Albertini Restaurant in Camden

Tried something new and loved it!

No complaints about my meal at Albertini. I try to limit my pasta intake but decided to go all in for some spaghetti carbonara. It was delicious and then I went in for the cheesecake that was obviously store bought but still good ending for my meal. My server was attentive enough with a smile. Food came out quickly. Restaurant was loud or maybe it was just the crowd at the time.

We all enjoyed our meals, the coffee was excellent and the waiter was friendly. Would be happy to go back

There are a lot of places to eat with in a block. My wife and I stumbled upon this little place as we were walking around and haven't regretted it. We were walking around for a place to eat our first night back in London and decided to stop here. The food was amazing. Be warned, compared to American portions, they are small. All though just about the perfect amount. We ended up eating here two nights in a row because it was so good The restaurant manager was very attentive and directed his staff accordingly. Service was top notch. If we are in the area again, we will differently eat here again.

The location was just okay if you were thinking about dining outdoors (it was on a side street across from a few other restaurants). The food was good, we got the pesto pasta and the truffle ravioli. The burrata appetizer, the cheese was extremely watery - it was not the best I've had. The servers were attentive and friendly. There was no wait on a Tuesday night and we were able to walk right in.

Great food and,service. buzzy venue so can be a loud/ difficult to hear, but didn't spoil anything

The welcome and service were correct and the food was good. However, I ordered ravioli and I was able to count them on the plate, there were 10 of them. At £16 a plate, ravioli is expensive. I had a lemonade served in 20cl for £4.5. So it's good but the value for money may be excessive. And at 10 p.m. we clearly understood that they were closing.

Booked a table for dinner while waiting for the sleeper train from Euston based on the reviews and we weren't disappointed. Food and service were fantastic and very reasonably priced. If we're ever back in the area we'll be sure to return.

Had a dinner with two friends here - it’s in between train stations, very conveniently located. The food tasted alright and the service was also ok. Great atmosphere and the whole place got quite busy later after 6pm. Will try the pizza next time.

The Sea Bass was delicious. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Excellent value. Easy booking through their website. Highly recommended.

Excellent. I was introduced to this place a couple of years ago and this is now my favourite place for authentic and delicious Italian food.

Some friends and I stumbled upon this lovely little restaurant while out after work. Food was beautiful, service very attentive and atmosphere was great. Defo recommend a visit.

Food: The tagliatelle with pollo funghi and quatro formaggi are delicious!! The tagliatelle with creamy mushroom is the best I've ever tried!! Kudos to the chef! Service: The manager and the staff are very accommodating. I seldom find any hospitable crew from western restaurants in UK but this one is different. I notice that they smile all the time to customers and attentive! Keep up the good work!

We were come here Saturday night with my companion around 9pm and we were welcomed by Frederic ! He was amazing with us and very polite! We really enjoyed our meals here ! The food was delicious and the staff were very nice ! Thanks to Frederic !

the food was good but albert and tini didn't fries my fries good. I was disappointed due to how much i love their orange juices. I told them im not paying for the food when it was brought to the table. This led to me being escorted out of the restaurant. Overall my experience was rather pleseant.

Dined with a friend and we were delighted with the place - great food , amazing pizza, fabulous service and a great atmosphere - it was a Thursday eve and all tables were filled and yet the staff made you feel so welcome . Would recommend and will go back .

Party of 1 here. Took about 15-20 minutes to be seated but I was immediately greeted. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Food was incredible and made in house where you can have a nice visual of near the entrance. I was holiday so I’m always willing to pay for good food and good experience, so I’d say the value matched the price.

Had a takeaway and the gentleman who took my order was very polite, pleasant and honest about foods to takeaway! Made my first meal in London a blessing! Thank you! Pasta was good, calzone was good and crispy calamari + zucchinis were good too. Servings were generous (base on where I am from). Would hope to dine in for the Carbonara!

Nos encanta ir a Albertinis - por lo general en pareja, pero ayer tuvimos un día en familia en Londres y éramos 9 de nosotros que van de 10 años a 68 incluyéndome en mi silla de ruedas. (Para ayudar a otros usuarios de sillas de ruedas, aunque me hicieron sentir muy bienvenido, no creo que haya un inodoro accesible para sillas de ruedas). Tuvimos un tiempo fantástico desde la llegada hasta la salida. La mesa nos estaba esperando y a pesar de que el restaurante estaba ocupado y animado nos sirvieron con bebidas rápidamente y con una cálida bienvenida. La comida fue muy disfrutada por todos nosotros - tuvimos pizzas, pastas, ensaladas y verduras que eran todos deliciosos. Sin duda recomiendo la tarta de queso y panacotta. El personal era muy profesional y súper amable, nuestra encantadora camarera incluso recordándome de nuestra última visita el año pasado.

