Great food & staff. Ours was a lunchtime order - we had to wait a bit for our 2 person platter, chicken tacos, wings & chicken curry - but the chef had to prepare everything herself so completely understandable. It was well worth the wait though - well done !

Just sat here tonight. Just had curry goat, chicken curry, single platter and lamb chops also 2 fried dumplings X absolutely beautiful full of flavours and so fresh X compliments to Tanya the awesome chef. Will definitely be back very soon ☺️

Traditional and welcoming with cask beers

Arrived there saturday afternoon around 3.00pm Pub not too busy, however an hour later it was full with dogs at least 11 dogs possibly more and the smell was bad me and the wife left the building the smell of dogs was over powering, each person had 2 to 3 dogs each, too many, and not what i want when i go out for a pint. Beer was good, though. Shame about the dogs. Hence the bad review

This is a proper locals pubs with great food and drink. Pool room and big screen TV and quiet areas. Great if you want a quiet pint or watch sport. Also the show pub of the Ossett Brewery.

Beautiful Carribbean chicken curry, and some great beer to wash it down. Fabulous place!

An excellent pub, great landlord, and landlady (Dale n Tanya) also their bar staff, pub well laid out and clean, great real fire, pool n darts well located. Sunday roast awesome. I will definitely be back. Have a great Christmas and New Year

Wow what can I say. Definitely the best chicken wings I’ve ever had bar none. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in town or passing through this place is a must to sample. Such nice atmosphere and welcoming people. 😎😎😎

We're not regular pub goers or drinkers but love this place. The food is amazing, the atmosphere friendly, warm and welcoming. Toilets actually have emergency toiletries and are spotlessly clean. In the summer we sat outside and this week we sat by the wood log real fire

Nice service but menu mostly chicken.

We had a 60th birthday party ,just drinks only so cannot say what the food is like ,they did bring us a tray of roast potatoes and stuffing at 5on the house Wich was nice touch a nice pub owned by ossett brewery.

Used to love this pub. Went every Friday tea time. However since Vinnie Gs took over we can't get anywhere near the place. Tried to book but they wouldn't let us. Shame.

Great beer, nice renovation and the best Caribbean goat curry from Vinnie G’s kitchen now hosted on site- doesn’t get much better than that!

Went just before closing time and had a pint before we went back to the hotel. Nice atmosphere for somewhere that wasnt that busy and was about to close for the night. my Gf said the gin was nice too.

Food inexpensive and good quality

Not sure if it has changed hands but nothing like I remember.Food nowhere near as nice and service poor.Had to ask for condiments when food arrived not asked how the meal was and portions not like before.Cant see me going there again very disappointed.

Nice little local pub. Ideal for a quick stop off. Not huge but always enough room to sit down and have a relaxing pint. Staff are very friendly and great customer service every time we've visited.

Went for lunch on a Friday. Found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful and we opted for the lasagne which was excellent. Tasty and a decent-sized portion. Nice atmosphere - a cosy pub and a little outdoor seating in summer.
