The best restaurants in England

Just returned to the Thai Kitchen at the Pineapple, which I've frequented for some years and always been v pleased--until tonight. Took the wrong order and blamed me/us for the confusion when it was the kitchen's fault. My husband ordered the Masaman curry, an old favourite, which had no potatoes although they're a staple of the dish. We won't be going back to eat. And we'll be sure to tell our friends.

Patatas Bravas were so good. Relaxed atmosphere Great value Super wine We had nearly all the tapas dishes. What's not to like.

Went with a couple of friends of mine for a Christmas dinner. We didn’t have an issue with starter or the sweet. The staff were lovely. But can someone tell me why when you choose beef it has to be red in the middle. Then your given a steak knife with a serrated edge to cut it which failed miserably .It makes no sense. You might say I should have complained but why should I upset a waitress when she had nothing to do with it. This very rarely happens when you order a carvery in a pub. Sorry for the rant but at £45 a head I think we deserved better. Would have been a 2 rating had it not been for the good service Bob

We booked a table 5.15 . We were greeted by simon always has smile on his face. Food was amazing as always and service was fantastic as usual. Will be back . Highly recommended

Really nice place to visit, food was excellent and a good range of drink. Well worth a visit to this market town in Cheshire.

We had a lovely meal here. I had the bruschetta (gluten free) and the penne. The bruschetta was so fresh and delicious!!

Attentive service and comfortable surroundings. The quality of drinks and food is excellent. We recommend.

Was in there Saturday night for a meal with some friends,not eaten all day,the next morning being sick everywhere,safe to say will not be back

Food excellent. Fresh ingredients and no rubbish. Menu excellent. Service and ambience superb. Had chilli prawns with was heaven.

Lovely meal, the lady who served us was SO lovely! We told her we had a special celebration and she joined us with a cheers! Couldn’t thank her enough! Food was lovely.