Lovely welcome and such friendly staff. Food was very nice. Prices very reasonable for London.

We were made very welcome even though we had not booked. A waiter even spoke French with us to help us order and make us feel comfortable and the others were very kind and smiling. The food was also very good, the only downside was that we waited a while for our dishes.

Sat outside and enjoyed a lovely pizza with great service. Will go again when visiting London again.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here with my work colleagues (13 of us), after a very long day and early start. Everything was perfect! The staff are lovely and very attentive. I had a spicy pasta dish, and it was delicious 😋.

We called in on the off chance of a table on our way to the train station and were very pleased with the warm welcome we received. We both had an excellent meals the seafood risotto my wife’s favourite and my pizza were really good and finished off with Affogato for sweets just perfect. Overall a really nice restaurant off the main street with very good food and service we will certainly be back. Many thanks keep up the work.

Friendly staff, good food, just how I want an Italian restaurant to be!

We looked at this restaurant in the afternoon and decided to go back for an early dinner. We were so lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked, there were so many people turned away. And I can understand why, the food was so well cooked and served, the sea bass was delicious and I had calamari for a starter which was so light and crispy. My companions had carbonara - the best, calves liver was melt in the mouth. The tiramisu disappeared far too quickly!! All served by courteous staff, a really lovely evening, if we weren't moving on the next day, we would have booked to go again. !!

I've been here a few times both with my son and my wife. Super friendly family run Italian restaurant serving fantastic food with a great atmosphere.

Good Italian restaurant in London. We dined a bit by chance and waited a few minutes for a table but we were brought closer to the bar and the staff were very welcoming despite a lot of people. Very good and hearty dish. It was a very nice experience

Even on a Tuesday evening in March the restaurant was busy with a nice atmosphere. We have been to Albertini many times over a few years - it is a long established Italian next to the British library. We shared a couple of pizzas to share followed by a choice of several dishes as mains including seafood pasta and calves liver. Everything we ate was enjoyable and portions are decent. With friendly service and reasonable prices we had a good evening. With a bottle of chianti and a choice of deserts the damage £57 each including service. Recommend.

Ven aquí muy a menudo para comer con colegas. Muy buen menú, personal encantador, buen vino, buen ambiente. Sin duda recomendaría.

Very good Italian restaurant, good Italian dishes. We opted for a vegetarian pizza and a carbonara pasta dish, it was very good!

On my first night in London, I had dinner there with my daughter. The food was great and the attention of a Spanish waitress named Laura was also wonderful.

The pizzas are really good, the service very friendly. As stated in other comments, we feel that we are a little under pressure to consume at times and that it smacks of management's directive. But it remains quite subtle and not necessarily annoying. We will happily return there on a future visit.

Reservamos una mesa para dos con una semana de antelación solo para asegurarnos de que teníamos un buen lugar para comer antes de coger el tren a casa desde la calle. Pancras que está a la vuelta de la esquina. Recién salidos de una actuación por la tarde de Phantom estuvimos voraces y la comida no decepcionó, nada de lujo salvo una pizza margherita y otra con un poco más de carne más de lo que hizo el trabajo. Seguimos esto con un postre, un canelón y una mousse de chocolate que remató la comida perfectamente. El costo llegó a alrededor de £ 60 incluyendo un par de refrescos, que a precios de Londres es más que razonable.

The Sea bass was as the song says Simply The Best. My husband had the steak which was excellent cooked to perfection. The same can be said about the vegetables. The homemade panacotta was delicious. This restaurant is cosy, friendly and very professional. Thank you to all.

This is our little bolt-hole for when we want a good feed before our commute home. Love the food and service is always really good and friendly. Recommend the aubergine parmesan bake... delicious!

Had dinner here on our 1st night in London. Delicious. The pasta is incredible. Perfectly, perfectly cooked - it was so nice to have Al Dente pasta instead of the overcooked mush that so many Italian Restaurants serve. If you are in the area - do NOT eat in the nearby Pizza Express - take the effort to walk the additional 2 minutes and eat here - you will not be disappointed.

