Rice & P's in Oldham

Used to come here all the time and as the other review sated it true the portion size has dramatically dropped and the food isn't the same anymore

Poorly run business not open when they state they should be. Not good when you're craving the scran. Sort yourselves out.

The food here has always be very good each time, so they have consistency with food quality. I like the style of the restaurant feels like a micro shack but this plastic screen they have needs to go! Feels like prison chat room or something. The card reader machine has been an issue for weeks now and I've told the story to a friend about how it's going to not work and the guy will fiddle with the wires and consequently say I don't know why he's not replaced this... The device costs about £60! For the time wasted and stress on customers just get it sorted! Parking can't be tricky depending how busy the area is but generally you'll get a spot on a street somewhere. I had jerk chicken with rice which has a good kick to it spice wise plus the coleslaw is also very nice. Think the small portion price could be less as I'd come here everyday otherwise.

1st time I've been since it's been under new management i am disappointed as the food was always fantastic before the change. I had a large jerk chicken rice n p's, the portion was half the size it used to be there was hardly any jerk chicken and there was no jerk sauce so the rice was bland and dry. Hope this was just a one off, will call again next week to see if any different. I do hope so as it was a fabulous place before

Can't move I'm so full. Outstanding portions and amazing flavours. One of the best I've ever tried. Very reasonable price also. Ordered a mix of meals with rice and peas.

My first time of trying Caribbean food and defo won’t be the last 😃😃 We had Curried Chicken, Peppered Steak,, Meat Patties,Chips and Rice n Peas Succulent ,Juicy ,Tasty, Massive Portions, Full Of Flavour I could go on all day with compliments. This place will definitely be getting more visits from us in the future. Thank you for making our first Caribbean experience a memorable one 😃😃

Fantastic place as soon as you get through the door, the vibe is good with the music and the colours, the staff are friendly and down to earth, and finally the food is top notch as well with generous portions. There’s nothing to complain about.

Just had rice and P's for lunch with my work mates and how nice. We have been planning it all week and not disappointed. Phoned through the order first and was ready on arrival. Between us we had a variety Jerk Chicken, curry Chicken, peppered steak, curry goat, patties, plantain and all more than happy and full at the end. There is an option for small or large and we all went for small and very full when we finished. The owner was very nice and more than willing to advise us on our choice. The food was so tasty and will definitely be returning very soon.

Me and my brother go here often. The service and food is good quality, home cooked and fresh & tastes just how it supposed to with authenticity
