everything was exemplary from the welcome we received on arrival, to the food, and drink. even the manager taking time to listen and talk to my husband was just lovely.

I think its gone downhill. Its a bit tired looking now. Service was variable, (greeting and taking order was very matter of fact) vegetables were undercooked, ( not just al dente) modest meat portion. for the pub food you get its also a bit overpriced. When you get a big menu like here you know there will be a lot of short cuts. Tables can be quite squeezed Have eaten here a reasonable amount because in this area there is not a huge choice and it does have a good sized car park. Bottom line not worth going out of your way for.

Lovel choice of meals and thourly enjoyed the meals that the ones that we had. W had a table with nice views acroos Sandown Bay.

Nice food and drinks, good selection on the menu, and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend the Chicken Parmigiana

Amazing coffee and food at this location ice cream to die for love it

Went to Kota Kai recently for a meal with my partner. Food was excellent and atmosphere was lovely. We were also served by Molly who was welcoming, kind, and attentive. Would absolutely recommend and can only hope that Molly and the rest of the staff receive the recognition that they deserve! :)

He valorado este restaurante durante mucho tiempo. No salimos tan a menudo como solíamos hacerlo. Así que mi familia y yo nos esforzamos y reservamos para mi cumpleaños. El propietario / gerente, que siempre ha sido extremadamente amable y hospitalario, no era el mismo en su comportamiento - algo estaba mal. El camarero fue bueno con nosotros. Nos dimos cuenta de que los precios eran más altos, pero ese es el caso en todas partes ahora... Pedimos, pero todo era tan salado - nuestro error todavía lo comimos, ya que teníamos tanta hambre! Nos quejamos al final y si mi memoria me sirve bien, £ 5 fue quitado de la cuenta. La vez anterior, había un pedazo de plástico en mi comida que mencioné al gerente, pero no se ofreció ninguna forma de compensación. Simplemente ya no me siento bien con este lugar y la comida no vale el dinero. Desafortunadamente, no volveremos a ir allí, ya que nos ha encantado y tenemos muchos recuerdos geniales. Adiós Otomano.

Tried this one after being to their other pub The Plough Inn and this too was exceptional. Food is just divine, atmosphere lovely and cozy and fantastic service. Really cannot recommend this " chain" highly enough, every single visit all parties have left absolutely raving about it.

Food was freezing and missing my drink

We went here in saturday night and were extremely happy with our decision, the restaurant looked amazing inside and outside with all the Xmas decorations, the staff were very attentive and happy, the food was absolutely amazing !!!! We started with the halloumi fries and sautéed mushrooms which were perfect, then for main we had the surf and turf platter which was fantastic, I can’t say anything negative about this restaurant and would definitely recommend it to anyone and will definitely be returning again soon 👍🏻

Was very excited to try this but sadly it's permanently closed I was told by their neighbors. It does not exist anymore.

Stopped off here on an Ashbourne/Thorpe/Tissington Trail circular walk. Friendly welcome and outstanding food. I had an Indian starter and main which was delicious. Dog friendly too.
