Really good Suffolk County Ale from Nethergate brewery served in great condition

Very surprised at how welcoming and friendly the Royal Exchange was. Geared up for sports fans but that's okay. Food was really nice and good value. Excellent pint of Nethergate.

Great pub! Good ales, live sport on multiple screens and, probably, the most attractive barmaid (Ella) in East Anglia! Shame about the loud, swearing, politically incorrect, males in the bar.......... but I guess they're just typical?

Great local place heart of the community and safe

Old fashioned Street side pub. Good choice of cask real ales. Friendly and efficient service. Didn't try the food, wrong time of day.

Great pub with good beer, good service, decent prices and an old fashioned "locals" buzz. Haverhill isn't badly served when it comes to pubs, the there's more than a few decent ones but this is the place for me.

Came in with my mate Peanut, great bar, lots of TV's to watch sport on, nice pint of Moretti 🍺

We Payed £17 for a round of drinks then proceeded to take a sip then go for a cigarette once we came back they had been tipped away. We argued that they should be replaced as we were gone 2 minutes but they told us to buy more

1st time we've been to this pub. Nice pub, very busy, more of a football pub, clean and nice staff.

First time I went in felt very welcome by all staff. Visit twice a week now just for the chat.

Friendly environment, cheery and helpful staff. Great beer selection. Local Ales on tap, like old peculiar and Suffolk County bitter. Spacious pub, with plenty of seating. Quite a few tvs when I went there showing sports.

Nice bar staff, great beer, I love real ale and got it here, food was good portions, my only little advice would be to try real hand cut chips instead of the French Fry type, but will go back there when I am back in Haverhill, 4/5

Excellent pub and for allowing my little dog Leo who was made welcome and he was made such a fuss and I'll be going back again. Nice atmosphere and very friendly people land lady was excellent in welcoming me and Leo into her pub, also gave my dog water which I appreciated well, other pubs in town won't allow my dog, your sincerely William ie Billy mcnicholl

In the pub today my dog was suffering from the heat landlord hosed him down and the concern from staff and customers was outstanding

Small range of well kept ales at a reasonable price. Friendly place with parking nearby. Shame there's no food on a weekday lunch time. A cheese and onion roll would have gone down a treat today.

Great pub,large interior with lots of tv's showing multiple football games. Seems as the older locals use one bar and the younger ones use the bar with the pool table. Was made to feel very welcome by the landlady and the great bar staff. Close to an amazing Indian restaurant/takeaway.

Loved the atmosphere of this pub. Seemed to be oldies (like me 40+) out front and youngsters out back. Sport on the tv 's and well priced drinks. Worked well as a pub crawl pub 😁

One of the few original (well from when i grew up there) pubs left in Haverhill. Friendly staff and maintained what I like about a pub, good ale, cosy surroundings and not a curry club night in sight!

Friendliest pub me and my partner have been to in haverhill. Really cosy place with a 20p charity heating in. How lovely so u pay 20p and the money goes to charity aswell as heating you up. lovely.plus dogs are aloud will devo visit again. Thankyou guys.

A proper pub, easily the best place to watch football in the area. Good prices, friendly staff and the guv'na likes his boxing which is evident throughout. Probably my favourite pub in the world!!

Enjoy the feel of a busy local atmosphere, tv sport (2 large t.v screen, 2 small t.v screens) available here. This is not a reasturant, sometimes free bar food, serves ales. Pool table , outside undercover smoking area. Dogs welcome.
