Albertini Restaurant in Camden

Enjoyed a lovely meal here with my work colleagues (13 of us), after a very long day and early start. Everything was perfect! The staff are lovely and very attentive. I had a spicy pasta dish, and it was delicious 😋.

We called in on the off chance of a table on our way to the train station and were very pleased with the warm welcome we received. We both had an excellent meals the seafood risotto my wife’s favourite and my pizza were really good and finished off with Affogato for sweets just perfect. Overall a really nice restaurant off the main street with very good food and service we will certainly be back. Many thanks keep up the work.

We looked at this restaurant in the afternoon and decided to go back for an early dinner. We were so lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked, there were so many people turned away. And I can understand why, the food was so well cooked and served, the sea bass was delicious and I had calamari for a starter which was so light and crispy. My companions had carbonara - the best, calves liver was melt in the mouth. The tiramisu disappeared far too quickly!! All served by courteous staff, a really lovely evening, if we weren't moving on the next day, we would have booked to go again. !!

I've been here a few times both with my son and my wife. Super friendly family run Italian restaurant serving fantastic food with a great atmosphere.

Good Italian restaurant in London. We dined a bit by chance and waited a few minutes for a table but we were brought closer to the bar and the staff were very welcoming despite a lot of people. Very good and hearty dish. It was a very nice experience

Even on a Tuesday evening in March the restaurant was busy with a nice atmosphere. We have been to Albertini many times over a few years - it is a long established Italian next to the British library. We shared a couple of pizzas to share followed by a choice of several dishes as mains including seafood pasta and calves liver. Everything we ate was enjoyable and portions are decent. With friendly service and reasonable prices we had a good evening. With a bottle of chianti and a choice of deserts the damage £57 each including service. Recommend.

On my first night in London, I had dinner there with my daughter. The food was great and the attention of a Spanish waitress named Laura was also wonderful.

Very good Italian restaurant, good Italian dishes. We opted for a vegetarian pizza and a carbonara pasta dish, it was very good!

The pizzas are really good, the service very friendly. As stated in other comments, we feel that we are a little under pressure to consume at times and that it smacks of management's directive. But it remains quite subtle and not necessarily annoying. We will happily return there on a future visit.

Reservamos una mesa para dos con una semana de antelación solo para asegurarnos de que teníamos un buen lugar para comer antes de coger el tren a casa desde la calle. Pancras que está a la vuelta de la esquina. Recién salidos de una actuación por la tarde de Phantom estuvimos voraces y la comida no decepcionó, nada de lujo salvo una pizza margherita y otra con un poco más de carne más de lo que hizo el trabajo. Seguimos esto con un postre, un canelón y una mousse de chocolate que remató la comida perfectamente. El costo llegó a alrededor de £ 60 incluyendo un par de refrescos, que a precios de Londres es más que razonable.

The Sea bass was as the song says Simply The Best. My husband had the steak which was excellent cooked to perfection. The same can be said about the vegetables. The homemade panacotta was delicious. This restaurant is cosy, friendly and very professional. Thank you to all.

This is our little bolt-hole for when we want a good feed before our commute home. Love the food and service is always really good and friendly. Recommend the aubergine parmesan bake... delicious!

We were going to an exhibition at the British Library and this was really convenient. Really impressed with it and would highly recommend.

Had dinner here on our 1st night in London. Delicious. The pasta is incredible. Perfectly, perfectly cooked - it was so nice to have Al Dente pasta instead of the overcooked mush that so many Italian Restaurants serve. If you are in the area - do NOT eat in the nearby Pizza Express - take the effort to walk the additional 2 minutes and eat here - you will not be disappointed.

Increíble restaurante italiano cerca de la estación de Euston en Londres. Pequeño lugar pero muy ocupado = la comida es buena! Mi marido y yo tuvimos un entrante y 2 platos de pasta, increíble! No tiene horno de leña, sin embargo la pizza se veía muy bien y sabroso! A+++

Found by checking for best Italian restaurants near our hotel in Euston. Just off Euston Road . Great buzz . Lots of conversations and laughing going on. Liver and onions perfectly cooked. Peroni and morretti in bottles.

