Sehr leckeres Essen (Pasta Sugo, Parmigiana, Calzone), schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Besitzer hat uns ein Dessert spendiert 🥰. Wunderschön sizilianisch eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sehr wohl!

Been to this restaurant twice recently, both the occasions were really good. Had caponata, peperonata and tomato bruschetta and arancini as starters. I would say the caponata ever, the taste of all the vegetables was incredible. So high quality. Then we tried Bronte Mare pasta with prawns cherry tomatoes and pistachios, fritto misto mixed fried fish, peperoncino pizza and pane Cunzato. A reward to puzza, great ingredients and perfectly cooked. Wow! We tried a cannolo for dessert. This is an Italian/Sicilian restaurant making great food in the heart of London/ touristic area. Strongly recommended!

Don't bother. None of the staff were Italian. Ordered Limonata - were brought 2 can of R Whites Lemonade - which we returned. There was a single salt and pepper set shared across all of the tables. Starters were nice. The pizzas were very average. I love truffle, but when your pizza comes swimming in truffle oil - it's unpleasant. That indicates to me that whoever is making the food and serving it has no idea what they're really doing. A poor end to a pleasant afternoon at the theatre - and a journey home where truffle oil repeated on me.

Excellent food, service, ambiance and good value too. I would recommend the signature Pane Cunzato and will definitely be going again.

There are plenty of authentic, family run, Italian restaurants in central London. This isn’t one of them. The food is OK but nothing like the photo’s on their web site. The service was quick but staff seemed hazy and a little put out when it came to allergy advice, which didn’t inspire us with confidence. If you are after Italian style food and are not too bothered about service or authenticity then this place is OK. You can find worse in central London but you can also find a lot better.

I booked this restaurant about 10 days in advance as we had a special weekend in London planned, however upon arrival at this small establishment it was obvious there was no spare tables.The manager came over to tell us he had made a mistake when writing down our booking time ( I wasn’t convinced by his excuse).He suggested we go and sit outside at a table under a canopy and get ourselves a drink and he would find a table as soon as possible.Why would we want to buy an extra round of drinks at his restaurant when he had let us down, or his other suggestion was to go and find a pub and he would call us when there was room for us. We decided to leave it and go and find an alternative restaurant.Even the offer of a courtesy drink whilst we could have waited was not forthcoming,not that sitting outside waiting was really an option.Very poor customer service. In the managers defence he did leave a message on my phone a while later saying a table had become available however we had left the local area by then looking for an alternative.

Endroit sympa et très pratique après la visite du british museum. Et franchement c'est bon MAIS au milieu du repas on voit un serveur nous guetter venir desservir des que l'un de nous a fini. Un autre arrive, nous explique que dans 20 minutes nous devons avoir quitté les lieux car il ya une réservation. Ok pas de soucis on aura fini et on est collaboratifs. SAUF QUE je surprends un serveur me fixer et regarder une première fois sa montre... Puis le refaire une 2e fois quelques secondes après. Non seulement ça me met mal à l'aise mais surtout très en colère. Il vient desservir mon assiette et pour la première fois de ma vie je me surprends a lui faire un doigt quand il repart alors que je déteste ce geste et que c'est nul. Entre temps mon compagnon surprend le 2e serveur regarde sa montre. Insister à ce point est juste détestable. Nous sommes partis très en colère mais avons attendu que les 4 personnes arrivent pour nous barrer. Ayant vu mon geste sûrement le patron est venu et nous a fait deux pouces.... On aurait pu s'expliquer en discuter .. Le serveur a continué en venant desservir la bouteille de vin et en regardant bien si tout était fini. Bref je ne recommande pas du tout ce resto où ils n'ont aucune notion et gestion de leur réservation et on a juste comblé une table mais c'était totalement désagréable de ne pas prendre son temps et de nous faire sentir son devait partir au plus vite !!!!

Took my eldest son and my daughter and her boyfriend here on Weds 21st Feb. I booked via The Fork so had a discount off food of 30%. Restaurant was busy at 7pm when we got there - its pretty small - probably 30-35 covers at most so there was a nice buzz. We had starters and mains and a couple of puds were also consumed. My son & I had a pizza, daughter had fish which she said was excellent and her boyfriend had a calzone which was probably 18 inches long - it all got hoovered up with no complaints! Portions were generous and the food, in our opinion, was extremely good indeed. With aperitifs and three bottles of wine the bill (with service included) was £210. Only one thing stopped me giving this five stars - whilst the service was prompt, our waiter/server didn't crack a smile or appear to be very welcoming - possibly he was having a bad day. Easy to fix though and probably wouldn't stop me going back. Definitely recommended.

