The best restaurants in England

I have tried to visit this place 3 times in the last month (the times the restaurant is supposed to be open according to your website). There will be no fourth attempt. Lack of professionalism and total disregard for the customer's time.

This place is SPECIAL! I have eaten in hundreds of places and loads of Italians… even in Italy… so I like to think I know what is authentic and really good food and drink. Robertos is worth travelling from london for, just for a meal! Not even joking. Superior place. Homecooked, first class cuisine and fabulous service from staff who really care. Great prices and a beautiful vibe and atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back and visit!

Lovely grounds brilliant cafe food good coffee good defo worth a visit

I try to avoid Spanish places in the UK as I am not the demographic they are going for, usually they adapt things from Spanish cuisine to British tastes, preconceptions, and ingredient availability. Despite that I ended up coming to this restaurant and I have to admit that some dishes were pretty good! The Patatas bravas were missing the alioli and the Spanish omelette was a bit dry and salty, but the ham was good and the croquettes were amazing! The service was very attentive and have to deal with a very raucous clientele on these dates of massive Christmas dinners, so all my respect and admiration for them!

Went for my fiancés birthday meal, he was greeted with a Happy Birthday and surprised us with a dessert on the house. Even though it was just added onto the booking, the staff checked or remembered on arrival which was very thoughtful. We got chateaubriand with stilton sauces and sides cauliflower cheese and onion rings, pork ribs and mushrooms for starters and it was the best! Food was amazing, service and cocktails. Really enjoyed ourselves will definitely be returning. Thank you so much!

I regularly visit Bandidos, and it has become one of my favorite spots for dining. The food is consistently of excellent quality, with every dish prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. What truly sets Bandidos apart, though, is the staff. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience, whether it’s with their warm welcome, attentive service, or readiness to accommodate any special requests. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. If you’re looking for a place that offers delicious food paired with outstanding service, Bandidos is the place to go. One again Vivo didn’t fail to impress. A very large party of friends, food as good as ever and serv3d by friendly, efficient staff.

I had Jalfrezi and chicken tikka masala and I was surprised at how delicious it was!!!! I fell in love with curry thanks to the jalfrezi I ate here💜

We came here on a recommendation on a Thursday 2.00 pm lunch treat. Unfortunately it wasn’t great from the start, there wasn’t any heating apart from a struggling log burner and an electric portable, which by the way we managed to sit at the table two feet away and still debated about putting our coats back on. I ordered the roast turkey , which I was told straight away that it was turkey roll not slices of breast but I was fine with that. When it arrived it was two slices of turkey, four parsnips and a small sweet potato, hardly enough for a child, it was tasty but disappointing. So on to desert… we were both going to order the banoffee pie as it’s one of our favourites but after discussing it with the waitress and hearing that it actually came what she called “ deconstructed “ crushed biscuit in one area ice cream on another and a caremelised banana to one side.. hardly banoffee pie as I know and love we opted out and went for the crumble.. can’t go wrong with crumble we thought.. oh dear got that wrong .. who leaves the skins on the pears when making a crumble.. it’s as if the chef is changing the recipe just for the sake of it when not necessary.its a pub not fu fu restaurant.sorry didn’t take any photos.wont be returning but after this review I expect they won’t want us back.