The best restaurant in London. Delicious pasta cooked fresh and not pre-cooked, they cook it better than restaurants in Italy. Very good pizza, top service in a warm and comfortable environment. Italians go to Albertini when you are in London

Visited Albertini on a Friday night with a friend, and it was a pleasant experience. I recommend making a reservation as it was quite busy. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. The food was enjoyable. We shared a vegetable plate starter that was well-cooked and a pizza that was tasty. For dessert, the tiramisu wasn’t to my taste, but the chocolate soufflé was a highlight and very satisfying. Overall, a good spot for a casual meal with friendly service and decent food. Worth a visit!

Lovely dinner here. Would recommend the calf liver! Food service was speedy and prompt, automatic gratuity was 12.5% and pizzas started around £13. Staff was a bit too eager asking if we were ready to order, but that's really me nitpicking.

I learned to cook in a very high quality Italian restaurant in Yorkshire, years ago. What made that restaurant good is what makes this one good. Fresh, high quality ingredients, traditional family recipes, nothing pretentious, flavour to the max...!! Honestly one of the best Italian kitchens in London! Nothing wrong, everything right. Will return here again and again...

A la llegada a las 6. A las 20h encontramos este restaurante muy ocupado y acogedor. Las mesas son bastante pequeñas y muy cerca, pero el ambiente era muy agradable. Un entrante compartido de bruschetta bufalo (£ 9 . 50 ) era bueno aunque los tomates podrían haber sido un poco más dulces. Nuestra pizza calzone (£ 14. 90 ) estaba de pie con un montón de relleno y una corteza sabrosa. Un pastel de queso madagacano (£ 6. 60 ) terminó una muy buena comida. Serice era rápido y professioanal en todo momento. Nos pareció que el Albertini era excelente relación calidad-precio y una ubicación perfecta cerca de los principales sementales de Euston, calle Pancras y Kings Cross.

A lovely restaurant, with a nice vibe. Food was perfect! Husband had to go to Moorfields, and I decided to go to the British library to do a little work. We wanted lunch after his appointment, so I looked at Tripadvisor to see what was local. I took a stroll around the area and found Charlton Street. What a lovely street. Metres from the hustle of Euston Road was this lovely street, full of eateries and a little market. Liked the look of Albertini, so in we went. What a find. The food was super, prices more of less what I would expect. The staff were super, very attentive, and pleasant.we ordered the bruschetta, calves liver and a panacotta. Well! Beautifully presented and so very tasty. A glass of Prosecco to start was just the trick. I wish we had this restaurant in Watford. We will definitely return!

Incredibly slow service and I had to chase and remind them of our water order a number of times. Food was quite dry and disappointing. Albertini was the most reliable Italian restaurant in the region a couple of years ago, but the last 3 times we went there it was a mistake. Never again

One of the worst carbonaras I've ever had. I'm certain they used uncooked bacon. It definitely wasn't guanciale. Service was great, I can say that at least.

Everything was perfect! The steak, tagliatelle and pizza were excellent! The tiramisu cookies wanted a little less dipping in the coffee.

This was a wonderful dinner location while staying at the St Pancras Hotel in London. The owner was so accommodating and helpful when we needed to sit in a spot away from a loud table. He was attentive and thoughtful throughout our dinner experience.

The place really impressed. I went since I was in the neighbourhood on a Saturday evening and I might have taken one of the last tables. Ordered albertini parmigiana and calzone. My companion did get the liver dish (which he really liked). I can't recommend it enough. Parmigiana was good but calzone really shined. The dough was very tasty but the filling was so nicely balanced ah. I am already thinking about when I can visit next. To finish the meal we had the tiramisu which was handmade and yeah. My companion really liked it. I also thought it was pretty good though I generally dislike the dish. I honestly have nothing negative to say about the place. Really nice, friendly atmosphere and the staff do seem to care about the place and the guests. I'll surely visit again.

So many lovely sounding choices it was hard to decide what to have. The food was fabulous and enjoyed by all, kids, parents and grandparents. Service was quick and staff were very helpful. We will definitely come back.

