Absolute garbage to what it used to be. The prices are scandalous and the food isn't the best. Used to be an amazing chippy this. Won't be going again ❌️

Phone orders are ready quickly. The choice is great. The halloumi gyros are delicious.

Happened to be in the area this evening and called in for fish and chips. £7 very reasonable. And tasty too. Plan to return in next few days for Greek kebabs for my gyros mad nephews. The young lass serving is a credit to the business too. 👏👏👏

Food was great although portion sizes left a little to be desired

Had two gyros; one chicken and one chicken with halloumi. Both incredibly tasty. Our friends recommended we visit for a bit of Greek take away and we loved it. Also does all the usual chippy stuff too.

Friendly Chippy Well organised Order service

So just been here and spent just shy of £30 and it was shocking. Never had a problem be4. The chip's was awful. Hardly any gravy. The chips cheese and gravy for the kids. Well 🤦‍♀️ my grandson won't even touch it. Money may as well gone in the bin. I had to add .y own gravy just so i had some decent amount on it!

Travelled from St Helens for the best Greek Gyros I've ever had! Absolutely fantastic! Their Halumi fries are spot on too!

Gyros was amazing and had really authentic flavour, it is run by a lovely Greek family who were super friendly. We were recommended to go here by a friend and I would definitely recommend it to others. Tzatziki was also fantastic this is a must eat!!! We will be back thanks 😊

Been coming to this chippy for years. The staff have always been incredibly welcoming and happy and helpful. They have an excellent children's menu. And have a good price range. It's always freshly cooked.

Worst chippy I've been to in Oldham. Won't be going again! Soggy chips, over cooked chicken which was dry as hell. Don't recommend it to anyone.

My daughter just moved to this area and thought we would try this chippy. Food is amazing. It does get busy but its run so well and so efficiently you don't wait long. There is normally a bit of free banter from the owner going on as well so if you do have a short wait it's quite funny. Definitely our new favourite chippy you won't be disappointed.

I work all over the North West driving a van Dropped on this place at dinner time, I needed chips and curry sauce Went in and seen they do chicken and pork Gyros Ordered the mixed one The guy asked if I'd had one before from him I said no He said you will be back And guess what Every time I'm working in Oldham I'm in there 🤣🤣🤣 Guys are a great laugh, food is top notch and good value See you again soon 👍👍

Chips still hard even though covered in gravy!! Chicken burger half size actual muffin!! It is deffinatly NOT worth the prices charged absolutely gutted 😭

Mixed meat platter is good and great value for money

Had pudding peas and gravy and a scallop. Pudding was not hot, peas were hard and scallop had thick, hard batter and was cold. Overall very unimpressed. Would not eat from here again.

I previously had a good takeaway from this chippy, but last night I was bitterly disappointed. I ordered cod, chips and mushy peas. When I arrived home I discovered that all three items had been put in one polystyrene container with the chips on the bottom, the peas in the middle and the fish on top. The result was that they were all welded together in one lump. When I tried to separate them the batter came off the fish and the peas were inextricably mixed with the chips. The chips were soggy and none was bigger than an inch long, little more than "scratchings". The peas were hard and undercooked and the fish was tasteless. I suspect it wasn't even cod. I shan't be visiting this chippy again.

Best chippy in oldham by far, we always have a good laugh with the staff, and the food is always spot on, especially the gyros they are amazing

The food tonight wasn't as good as usually is both the fish were dry and the chips were a funny colour we couldn't eat it.

Very rude and unprofessional staff could see we were waiting to order out food not one of them came to take our order

Came over from Lincolnshire to visit and had heard so much about this place from locals.Parking was easy and was greeted by friendly staff.As per review recommended, I went for the pork gyros platter and the wife had the chicken gyros.Can definitely recommend both,as good as the hype and plentyfull,with great chippy chips.Will definitely be calling in on way over next time we visit.

Excellent chippy and especially the Gyro!

I'd never had rag pudding before and was curious to try one. I drove to Oldham especially and found Watersheddings, where I ordered the rag plus chips and a battered sausage. Everything was delicious! The chips especially; the perfect combination of potato-y and crunchy, which is rare. And the rag - I'd definitely have one again. Beyond the food, quick service and very friendly staff. Just beware it's cash-only, so don't get caught out like I did! :)

Best Chippy going, large portions and lovely helpful staff, large queues at busy times but that just shows how good the food is, well worth the wait and pretty quick considering how long the queues can get.

Jjust spent 27 pounds and the chips were a disgrace. The chips have been refryed. Will not go there again.

I've always got good food they have a wide range of food more than average chippy and you can phone in your order so you don't have to wait for your food to be cooked and things like fish and burgers don't sit in a hot tray and are fresh

They do pea soup & their 🐠 & 🍟's are excellent!! New menu items recently added!! Now open Mon to Sat, from 11am straight through to 9pm. Gone are the days of the 2pm till 4pm closing. I believe a Sunday opening maybe on the cards to in the future too. What more could you ask for?
