Visited for Sunday lunch with Mucky's and it was fabulous! Great food, good sized portion and great service. Only down size was beer choice not to our liking and only postmix diet coke so not much option of low sugar drinks if you don't like posmix. Would not put us off going again and will be trying the Sunday Lunch again even though it's changed

Fabulous real ale pub, relaxing bar and lounge rooms. Live entertainment draws a good crowd in on a regular basis. Have an outdoor area and marque (available to hire out for parties) would recommend to all Lager, Real Ale + Cider drinkers. Busiest pub in Kimberley, especially in the evenings when those in the centre close early!

Nice real ale pub. They made cobs for a walking group. Nothing too much trouble. Beer was really good

Went in Christmas day. It was very busy, was full but did get a table. good selection of beers available.

New landlord is not a nice person horrible to staff and verry rude and rude to customers it’s verry sad used to be an amazing pub

Friendly local friendly pub, with great range of drinks including cask ales (some locally brewed). A regular haunt of ours even though we don't live in the locality!

Decent local pub with a wide range of bottled and draught beers and ciders. Child and dog friendly.

Lovely traditional pub with large outside rear area. Apparently new owners and Sunday lunch is back on again, but confirm first as got info from a customer.. There was a "Burger style" van to the side with outdoor seating and was good for a snack or meal after a good walk, but as food in pub is back on this may not be there now.

Went to white lion for their new year Eve party, brilliant atmosphere, a lovely buffet and music, staff are very friendly. Also went for Sunday lunch on new year day, couldn’t fault the food it was delicious, and prices are good,

Lovely team here, and decent prices too. Outdoor area which is family friendly, esp when they have their bouncy castle up. The locals are good for a chat too. Fab place, well worth a visit.

Onley had a pint when out walking but very nice pub.

Went here for a friend's birthday party. . .they had a tribute band laid on. . .and it was quite a hot day, but not the hottest day. . .its a smallish place, with a lovely beer garden but very atmospheric. . .the landlord and staff are very lovely and friendly. . .will visit on a regular basis *****

Family have been for an afternoon walk from Kimberley so Strelley hall. On the way back we decided to call in the White Lion for refreshments. It was a very nice sunny Sunday, so we sat in the beer garden at the rear. We met up with people we know and grandson was having a great time playing with other children. The beer was nice and fresh and for these days was at a good cost. Due to Covid not been there for quite a time, but will sure be going again.

Far better new people have it now. Decent buzzer once again even more so as Graham and Yvonne don't use it. Bonus

Lots of outdoor space, it looks like when the live music returns, this would be a great place. Prices are average. I will be returning.

Great traditional beer on tap friendly staff needs some local support or it could easily be another one on the closure list. Hope not 5*

Lovely friendly bar staff, ice cold beer. What more could you want?

We stopped off at the pub for a drink after walking from Strelley Village. The lady behind the bar made us feel very welcome. The pub is decorated to a high standard and the garden is cheerful and clean with some lovely hanging baskets. We will definately be back and will have food next time.

One of my favourite pubs with great beer.went in at 6 o'clock on Thursday,it was quiet ,just six people in, but there was a lot of foul language. I finished my pint and went, shame,I like that pub.

A proper community hub, excellent real ale, in my opinion the best ale I've tasted in a long time.

A fantastic place to grab a pint in great company. The transformation of this place is amazing and all credit to Graham and Yvonne for all the initial hard work and everyone else for carrying it on.

Great little pub...Large choice of beers and friendly staff...Reasonable prices and loads of free parking..Close to open fields and local walking areas..well worth a visit...

I like the place very much. But why cannot the drink you are buying be served in the appropriate glass. Peroni goes flat served in a bitter glass! Then served in a wine glass still went flat. Come on we are in wollaton raise the game.

We had our wedding reception at The White Lion, when we arrived there had been an issue heating the marquee meaning it was on the cold side. The pub staff invited us in to the pub to continue the evening reception which made for a cracking atmosphere! Good beer, cider & hospitality!

Been a number of times for a meal and enjoyed it every time. Excellent food, great beer and a good atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.
