year after having had a completely different experience two years ago.

I came with my sister and had the most loveliest, well spoken waitress, her name was Louise- she checked up on us to make sure everything was alright and was all in all brilliant!

We had a lovely meal, Conner was very pleasant and efficient, who works really hard, we visit here regularly and would reccomend.

Been coming to this pub for the last 15 years and had some great times and memories. Recently due to Covid a lot has changed, however Dwayne at the bar has always been absolutely fab. He’s so friendly and always greets us by name and makes us feel like part of the family.

Great place to come for a meal. Not as good as it used to be but still a friendly pub. Good selection of lager and wine. Great that you can order on the app without issues. Dwayne behind the bar is the reason we return each week. Can’t fault him. Also there with a warm welcome and with a smile. He makes the place a special one. Will always recommend to friends and family