Italian restaurant. Your usual standard Italian pizza, pasta and related starters and mains. Very pleasant service. Well recommended

The one star is for the pudding (the other 4 stars are for the AI that hides low scores), the pizza was under cooked and 4 cheese more one and a half - mostly blue cheese as for force charging service charge.. Well you would not have received a tip because the service was appalling - Wetherspoons offers better by miles and at a quarter of the price, you should try it sometime soon!

Ce petit resto est une magnifique découverte. Nous y sommes allés à deux reprises sur un sejour de 4 jours. Nos enfants de 9 et 12 ans ont partagé une pizza margherita qu'ils ont dévorée. Very popular restaurant just a short distance walk from both St Pancreas and Euston stations. Service is attentive and (for London) prices are reasonable. Menu is okay without being too adventurous. You could do a lot worse in this part of London.

Lovely from start to finish. Friendly staff give prompt but not intrusive service. Fresh pasta and delicious dessert. You can see the team really care about the restaurant and the quality of their dining experience. I haven't had a many meals that were this good.

What a relief to eat authentic Italian food. This one happens to be in London. The staff are great and the food very good. The Italian waiter pays undivided attention to the guest and does not miss a beat. Gives advice and tips and is super friendly, the owner is also Italian and very nice - in short, an absolute must in London

We had the best meal! The location was perfect, quiet but a lovely atmosphere. The food was amazing. I had the ravioli which was simply delicious. My husband had the rib eye which was superb, the char on the steak was so good and the peppercorn sauce was outstanding. The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. One of the best Italian restaurants in the area we had an enjoyable lunch on a sunny Saturday. I have been to this restaurant many times - though not recently- so it was nice to go back. We had a shared starter of pizza bread with tomato followed by mains of seafood pasta and the calves liver. Both mains were very good though my sister would have preferred the calves liver without it being flattened. A minor point. We enjoyed a decent bottle of chianti and a couple of coffees. Service was friendly and professional. The damage for 2 including service £105. For this standard of cooking good value - do go - you can book online.

This restaurant is a gem. The welcome is good, the service is as good as it gets and the food and its presentation is excellent. Thanks to the chef and all the staff for making our meal with you memorable. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in London.

Food is delicious, but watch out fie the infated gratuity ....however they politely removed it when asked and we were able to pay what we could afford or felt reasonable given the price of the food...which I stress... was very tasty

Found this restaurant on Google maps and so glad I stopped in! I was seated at a table quickly, had my food quickly, but was not rushed. Table service was excellent. The staff were friendly. The food was delicious! I was only sorry I didn’t have room for dessert.

We have dined at this restaurant a couple of times over the years. Our last reservation really came as a big disappointment, no less than 1 minute after we finished our horrifying tiramisu and coffee (which was made wrongly) the table was cleaned clumsily and we were offered bills without even asking. Obviously it was for the queue outside but I'm not sure we deserved such rude service - we did book a table for this duration of time.

There are plenty of Italian places that have better carbonara for the same price.

Good food but pasta for one took 50 minutes at 6pm on a Wednesday. Owner says it was because it was gluten free. It takes 50 minutes to make gluten free pasta? Impossible. I would not have left a negative review but the excuse was silly.

Went to London for tour and tried albertini, might be the best risotto I've tried ever! The pizza pasta was all very yummy too. Love the ambience, the service was perfect even if the restaurants filled up.

Table service is so bad. I ordered white pasta with red sauce. There was no explanation. After paying, I hoped for a glass of water.

MAINS Ordered: Tagliatelle Tartufo 5/5, Porcini Risotto Tartufo 5/5 Both were insanely good, probably since it is run by an authentic Italian family. Having been to Rome recently, I can happily say that this was the best Italian meal I’ve had. The risotto was cooked to perfection (which is quite a feat), and the pasta was delicious and not too oily. The portions were great. DESERT Ordered: Panna Cotta 5/5, Affogato 5/5 Panna cotta was creamy, authentic and sublime- could practically taste the vanilla. Presentation was great. Affogato was wonderful. Great coffe and expresso, delicious vanilla gelato. I would 100% recommend.

The products are good but the quantities need to be reviewed in relation to the price. The prosceco of the Spritz is more than diluted, the special Albertini is a scam...so very salty addition!
