Very busy pub on this Saturday. Sat outside for a swift pint of Endless Summer by Black Iris brewery.

Eastwood is a great place for micro pubs and this one is one of the best

Great selection of real ales; pale ale, bitter and usually a dark, and a log burning stove to gaze into. Didn't have any food, so I can't comment. Very close to the Trent Barton R1 bus stop, opposite Eastwood Library. Well worth a visit. Friendly professional staff. Rear beer garden with several wooden benches and partly covered to offer protection from the elements.

First visit for a long time, beer is good and worth the visit, friendly staff and not over busy during our visit.

Very helpful staff who kept my husbands bus pass until he could return for it. Most places would have binned it. He says the beer is good, I've never been!

Love this pub. A classic micro pub, just beer, drinks, no food or faff and very friendly.

Lovely spot, and dog friendly so you can take your lovely Spot. Great selection of beers and ales, wonderful atmosphere. And right over the road from the library! Perfect.

I just love the game keeper for its locale and pricing, normally has at least 5 cask and two keg , but can be a little loud as its normally full of vocal locals, but definitely worth a visit for it's well kept ales .

Exceptionally good size micro pub serving very good local ales and a good range of ciders, spirits etc. Has an outdoor space too and a log burner inside. One of the best micro type pubs in this town.

This place is a hive of activity early doors ! And this seems to be the Real Ale drinkers prime time for a few jars of quality ale of which there is a good selection to choose from ! Give it a try !

Friendly staff, but I find it a smelly place lately, it's the dogs they let in, nothing against dogs but I am allergic and it makes me sneeze and is very stuffy...

having the bar where it is sucks you into the bar in a great way

Superb! These micro pubs should be everywhere. Real ales and the ciders are cracking. The rhubarb cider is recommended be me.

Very friendly staff and this micro pub offers some well kept beers. Like too many new pubs the lighting is too bright, so one feels like a rabbit in headlights. Dim the lights please for a cosier atmosphere and we'll come back.
