Really friendly and efficient staff, the band was great, great atmosphere- thanks for a lovely evening.

We booked Brick and Beam for a company away day and we had a fabulous time. We organised speakers during the day in their function room space where we could present on the projector, enjoyed hot drinks and excellent food menu for lunch. In the evening we used the bar area and garden had a DJ and a buffet meal. The team and Brick and Beam were really accommodating and helpful throughout, listened to what we needed and made it all work seamlessly for us. We'll be back for future private hire events for sure.

Small but nice little venue in Leicester city centre. Food was very nice and bar is well stocked. NCP carpark is expensive but you are able to park around nearby for less.

Brick and Beam hosted our Works Summer Party. We were on the top floor which allowed us access to their Garden Terrace, the food was great, they catered for the whole group plus the service on the bar was superb! No issues with any of the booking and just a great night overall! Thanks to the team for hosting us!

Booked for a private party and the team was so accommodating and we had a great time! Food options were quite limited in type of cuisine and really quite spicy which for some of us was great and really enjoyable, but for some was too much meaning they couldn't really eat the food. Only change we'd wish for is a wider range of food items catering for the fussier types! Venue itself was beautiful, location fab and we couldn't recommend enough!

I am not a smoker but I was told the outside decking / balcony area was cold and the guests couldn't spend too long there. Maybe the heating/ lighting was inadequate? We left the venue early and found a better DJ elsewhere and stayed out until 4am . This isn't a central location, and navigating through the centre of leciester is not as easy with a group of 15 people The bar staff were very helpful and friendly/ professional.

PJ proved that he was up to the task and. Absolutely proved why he was the best DJ around in the midlands for 21st. Din is the best host. Highly rate

Went here for my Nieces 40th Birthday 😁 Fancy dress! Lovely atmosphere! The drinks were a bit pricey!! We had buffet food which was nice😁👍

Love the Brick & Beam! Great cocktails, great decor, and the DJ on that night was brill. Saw a couple of private parties on, so they cater for that as well, but this didn't disturb or take away from the main bar.

Had my 40th party in the Loft Bar and honestly was the best night. The venue is gorgeous and there was a jazz band and DJ, both were absolutely amazing. Great hospitality and service. Thank you so much to all the team for an incredible experience.

I had a fantastic 40th birthday party here. The venue was excellent and the service was brilliant. I said how much I liked pear kopparberg and although this wasn’t in behind the bar the team bought it in and made sure they were in the fridge cold. The DJ was great and played all the songs on the playlist and also requests from guests. I would really recommend this venue for any party. The booking process is easy and a re-fundable deposit is made to secure the booking. All queries are answered promptly and the venue also has a special code for cheap 24 hour parking in the NCP close by. Thank you Brick and Beam Team we had a great time.

Held my wife’s 40th party there this weekend in the Venue room. Great room for the occasion! The DJ was superb and read the room well with banging tunes and people dancing into the night! Selection of food was great and devoured in seconds! Definitely recommend! Din the manager/owner communicated well the information from start to finish! Shout out too to the two door ladies who were on hand to help throughout the night with a disabled guest. All in all, will be back again!

Really nice place clean and easy to find Staff very helpful .. Lacked atmosphere and not many people .. got fed up of waiting for the live jazz band to start so ended up sipping up and leaving for a more lively pub ..

Incredible venue, incredible food, service and would highly recommend for hosting a function here, I hired the loft space. From the moment I enquired I received a great friendly and professional service from Din and was very accommodating, including personally a cocktail menu-such a great idea! All guests could not believe this venue was in Leicester as the décor, food and ambience were spot on. Everything went as planned and the staff were great. 10/10. Thank you Din & team!

Hosted our third baby shower at Brick & Beam this weekend and it went amazingly well. Everyone loved the venue and staff were really helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an aesthetically friendly place.

We were invited to a private party in a room on the first floor. The room was a good size, with its own bar. The room had been nicely decorated and the staff in there were very efficient and friendly. There was always friendly security on the front door. We would go again to try the main bar and the food.

The brunch we had was amazing. The quality was great and the portions were perfect. The service we received was also on point. Would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful baby shower event with afternoon tea, great service, great food and wonderful relaxed setting.

The place looks nice, and the servers were nice. However, it took 20+ minutes for my coffee to arrive and an hour+ for our food to arrive. Server was very apologetic. People who ordered after us had their food, ate and left before we received ours. I wouldn't mind if the place was busy, but there were only 4 tables including ours. We thought we'd at least get a complimentary drink for the long wait... Luckily the food was nice, although a bit cold at that point. I want to try them again as maybe it was just a bad day!

Amazing venue!!! Everything from the decor, location, quality of food and drink was spot on for the baby shower. I would definitely use the venue again and recommend to friends and family. The host was very friendly, accommodating and great communication ahead of the event.

Brick and Beam is just my favourite place with tasty food, a variety of live music, fantastic cocktails and a huge selection of drinks. If you are looking for a chilled out atmosphere look no further. They have a venue to hire which is a nice space for small functions and not to mention the great staff team. This is now my go to place. If you haven’t been it’s definitely worth a visit.

Shame we were not informed there was no Jaz on the night we visited, prior to our visit as we took people for the first time an really wanted them to experiance the band as we were celebrating a Birthday. However with some free Nachos, a few Tequilas in and a great DJ we ended up having a fantastic night!

