Can't not fault nothing had a breakfast None greasy Fresh Hot Quality food What more could u ask for

Very disappointed heard good things about this place saying it a good breakfast. Well its not spam was wafer thin the mushrooms were microwaved the beans and tomatoes were clap cold and the sausage were rhe cheapest ive had on a breakfast in a long time . Staff are nice shame about the food 😕

This little-known cafe serves great food at bargain prices and is ideally placed for the university.

I'm sure my wife thinks I'm having an affair because I'm always making excuses to walk past here and call in for a breakfast. The folks here are friendly, the service is great, the food is top tier and it seems to take no time at all to arrive at your table. Oh! As for the bonus slice of fried spam on your cooked breakfast - that's some real cordon bleu stuff right there. Amazing.

Excellent location, relaxed outdoor seating and easy road side parking 🅿 available. BUT how could you serve so cold food? I mean the coffee was room temperatured. Honestly too expensive to it's taste. These are all packet food warmed up. Nothing homemade.

Expensive had a lot better breakfast and cheaper no hot drinks with your meal you have to pay extra

Very busy place great breakfast

The food itself was alright but nothing to write home about, and most of the things on my plate were cold which definitely detracted from taste. Place seem to be really busy so that may be a reason but as this was my first visit and it turned out lackluster, I won't be coming back again. Staff was friendly.

The food is standard cafe food, inexpensive and filling. The staff are friendly. Unfortunately, some of the clientele are rude and ill-mannered.

Always a good spot for some breakfast. Just save up a few pennies extra as I always think it's a tad overpriced. Apart from that fab food and service.

Wonderful food , amazing English breakfast , with vegan and veggie choices, it's beautifully presented with quality produce sourced locally. Lovely outdoor space to dine or indoors if preferred. Cafe 8 is a perfect place to go to have a nice meal I've breakfast and lunch and also they do slimming world meals too which is fantastic and I highly recommend this place 😃

I recently visited Cafe 8 for breakfast and it was amazing. The warm atmosphere and delicious breakfast options made me feel at home. I had the sunny side, sausage, black pudding and it was cooked perfectly with beans. The portions were generous and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. This diner offers the best breakfast in town, and I highly recommend it.

Every time i get a sandwich egg is hard or everywhere in the bag never right. Also most expensive breakfast cafe in Huddersfield with cheap quality products. Processed meat (spam) cost more then bacon lol.

Food always good but got 2 breakfasts toast hadn't arrived, so told a waitress she said she was going to get it,out came another waitress and gave what I believe our toast so someone else who ordered a small breakfast. And got lots of white toast. Ours arrived eventually burnt was on brown not what I'd ordered. Never happened before but annoying when you've already eaten your breakfast.

Fantastic place with great food and wonderful service. Staff are friendly, professional and non-judgemental... when a customer requests are a little...different (mustard & tomato ketchup on a bacon sandwich)!

The perfect hangover cure. The atmosphere is very 'local' and friendly, the food is great and comes quickly and staff are very welcoming. The hash browns are a personal highlight for me!

Really enjoyed the food, had the Mega Breakfast, found it good value. Only downside was the sausages, I would have preferred them cooked slightly longer and if better quality. We did wait sometime, but it was busy, however others who ordered after us were served, so I feel our order was missed or had a mistake etc, but they did apologize a lot.

Cafe 8 is a spotlessly clean, friendly cafe. It serves the customary cafe items but also syn-free foods for those of a Slimming World persuasion. I've been in numerous times and had bacon sandwiches, sausage sandwiches, scrambled eggs-all washed down by a good cup of tea or coffee. There is room to sit inside and also two outside areas. Definitely one to try if you get the lunchtime munchies.

Great food great staff plenty of space inside and out

Me and my Mam came here for lunch together last week, as our usual cafe was closed. I have to say, I am so so pleased that we stumbled upon this hidden gem. I ordered a medium mince and dumplings and had an ice cream sundae afterwards. Both were absolutely delicious, plenty on the plate and tasted beautiful. You can tell it’s proper home cooked food. Furthermore, for my meals, a drink and a drink for my Mam, it came to under £10. We were so shocked at how cheap it was considering how delicious everything was. My Mam even complimented how tasty her latte was! The service was great, with such a friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be going back and bringing further friends and family. Thanks so much!

Ordered 2 small breakfasts today for takeout after being told their food was great. Our food was absolutely bang on. Will certainly be using this place for our future breakfasts. Staff members were lovely and polite. Really impressed, well done cafe 8 !!

Opening times say till 1pm Yes we were last minute customers however we were refused service at 12:51pm I hope these premises have not used public money to assist them through lock down and then choose to refuse custom because they want to get away early Poor poor service In fact No service whatsoever Disgruntled ex customer

egg wasn't runny, paid for bacon egg and sausage and only got sausage and egg in one of the sandwiches and none of it was well done as requested.. disappointing as its local and has always been half decent before now.
