No taste, we are so felt very bad . The biryani is not cooked correctly and taste less

Had spicy chicken Wings , and lamb biryani, both were delicious. The manager even gave me a free bowl of haleem, which was amazing. Can’t wait to go back for great authentic Indian food. Thanks a million. 🌶️🌶️

Food is extremely good, reminds hyd taste. Reasonable price, good quantity. Only issue I felt not good is that there are 2 small bottled water already put on every table. We assumed that's it complimentary but they charge 2 pounds for 2 very small bottles. Felt tricked! We could have ordered tap water for free if we knew water bottles not free( we didn't ask for water bottles and they didn't tell us its not free). I think management should tell every customer that water bottles kept on tables are not free or don't put bottles at all , let customer order water bottles or tap water

Man, one of the best Indian restaurants in Leicester. We, after reading all the reviews, without any expectations, went to this restaurant to give it a try. We have ordered several items which costed us 80 £ for 4 of us and surprisingly all the items were too good. The spice level is maintained very well and if you love Irani chai, this is the place for you. Food we loved the most are chicken wings, chicken 65, special chicken biryani, Irani chai, puneer butter masala and mango Lassi. Will visit again.

I’m not sure if this is an error or how the recipe is supposed to be but the lamb biryani had an overpowering cardamom flavour to it. To the point where it was almost unenjoyable. Unless you really like a super strong cardamom flavour and nothing by else then I guess it’s alright.

Famous for Biryani I spent almost £60.00 and didn’t enjoy at all, Rice was raw and dry dum biryani there was no smell of charcoal or it been dum, Naan was raw. I did point out to the worker who didn’t had any answer and complaint didn’t got heard.

One of the worst biryanis I have had! Extremely spicy. No other flavour but only cinnamon & chilli flavour. I bought the jumbo biryani for £19.99. But when chicken isn’t marinated with good spices it’s pointless having the biryani. There was no flavour to the chicken only chillies and cinnamon. Never buying from here again

I tried chicken dum biriyani the worst biriyani I ever had in my life rice was not properly cooked

Yesterday I visited the restaurant and ordered Chicken Dum Biryani and Chicken 65. Both dishes were with good flavors and perfect cooking. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They served the food quickly and made sure everything was fine. They were polite and always ready to help. Their good service made the dining experience even better. I had a great time and will visit again!

Hyderabad Wala in Leicester provides an excellent dining experience yesterday . We came from Derby. The restaurant has a clean atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family. Food was so good and we ordered chicken dum biriyani and Naans with curry. My wife said to order more garlic naans because of the taste of it. Customer service is excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and provided everything that we needed.specially when we went there yesterday, there was a girl in front and she greeted us with a lovely smile. Special thing that touched my heart is that she treated my daughter very lovingly and gave a balloon to make my daughter happy .During that short time, my daughter talked very much and was very friendly with her. Even after going home, our daughter reminded us of her and told that she wants to go to that restaurant again, so we hope to come with our daughter again one day. The mother had been recommended this place by her friend and as it was her birthday, we dined here. It was quiet and there wasn't much available to order because the restaurant kitchen were fulfilling a catering order, as explained by a friendly staff member there, Heshani. It was fine for us anyway, the food was good. We would consider returning the next time we are out again.

We ordered a hyderabad wala platter which was a 20 pounds. In menu mentioned some dishes for platter but they said that some of the dishes are missing, instead we will add something instead, we said ok. what item we ask, they say it is not available. As for the food, we didn't like anything that well. Then we ordered LEMONADE, it was not good at all. CUSTOMER SERVICE : We went on 19/01/2025 at 6pm in the evening. At that time there was a girl working there but she behaved very recklessly. There was not a single smile and we were not even provided with water in a responsive manner. Even while serving the food, she put it carelessly and left. She don't even know what dishes have and doesn't have. The customer service is not really good, due to that girl, there is another boy, the boy did the good. But for the food, I don't really prefer it again, the taste is not good, the quantity is also very less, 20 pounds means with lemonade 21.89 it's too expensive. Not preferable restaurant for next time. Actually I thought that not too pay for lemonade but my husband said leave it. Money waste.

I ordered the butter chicken and it came within 10ish mins. The staff were very kind and happy. Lovely pictures on wall of India in black and white and lovely Indian music playing in the background. The butter chicken was to die for so tasty. Overall lovely experience would come again.

I ordered by uber eat ( the dessert and naan was amazing but the main food biryani was worst) and the customer service was terrible . Because still i am calling them ,my skin got irritated from spices in their food and was very smelly . They dont answer .

I had their Minced Meat Biriyani which was so satisfying. It's basically the minced meat comes in the middle layer of rice with gravy mixed. So first layer is rice and then on top meat and on top of meat again rice. Finally there are some crispy caramelised onions with coriander on tops which make it look so scrumptious and mouthwatering. I just loved it. But One thing to be mentioned that the price is a bit higher comparing with other shop those who are selling the biriyani in whole leicestershire.

Keep returning here for good biriyani

We ordered our food straight away. First the chicken tikka came, no flavour at all. Only thing you could taste was the butter, it was also very chewy and flavourless. The drinks came in the middle of the meal and we ordered noodles which came right at the end of the meal. All food was hard and either too spicy or mild and flavourless. Not happy at all!

Not good service, lots of food colour and oil. Quantity was not good for starters, lots of mis management of the orders. Service is slow. Toilet is not clean. Nothing is good overall. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Hyderabadwala. As regular customers, we have always expected decent service, but this time was completely unacceptable. 1. Cold Food Delivery: The food was delivered cold, making the dining experience unpleasant and far from what we expected. 2. Missing Free Item: We ordered Chicken Dum Biryani, which clearly mentioned a free item offer. However, despite repeated reminders, we never received the free item. This is misleading and unacceptable. 3. Poor Food Quality: The food quality was the worst we’ve ever experienced. The biryani was bland, stale, and lacked the authentic taste Hyderabadwala is known for. 4. False Promises on Discounts: Despite being loyal customers and previously being promised a discount by the staff, we received no discount at all. This lack of consistency and false assurances is frustrating. The combination of cold food, missing offers, poor quality, and broken promises made this experience extremely disappointing. We expected much better from a place we have supported regularly. Fix these issues or risk losing loyal customers.