PC serves the best Sicilian food I have had outside of Sicily. However, the staff have a tendency to rush people through the meal. We were still eating our starters and they plonked the mains without checking if we were ready. the family was there for a relaxed dinner but the speed they served us with we were out within an hour. If they had not rushed things we would have had another bottle of wine and dessert + coffee. This is not the first time we were there but probably will be the last.

It's not the first time I've come to eat here when I'm in London and I've always had a good time. this time I found it not up to the previous times. mediocre pizza. inattentive service. Let's hope it goes better next time.

Pistachio lover’s Italian restaurant 💓 I ordered everything with pistachio today. They are all very nice. This restaurant should be more popular than it is! I ordered a pizza with mortadella, pistachio pesto, mozzarella and burrata cheese. The dough is thin and crispy, very nice and tasty. I also ordered a linguine with cream, pistachio pesto, prawns and cherry tomato. The prawn is over cooked and the pasta is not seasoned with enough salt. It taste very light but still nice and fresh. It would be perfect if they put bit more seasoning in it with better cooked prawn. But the pasta itself is handmade, the texture is chewy which I like it. For starter, I ordered a fried aubergine with cheese, ordinary but good. And dessert, we had pistachio tiramisu, can’t picked on it at all, taste fab with coffee and pistachio crunch and layers. Overall, the pizza is very nice but the pasta is slightly disappointed. But still worth to try coz the piece is reasonable! £28/pp

Excellent restaurant. Great food at reasonable prices. Nice ambience and background music. Efficient staff who are very helpful. Massive pizza so we could have shared one! Calamari was beautifully crispy and tender. One tiny thing I’d mention, no chillies on any dish and I asked for some fresh ones on my pizza but they didn’t have them. I added Nduja to hot it up and they had a very nice chilli oil which did the trick. If the manager reads this, maybe have fresh green chillies in the fridge but apart from that, excellent and I’d like to return.

It was our first time at pane curzato, staff was lovely, and food outstanding! Definetely coming back.

Phenomenal food & atmosphere. My girlfriend & I dropped by for a quick snack and a glass of wine. We were stunned by the quality of the food & service — the owner, Fabrizio, gave us extensive details about our dish - he was very nice and forthcoming. 10/10

We were looking for an Italian restaurant where we could dine with our family during our visit to London and we found this place. We went without making a reservation, but it was empty and they let us in even though we were 5 people. After we sat down, all the tables in the venue were filled, we were lucky to go early and find a table. I ate a 4 cheese pizza and my wife ate a pasta with pistachio, prawns and tomatoes (sorry we don't remember their names). The food was amazing, we are glad we came across this place. Everything was fresh and delicious. We could fully taste different elements mixed in our plates. As for the ambience, we liked the decorations very much. Even though it was a small restaurant, it had a nice atmosphere and character. We really liked the fact that every table had different decoration and color theme. We recommend.

This restaurant looks promising but was very disappointing. The courgettes flowers were deep fried in too much batter and the melted pecorino and sourdough was not melted and the sourdough was unlike any sourdough we have ever seen. We won’t go again.

The place is lovely, but I could taste the freshness of the pasta although it’s said “fresh pasta” on the menu. The Quattro fromaggi pizza dough and thin and crusty but it tasted like it was pre-heated. It is worth trying it another time! Lovely staff.

We all had pizzas which were pretty flavourless and greasy. The pasta looked a lot better and I wish we had had that instead.

Food is fantastic - the caponata is to die for, the pane cunzato is amazing and their daily specials also always hit the spot. Service is friendly and quick and its a very cute restaurant. Small and cozy so make a res but highly highly recommend.

Had ab amazing evening at Pane Cunzato! Overall great atmosphere in the restaurant, chill and relaxing atmosphere. We were a group of 8 and it was really easy to book and communicate with the restaurant. We had great food, great wine and they even accomodate: us after closing with free dessert. Perfect experience!

If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine, go elsewhere. None of the waiters are even Italian. Food was not good and the ingredients were not fresh and rather old. Avoid at all costs.

Questa sera dopo una giornata di visite. Proprio due passi dal nostro hotel, abbiamo scoperto questo piccolo locale sostanzialmente di atmosfera. Tra i pregi una musica di sottofondo decisamente carina. Arancini, schiacciata pollo e avocado 🥑 decisamente buono. Due flut di prosecco, acqua minerale gassata, due limoncelli. Clima decisamente caldo. La persona che ci ha seguito gentile. 52.45 sterline.

