A fabulous authentic Italian dining experience! We really enjoyed our meal here. Although vegan options were limited, I had a truly delicious pasta dish. The service was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. I really can't fault it. A really memorable visit.

Had a lovely meal Saturday night. Place had a great vibe, staff very friendly and helpful, food was delicious all four meals top notch.

It was really two great evenings we had. The food was delicious and the service was polite, friendly and relaxed. The food, the service and the atmosphere in the restaurant were as they should be. The price-quality ratio is also very good. Next time I'm in Oldham again I'll eat there again.

Just outside the town centre of Oldham whilst not very easy to park as in on street car park unless you don't mind walking about 5 mins from the larger mumps interchange carpark, it does have very easy reach public transport. Inside is nicely decorated and warm, staff very friendly and attentive. Drinks flowed and reasonably priced for our party of 8. Food was absolutely superb could not find fault really hit the mark on every course all three including the side dishes. Toilets (because lets face it we all visit) clean respectable yet bijou that was the gents at any rate. Prices were reasonable and as you would expect for an Italian restaurant but very much worth that night out be it work related or something special. Would recommend

Another lovely meal at this excellent restaurant. 6 members of my family present and an early evening meal with our 8 year old granddaughter..booked a table for 4.30PM..unusually so as when we adults attend it's 7 30pm. Great ambience..no superstars with emotionally fragile egos....all respectful,decent family people and the food exceptional. Garlic bread etc to start followed by risottos and lasagne with ice cream and liquer coffees and we'll maintained beer throughout proceedings. Good consistent standards at this establishment..friendly and polite over the phone with no hassle on arrival. Miguel a superb Manager..very good with names and treats customers with respect and dignity at all times.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations, even as someone who's typically very discerning about food. The attentive service and delicious dishes were a delightful surprise, especially considering the reasonable prices.

Lovely friendly restaurant, been on several occasions now 2 Xmas parties and teas out with a friend, always very welcoming, reasonable price, great food never had a bad meal and always happy to do me a doggy bag for home 😊would highly recommend this restaurant they also have a branch in Norden so if booking over the phone don't forget to check which place you're booking as staff are authentic Italians there English is good but good to clarify 👌will look forward to returning again soon,

Staff was very polite and respectful. The carbonara was soooo good!!! I fell in love with the carbonara it was amazing . Only downside is that the restaurant is way too packed and noisy so I could barely hear my friends speak but other than that everything was perfect

Stocco is just amazing the service second to none but the food just wow . They don’t need reviews as the place is always packed out but thought I’d drop a line and a few pics Bravo stocco my new favourite place Been a few more times since first review Saturday 17/3/2024 new pics added another top meal . Only one slight criticism is that I had to ask a couple of times for things that should have been done immediately BUT it was a busy Saturday night . Note to waiters if customers pile empty plates ready for collection don’t return to the kitchen empty handed ! They did this annoyingly a few times but it’s the food that’s spot on the lamb shank went down well the sea bass was enjoyed but my seafood risotto was just ok nothing special . Still like the place but some dishes obviously better than others

Had dinner here on the evening of mothers day. The service was excellent as was the food and atmosphere. The portions were large and both my daughter and I were unable to eat it all. I would thoroughly recommend dining here.

Stocoo had become our regular restaurant for occasions the food is seocnd to none with a keen professional waiting service. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you. Went with the family for a birthday treat. Antipasti and garlic bread was spot on, pasta meals are lovely and super filling, yet again a great meal! Went for a team lunch and really enjoyed the food. Over estimated the portions and was well and truly full. Out of Oldham's venues for me it's high upvsg the top Had our annual Christmas lunch at Stocco and was really enjoyed by all, the steak was fantastic!! Regularly visit for team events, service and food is brilliant!

Very genuine Italian in the heart of Oldham Centre. Fantastic food that would rival anything you could find in Central Manchester with friendly, quick service. Lively atmosphere without being too loud. Equally perfect for a date night or a Birthday Party. Will definitely come again. Steak fillet was spectacular and the kitchen were able to accommodate request for Diane sauce. Great food for a special occasion.

Only ordered the takeaway for Valentines day food was amazing and at a great price service was excellent already looking to book to eat in as it looked really nice inside would highly recommend

I have to be honest, Service was poor. Kept sending food and drinks to different tables. Starter was tasty but Luke warm at best. Mains was a Duck pasta, Duck was in cubes and pasta was undercooked. Sweets selection is poor so didn't bother. Don't mind paying for quality, but this wasn't it unfortunately.

Really nice italian with a good price point wish there was more chocolatie things on the deserts menu but im a bit childish so 😅 the cheese cake was delightful though

Stocco is the best Italian restaurant in Greater Manchester 😋 I love the seafood variety and the calamari was spot on, as was the service and all the dishes. Worth a visit and I will visit again!