Increíble restaurante italiano cerca de la estación de Euston en Londres. Pequeño lugar pero muy ocupado = la comida es buena! Mi marido y yo tuvimos un entrante y 2 platos de pasta, increíble! No tiene horno de leña, sin embargo la pizza se veía muy bien y sabroso! A+++

Found by checking for best Italian restaurants near our hotel in Euston. Just off Euston Road . Great buzz . Lots of conversations and laughing going on. Liver and onions perfectly cooked. Peroni and morretti in bottles.

The best restaurant in London. Delicious pasta cooked fresh and not pre-cooked, they cook it better than restaurants in Italy. Very good pizza, top service in a warm and comfortable environment. Italians go to Albertini when you are in London

Visited Albertini on a Friday night with a friend, and it was a pleasant experience. I recommend making a reservation as it was quite busy. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. The food was enjoyable. We shared a vegetable plate starter that was well-cooked and a pizza that was tasty. For dessert, the tiramisu wasn’t to my taste, but the chocolate soufflé was a highlight and very satisfying. Overall, a good spot for a casual meal with friendly service and decent food. Worth a visit!

Lovely dinner here. Would recommend the calf liver! Food service was speedy and prompt, automatic gratuity was 12.5% and pizzas started around £13. Staff was a bit too eager asking if we were ready to order, but that's really me nitpicking.

I learned to cook in a very high quality Italian restaurant in Yorkshire, years ago. What made that restaurant good is what makes this one good. Fresh, high quality ingredients, traditional family recipes, nothing pretentious, flavour to the max...!! Honestly one of the best Italian kitchens in London! Nothing wrong, everything right. Will return here again and again...

A la llegada a las 6. A las 20h encontramos este restaurante muy ocupado y acogedor. Las mesas son bastante pequeñas y muy cerca, pero el ambiente era muy agradable. Un entrante compartido de bruschetta bufalo (£ 9 . 50 ) era bueno aunque los tomates podrían haber sido un poco más dulces. Nuestra pizza calzone (£ 14. 90 ) estaba de pie con un montón de relleno y una corteza sabrosa. Un pastel de queso madagacano (£ 6. 60 ) terminó una muy buena comida. Serice era rápido y professioanal en todo momento. Nos pareció que el Albertini era excelente relación calidad-precio y una ubicación perfecta cerca de los principales sementales de Euston, calle Pancras y Kings Cross.

A lovely restaurant, with a nice vibe. Food was perfect! Husband had to go to Moorfields, and I decided to go to the British library to do a little work. We wanted lunch after his appointment, so I looked at Tripadvisor to see what was local. I took a stroll around the area and found Charlton Street. What a lovely street. Metres from the hustle of Euston Road was this lovely street, full of eateries and a little market. Liked the look of Albertini, so in we went. What a find. The food was super, prices more of less what I would expect. The staff were super, very attentive, and pleasant.we ordered the bruschetta, calves liver and a panacotta. Well! Beautifully presented and so very tasty. A glass of Prosecco to start was just the trick. I wish we had this restaurant in Watford. We will definitely return!

Incredibly slow service and I had to chase and remind them of our water order a number of times. Food was quite dry and disappointing. Albertini was the most reliable Italian restaurant in the region a couple of years ago, but the last 3 times we went there it was a mistake. Never again

One of the worst carbonaras I've ever had. I'm certain they used uncooked bacon. It definitely wasn't guanciale. Service was great, I can say that at least.

Everything was perfect! The steak, tagliatelle and pizza were excellent! The tiramisu cookies wanted a little less dipping in the coffee.

This was a wonderful dinner location while staying at the St Pancras Hotel in London. The owner was so accommodating and helpful when we needed to sit in a spot away from a loud table. He was attentive and thoughtful throughout our dinner experience.

The place really impressed. I went since I was in the neighbourhood on a Saturday evening and I might have taken one of the last tables. Ordered albertini parmigiana and calzone. My companion did get the liver dish (which he really liked). I can't recommend it enough. Parmigiana was good but calzone really shined. The dough was very tasty but the filling was so nicely balanced ah. I am already thinking about when I can visit next. To finish the meal we had the tiramisu which was handmade and yeah. My companion really liked it. I also thought it was pretty good though I generally dislike the dish. I honestly have nothing negative to say about the place. Really nice, friendly atmosphere and the staff do seem to care about the place and the guests. I'll surely visit again.