Loved this small but very cute and welcoming restaurant. Half of the staff was either Italian or spoke Italian very well, and that made the atmosphere even more perfect for an Italian restaurant. We spent £54 (≈ €62) in total for 2 people, for a 4 cheese pizza, an Italian sandwich served in 4 slices, a cocktail, and a Sicilian canollo. We would highly recommend the pizza and the canollo. For the sandwich, tho, we thought it would taste better with either a bit more pesto sauce, or some tomato sauce added. The cocktail was fine. Generally, we enjoyed the food and would definitely come back to this place and recommend it to others.

Worst Italian food I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Still shocked that this can get a 4.4 on google maps. Astonishingly bad and small portions. The plating of the caprese looked like straight up vomit. Really poor food and experience for a restaurant at this price level.

Hice una reserva en octubre para diciembre y una semana antes cancelaron la reserva para no aplicar el descuento. Al entrar en su web aparece que siguen aceptando ofertas para el mismo día pero me quedo sin reserva sin dar explicaciones. Así no se hace. La comida sin mas... de precio al menos está bien y en el centro.

Lovely ambience - was surprised there were real candles being burnt! The food was very tasty (adequate but not excessive servicing sizes). We had the antipasto, ragu, chicken salad, and pistachio tiramisu. The service was patient and attentive despite some of our party being late to arrive. Minor improvement would be the addition of some beers to the menu, and the dessert menu being quite hard to read because of the dim lighting and ornate font.

Very poor experience. Reserved a table, arrived on time and was told by the waiter I had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The waiter also barely spoke English so it was hard to communicate with him.

The food was delicious. The bread was exceptionally fresh and tasty. As an appetizer, we recommend the cheese and honey and nuts. We really enjoyed the sandwich with ham and cheese as well. I'm sure everything else was also great. We stopped here before going to the British Museum, which is in the area. We recommend a reservation, because it is a relatively small restaurant.

I had a super unpleasant experience when I visited this restaurant on Sunday and I ordered a Gluten Free Focaccia. I had already eaten one piece and then the waiter came to say it was actually not gluten free, they didn’t even apologise or felt bad about it and just brought a new one and we had to tell them that’s the worse service ever, this is people’s health we’re talking about, they cannot afford to make these mistakes where the chef doesn’t read it’s gluten free. I felt ill for two days after that just because they didn’t pay attention or care about people with allergies. Didn’t even apologise or offered us something until my friend said they shouldn’t even charge the focaccia which they were reluctant at first but didn’t end up charging it, but still that was not enough for the pain and trouble they caused and the worst part is they honestly didn’t care. The minimum would have been not to charge me anything. If you’re gluten free please AVOID this restaurant, terrible service

Very cozy Italian restaurant near the British Museum. I had a pizza which I must say was perfectly made authentic Italian pizza. There is also nice ambiance about the place with the choice of background music.

Prebooked a table for 4 on a saturday evening. Ordered various pizza and pasta dishes. Food good, service great in a small off the beaten track rustic family style Italian restaurant. Even got a small post main course birthday cake.

Waiters were a bit rude, quite a few flies flying around the place which made it unpleasant to eat, especially when they land on the drinks. Food was overpriced, and when the pizzas came out both were burnt. Overal wouldn’t recommend

Fantastic little pizza place that we visited pre theatre for a quick bite. The place is small and a little on the cramped side but that just makes it more cozy, right? My pizza was one of the best i've ever had and have been looking forward to going back ever since!

This was actually really good. The arancini balls were quite small compared to the ones I've been used to, but they were tasty.

Un altro pezzo di Italia nell'immensa Londra. Al termine di una visita al British Museum stavo cercando un posto dove mangiare. Tra i suggerimenti di Google è apparso Pane Cunzato. Come sempre, diffido dei locali italiani all'estero, ma le recensioni positive di questo locale mi hanno convinto. Non posso che confermare la qualità del posto: ottima cucina italiana, prodotti di qualità e made in Italy. Clima molto familiare e felice, servizio molto attento ai clienti. Ho avuto la possibilità di parlare anche con il titolare, di grande compagnia e disponibilità. Sicuramente, un posto in cui tornare! Lasagne molto buone, cannolo spaziale. Birra Baladin decisamente gradita!