Everything was spot on about this place, we were looking for somewhere local, I enjoyed my meal out with the girls, we couldn’t talk because the food was too good! It had been a very long time since I enjoyed my food like this. We didn’t expect this place to be on point! Will be coming back with more people!

Usual Christmas madness. Very busy night and staff run off their feet. Food ok and everyone on our table enjoyed what they got. Prices reasonable too.

Fantastic experience, Italian approved! I was really impressed with both food quality and staff service, it’s been all amazing from start to end! I really loved finding the tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale, very well executed. I totally enjoyed it and will certainly be back!

So sorry to say as this has always been our go to for a lovely meal, don't know ifthey have taken the chef to new place, the meal we had last night was very poor, will we go again? Maybe everybody can have a bad night but hopefully back to how it was.

Loved it. Had prawns to start which were large and good sized portion, carbonara was creamy, full of lardons and shared a tiramisu - amazing. Had a taste of my wife’s mushroom risotto. Wow! Don’t actually like mushrooms but it was a taste sensation.

We don't eat out a lot, but we do love it here, suits all the families different tastes in food, staff friendly, food great.

I have to apologise in advance to the staff at Stocco for this review. The food as always was excellent. The staff were also first class. The downside (as another reviewer has stated) was the noise level. It seemed like a bad idea to put a party of 16 people (7 of which were young children) right in the middle of the restaurant. The noise level was horrendous. We honestly could not hear anything within our own party due to this.

Had a great meal this afternoon table for eight. Great service, good food, and a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend this restaurant

I love this restaurant, the only bad thing to say is they don’t use sun dried tomatoes, i have ordered a few things now with sun dried tomatoes because I love them but when my food arrives it’s cherry tomatoes in the dish! It either needs changing on the menu or they need to use what it says in the dish! But i would still go back I love the food and atmosphere

Excellent service, well trained attentive staff, and good food. Glad I've finally found somewhere a stones throw from my house that's worth a visit. I will be back again I'm just deciding if it should be this week or next! Also a special mention to our waiter (I beleive he was called alex) I couldn't fault him! The only 2 things I would say is the Lobster ravioli was under seasoned and the tiramisu wasn't too great but I can live with that

came here for my mums birthday meal and it was so lovely, the staff couldn’t do enough for us so friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing value for money and the staff even sang happy birthday for my mum, couldn’t have asked for anything more would recommend xx

If you like fish and seafood definitely go for Zuppa Di Pesce. Great tasting but also fantastic value

This is by far the best Italian restaurant in town. There were 8 of us and we all loved the food. I was semi disappointed that they were out of the lobster ravioli, but in the end was SO glad I got to enjoy the risotto alla norcina. It was so very good. Service was fabulous. Ranks up there as one of my favorite restaurants. Will most definitely be back.

1st time here, loved the atmosphere the service the food, and of course the lemoncello spritzer! We even had a dance as we were last in! It is expensive but it's worth every penny. I'm vegetarian and had the risotto, its very filling.

Can't fault Stocco, great service the waiting staff were great, food was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended

What a hidden gem of Oldham this is. We booked a large group table for my partners birthday and every single one of us was blown away with the food and the service. All dishes were 10/10 and arrived very prompt. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond. Will be returning and would defo recommend.

Stocco's is consistently good. There have been occasions when I've had to send a dish back and the waiter has questioned my (or my company's) judgement. Thankfully the supervisor has taken charge and resolved the issues satisfactory. As I say, it is 'occasionaly' and by no means frequent. We are always welcomed and we attend every couple of months or so. Well recommended.

Was bustling on Saturday night - had a large birthday party in and a couple of times it did get quite loud but food was excellent. My girlfriend had the swordfish and I had a risotto and we both thought the dishes were fantastic. Can also recommend the pistachio cheesecake!

Food was really good, but we didn't realise veg and potatoes not included maybe when orders being taken waiters could ask if people realised, it was cold in restaurant and being not far from door every time it opened a very cold draft, will definitely visit again maybe wait until it's warmer.

The food and staff was really good

All 4 main courses were quick to arrive and very tasty and well cooked. The service was friendly and efficient. The carbonara was a little oily but still tasted good. The boar and duck tagliatelle was succulent and mixed well with the tomato sauce. The mushroom and truffle oil ravioli was creamy and very tasty. Will be dining here again in future.

Fabulous food with a nice atmosphere. Menu is offering a great deal of choices. We had garlic bread and olives for starter then fillet, rib eye and veal with risotto for the main along with 2 bottles of wine, all delicious! Finished with sorbetto and tiramisu with espresso. Really enjoyed the meal and the night. Looking forward to visit here again!

Excellent place to eat. Great atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the wild boar ragu tagliatelle...definitely one to try.

Our first time in Oldham to visit the theatre and Stocco was a fabulous find. Obviously a favourite for pre theatre food, and we weren't disappointed. Highly recommended with lovely food at a good price

Had an amazing time here! In our opinion, the pastas we had did need to be cooked a little more though as it was hard :)
