Excellent and we enjoyed especially the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, the service and attention were great and coming from Italy we can confirm the authenticity of the food.

Abbiamo mangiato piatti tipici italiani… Come antipasto abbiamo ordinato prosciutto e burrata, si sente come i prodotti siano tutti freschi e importati dall’’Italia,i primi sono stati gli gnocchi fatti in casa con ragù di anatra e una tagliolini cacio e pepe, abbiamo assaggiato sia l’uno che l’altro e nulla da dire ,tutto ottimo. Come tocco finale un buonissimo tiramisù. Ristorante ottimo,speriamo di tornare prestissimo in Inghilterra e torneremo sicuramente al Don Ciccio.

Excellent restaurant with fantastic service. Food is wonderful. We’ve been many times and have never been disappointed. The pizza, pasta, salads, starters, desserts, wines are always delicious. The first time we went it was early and it was quiet, but we are so glad we stopped. This has easily become one of our favorite restaurants in Highgate. The restaurant is incredibly kid/family-friendly and will go above and beyond for you.

Sorry but not a good experience. The staff are lovely, the service is good but this is where it begins and ends. The food is average to say the least but the prices?! They are extortionate and sadly, the food quality didn’t match the prices. If you’re going to charge £26 for a main course, not only should it be of a high standard, but it should come with additions. A lamb dish for £26 was served chopped into small chunks with a few salad leaves on the plate. A tasty chicken escalope accompanied by just a slice of lemon for £25 bordered on the ridiculous. If you charge almost £7 for a side of broccoli or roast potatoes they need to be of a very high standard or some very special broccoli or potatoes. Sadly they weren’t. Tiramisu was charged at £10.50 for a portion! This we did not order for that price. We’re happy to pay these prices for a high standard but these prices seem randomly pulled out of the air. They could be queuing at this local restaurant, but sadly, with these prices I can see why it wasn’t busy on a Saturday evening, The prices matched Cecconi where we ate last week, but was nowhere near a match. Another local Italian called Pizzeria Pappagone which is a short drive away is amazing value for money, always busy and the food is delicious. Such a shame this restaurant isn’t in the same vein. £100 spent for some pizza bread to start, a lamb dish, a chicken dish, 2 sides, 1 glass of wine and a beer. Sadly for the standard of food, the bill should have been £70 max. We left feeling extremely short changed and slightly ripped off.

I was born in Highgate 63 years ago but had never been back since. I decided it was time to visit. I checked tripadvisor for the best reviewed restaurant and we turned up at Don Ciccio pretty soaked from the unexpected showers! Over the past 18 months we visited lots of different areas in Italy and eaten in 30 plus restaurants. The food at Don Ciccio was as good as any we had eaten on our travels. The ambience was lovely but what we will always remember is Caterina. She was an amazing host, took time to chat to us and her warmth and friendliness made the evening very special. When we explained that we had to return to Marylebone that evening she wrote down the bus numbers. She even told us when the bus was due and where to catch it. We look forward to seeing Highgate again and will definitely visit Don Ciccio when we do. Thank you Caterina!

We came here for my niece’s 2nd birthday, the food, service and ambience were absolutely fantastic - my new favourite Italian restaurant! The pizzas and the truffle pasta were absolutely to die for, along with the desserts.

The special was fresh white truffle pasta. The truffle was indeed very fresh and flavoursome, delivered on freshly homemade pasta- simply delicious. The service was excellent.

We had a big meal here with 11 of us, the restaurant is beautiful, with lovely candles and a great ambience, it’s not loud like most restaurants in London. Beautiful food, authentic fresh pasta and the prawns are soooo soft which you normally only get near the ocean. Highly recommend

Came on a warm summer night and sat at a table by wide open windows and was wonderful - perfect summer Ambience. We were given a surprise complementary carrot soup before food we ordered arrived - was light and delicious. Of the food we ordered, Adults then had the calamari and wild boar pasta and pasta and prawns and spinach - all delicious! Our little one had from the kids menu, tomato pasta and chocolate ice cream (came with a generous 2 x scoops) - little one’s pasta was scrumptious and the ice cream tasted amazing so adults had their own too! Service was excellent too. Will be returning soon!

A lovely restaurant, some really tasty items. The complimentary soup was lovely as was the bolognese pizza. I only gave 4 stars because my friends pizza came with spicy sauce/chilli which wasn't on the menu. This was resolved when we flagged it, luckily my friend is just intolerant to chilli not allergic. We have been there on weekday. It was what we were expecting. Amazing dedicated service, nice quality food and relaxing atmosphere. We were amazed by the host who look after us very well. This is a perfect place where to have an intimate dinner or meeting with friend. We have tried their signature beer and it was delicious.