Came in for some birthday drinks. Amazing place. Venue has a really chilled out vibe which caters to various ages. Great variety of drinks throughout my time there and after dinner the venue turned into a lounge / bar which was amazing. Full on Dj and live band prior to that. The food was very good as well. Definitely check this place out if your in Leicester city center. You wont be disappointed. #babyguinness

Good service. Nice food. It wasn't the biggest fry up you can get in Leicester but it was tasty. The Cornflake French toast was really nice and not sickly due to the amount of chocolate in it. Wouldn't advise trying to eat there if you struggle with stairs as there is 2-3 flights to climb. Would eat there again

Popped in for a coffee (which was delicious) as we had an hour to kill between trains. What a great venue: a stripped back, exposed brick, industrial feel which fits with its location in the Cultural Quarter really well. We sat on the roof top terrace in the sunshine which was lovely. We didn’t eat but the menu looks great, and there’s live music regularly. The staff were very friendly and efficient with their service. We will definitely be back!!

Mixed bag of thoughts. Whilst the servers were quite nice, they moved my booking because they had overbooked, when we got there we were moved around for another booking, didn’t get water after asking many times, the food was cold. I did enjoy the food aside from that, the scrambled eggs though need greatly improving: need to be creamier and more of them for the price we paid. The cornflake Nutella French toast was pretty good. Aside from issues on service the servers were friendly just badly organised which ruined the experience a little bit. This was for brunch so not sure if it’s better for lunch/dinner

Great service, very attentive and speedy. Food was tasty. There was a good selection of cocktails and mocktails. Relaxed atmosphere. The only issue was that I called before to check if there was space for a pram and high chair and the venue didn't inform me that it's not accessible. We had to carry the pram up and down three flights of stairs.

We love brunches at Brick&Beam. Great selection of breakfast classics & amazing waffles! You can not go wrong with anything you go for! Service great as always!

Favourite place ever!! Have been here for a birthday dinner and brunch - can’t fault either times! The cornflake French toast at brunch is too good and the cocktails are insane and so well priced!! Will definitely be coming here more often as they do music in the evenings. Wish I caught the name of the lovely people who work there as they’re super friendly and helpful - make you want to keep coming back!!

I went to Brick & Beam with friends last night. We had drinks and sat at the table in the outdoor area. The area is made of two sections, one fully uncovered, the other covered and furnished. The place is small, but the small bar, next to the outside area is quite nice and decor is pleasant. The business offers live music, which makes the venue more appealing. From the entrance, situated at the ground floor, you can reach the second floor (with the bar) through the stairs. Toilets and kitchen are at the first floor. Strangely, I have not seen a lift. This would compromise accessability of the business. Staff was courteous, attentive and kind. Drinks were OK - perhaps, a bit costly compared to the venues nearby. Overall, it was a pleasant evening and I won't mind visiting again.

Went Brick & Beam in the evening with a couple friends. The drinks were great, the service was amazing too (my friend wanted waffles and they accommodated us quickly before the kitchen closed 😅). The place had such a nice vibe, would definitely go back again. P.s. the waffles were soooooo good!!! Must try!!

Held my 30th birthday party here! Din was great answered all my queries via email and was attentive on the night. The room looked brilliant. The staff where all lovely too. All my guests had a great night and the dj was fab!

Atmospheric industry vibe with class terrace. Lovely decor and food is beautiful. Coffee is bold and punchy, love this from independents. A must visit when you are in Leicester.

Recently had a wedding reception at Brick & Beam, and was over the moon with how it went. Din was amazing. He communicated with us constantly and checked in to make sure that we had everything we needed, and was just generally a pleasure to work with.

Reasonable with old skool crowds

Went here for Sunday brunch with my baby niece and sister-in-law. It was brilliant we couldn’t fault the whole experience. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much for them. We also had a pushchair that we had to get up and down the stairs which was carried for us by the staff there. Definitely will be returning.

Brick and Beam was the perfect place for our wedding party, the DJ got everyone up dancing, the food was amazing, the drinks were well priced and the staff couldn’t have been better.

Had the brunch here along with my two little ones. Food was amazing - the kids even enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend the Biscoff waffle. The atmosphere is lovely and would definitely go back.

First time visiting for brunch and oh my, I was not disappointed. Booked last minute online, the venue has been done out to a high standard & the service from start to finish, was exceptional. I had Eggs Benedict & my friend had the French toast…soooo good, really tasty, good quality food & they do a decent mimosa. Will definitely be back!

Lovely place, they went out of their way to put flowers and candles on the table as we were celebrating our friends engagement, even went as far to congratulate them when they brought over the drinks. Really nice ambience and great good, all the staff were really friendly but a special shout out to the lovely girl behind the bar who kindly gave me a hair bobble after an outfit catastrophe!!! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

Had an afternoon tea here on Saturday afternoon, and throughly enjoyed it. Service was great and the food was delicious. Loved the burgers and the scones were the best I’ve ever tried. Great cocktail menu too. Highly recommend.

Was our first time at Brick & Beam - We had a great time! I posted a story on my Instagram and many viewers were asking where we were located! Food and staff were fantastic. We were initially put onto a table which was situated right next to the band which felt slightly uncomfortable. After speaking to the staff, they kindly moved us to another table which was better for us. Looking forward to going back! Live band just makes it :) x

I was here on Friday night, staff are nice and friendly, the cocktail list is great. It's a nice cute area, slightly away from the main city centre and even the live jazz makes it nice and vibey.

First time visitor last Saturday to this location and we loved it! We were there early, so not many people in, but friendly and helpful staff, great venue and the music was just fab! The resident funky and very talented drummer and his groovy bass player friend were superb. We will definitely be visiting again, and often!
