No.81 Indian restaurant in Burnley

Recently moved into the area and fancied trying No81 as we’ve not yet dined out in the local restaurants yet. WOW! Food was absolutely 10/10!! As fresh as it can get! The staff were also amazing, extremely attentive, and also liked a good laugh and a chat. It was a busy Sunday night, with a large party in too, yet the staff were very apologetic for the “wait” on our main courses, yet we didn’t feel like we were waiting long at all.. our drinks were kept filled, and the atmosphere was great, so we were rather content. They had a £10 per person 2 course offer on, and this is a MEGA bargain for the masses of food that we got! Six hours later we’re still on the sofa in a food coma. We will definitely be back!!

10 of us went tonight for the £10 meal deal. Poppadams and pickles, choice of starter. Main course. Rice or naan bread. We shared rice and naan. Food was fantastic. Service friendly. Great value for money. Enough food for lunch tomorrow 😋

1st time we have been to this fantastic restaurant.....went with our very close friends & we all agreed 5* all round from entering to leaving...the restaurant is lovely & meticulously clean, the staff are extremely attentive but not overwhelming....the food out of this world & we all had something completely different.... I'm vegetarian & my food was beautiful presented beautifully, hot & served at the same time..... thankyou very much to all the staff 😀 cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.... India 81 was recommend to us & I'm so glad we've been... Padiham has a little jewel in the centre.... go visit you won't be disappointed at all.....

We arrived in Padiham early evening after a very long drive, and just wanted somewhere to sit and eat, we could not have chosen a better place. The menu had plenty of choice we had starters and a main course both we would highly recommend. The service was very attentive without being too much, and would also add very good taste in music ! Never been here before, we will be coming back, cannot recommed N0 81 enough.

Cant rate highly enough. Starters were excellent. Prawn and mango puri and mixed kebab. Chicken Harabara top class. Definitely be back to try more!

A bit disappointed this time, I order nearly every week, it was cold, there wasn’t much rice in tray and complementary poppodoms were soft .

Food was great, only down fall was it needed warming up in microwave but I would definitely order again

First visit. We had a celebration dinner with our 2 sons, Daughter-in-law, sister and both grandchildren. 3 courses for £10 was a non starter. Me my Husband and sister all had Chicken Harijabi with pilua rice which was delicious. Everyone of us enjoyed our meals. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even got a bottle of Prosecco for our 50th Anniversary. Thanks you allat No.81

Ordered takeaway from here one lazy evening and it was a brilliant choice. Everything that we ordered was enjoyed by the adults and children at home. The lamb in the biryani was tender and flavourful and our chicken was aromatic and juicy. Everything from the poppadoms to the butter chicken was delicious. The staff I spoke with were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be ordering again.

Absolutely BRILLIANT Indian Restaurant located in the centre of Padiham with plenty of free parking in the immediate area. The food is just about the best we`ve tasted when it comes to top quality, freshly-cooked Indian cuisine and the service is always second to none. Fantastic offers throughout the week, applied to an already very reasonably-priced menu, representing excellent value for money. Highly recommended and takes an Indian Restaurant dining experience to another level. Takeaway and delivery service also available if you don`t fancy dining in.

Got this as a delivery. We are staying locally for the weekend so tried it based on good reviews. Food arrived in the allotted time and the food was delicious. The best Indian takeaway I have had in a long time. The chicken tikka masala was delicious and had so much flavour as did the madras and rogan Josh. 10/10. Just gutted we don’t live near by to have it again.

First time there, very impressed..I was with my daughter and her family including a 2yr old boy, nothing was too much trouble..The food was lovely and service prompt..staff very nice and atmosphere was good too.. Will return again.

Excellent on all fronts. We normally have it delivered and it has become our favourite Indian restaurant. The food is tasty, delivered hot and good value. Tandoori is one of the best I have ever had. I was previously a food critic, so it's nice to have some great restaurants I can relieve on for fantastic meals.

Bland food suffering from shrinkflation, but still charged, the waiter said "it is what it is" we actually went to jaipur restaurant just up the road for some proper food reasonably priced with a far superior atmosphere and service

Had my first experience of this little Gem today. What a little find. Great service and excellent food, great choice and some real novelty dishes. Naga bite was awesome

First time visiting here, and it definitely won't be the last. Went with a group of friends for a midweek surprise birthday meal (a couple of whom had been before and recommended it). Great location with plenty of free parking nearby, nice and relaxed decor and spotlessly clean. Between the 9 of us we had around 5 different starters and 6 different mains (plus a couple of duplicates) - all of which were really tasty, well seasoned and well portioned and reasonably priced, but the star of the show was the service...... Wonderfully friendly, efficient and attentive without ever being over bearing. I'd fully recommend a visit and I'll definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a great evening 👍

Excellent small restaurant in the centre of Padiham. Food is always top quality and the staff very friendly and efficient. There is a large menu catering for all tastes - from mild to very hot and plenty of choice for vegans and vegetarians. The only drawback is that toilets are upstairs so not suitable for disabled customers.

Was notified that the order was on its way and just short of 45 mins later it still hadn’t arrived, called and they stated driver was here and was confident food would be hot. Driver did apologise for how long it took, unfortunately starter tasted like a tub of salt had been poured over it and was inedible and went straight in the bin, naan bread was cold and hard. Curry was lukewarm but unfortunately because of the salty starter was ruined as that’s all could taste

Excellent food even when ordering from the early bird special offer menu. Portion size is plentiful. The most delicious garlic nan ever ( in our opinions ). Great service, met with smiles on entering, owner took time to chat. Wine by the bottle very inexpensive. Went for a friends birthday, received complimentary Baileys, lovely gesture. First time there and well impressed. We will be back very, very soon.

Food was good and arrived earlier than expected. Dad was stuffed before finishing his Naan bread. And the delivery time meant I had time to kill before food arrived. (Left Atmosphere Stars out as I had the food delivered)

They only accept cash which is a bit annoying very small inside . Curries were quite expensive but did enjoy them just found portions were quite small considering the cost of the food . Would go again though

I have been going to no.81 Indian restaurant for years, Ali and his team are great, it’s the best curry around. They always look after us and make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend the chicken pathia.
